Rachel and Tom have moved to a new place - Tom has spent a lot of time getting the interiors done right, and that too very tastefully.
It's surprising for Rachel to learn that her banker husband has such a good flair for interiors.

The 1st day of her moving in Rachel meets Chloe and Tom introduces her as the real estate point of contact - but what Rachel doesnt understand is why would Chloe let herslf inside the house so randomly!
She lets go of the thought when Tom convinces her that she also has a key as she is from the real estate office.

When Tom takes Rachel to the backyard and shows the pool he has built she genuinely freaks out due to her traumatic past and she is very surprised that Tom was being inconsiderate.
Tom has his reasons, he wants their son to learn swimming and also he wants Rachel to get trained - he wants her to let go of the past and live for the future.

As Tom starts going out for work, Rachel is now left alone at home and she has to ensure their son's safety. But someone keeps visiting her son in his room during his sleep time and he keeps saying that daddy's friend visits him.
Who is this special friend and why is she making her appearance in the middle of the night?
Tom seems to be going out of his way to be working hard and keeps repeating that Rachel's father was not right in restricting his access to her inheritance - why!

A gripping thriller, was so good that I had to finish it in 1 day!

Thanks to Netgalley, Bookouture Audio and Sue Watson for approving my audio ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I definitely didn't see the end coming! I welcome a well done twist especially when it's thrown in at the very end.
I was left with a smile on my face.

Rachel, Tom and their young son move into a new home after the passing of Rachel's dad.

Rachel has trouble adjusting and making new friends, but eventually makes one.

Strange things begin to happen and she can't figure out if what she is feeling is valid, if she is being paranoid/over-reacting, or if someone is playing tricks on her.

As her, her friend and her husband clash she has to decide who to trust and who is ultimately telling the truth.

You, Me, Her by Sue Watson Audiobook version 4 stars. I thought this one was pretty good, and I enjoyed the narrator. There were a couple of shocking moments, and I think it was a solid domestic thriller. Love the cover on this book! Will pick up this author’s work again. **Book Review: You, Me, Her by Sue Watson**

Rachel is plagued by a deep-seated fear of water, a phobia rooted in a traumatic past, making the prospect of residing in a seaside home utterly terrifying. Yet, when an unexpected inheritance from her father presents an opportunity, her husband Tom convinces her to leave their cramped Manchester apartment and invest in a house along the stunning Cornish Coast. While Tom manages the renovations, Rachel and their four-year-old son, Sam, remain in Manchester.

Despite Tom's assurance that their new coastal life will be idyllic, Rachel's anxiety about living near the ocean persists. What follows is a tumultuous journey filled with chaos, confusion, and danger. As Rachel navigates through this new chapter, she encounters bizarre individuals and faces a labyrinthine plot that leaves her questioning whom she can trust.

"You, Me, Her" is a masterfully crafted novel teeming with gripping twists that make it impossible to put down. The narrative is exquisitely delivered, drawing readers deeply into Rachel's harrowing yet compelling story.

I extend my gratitude to NetGalley and Watson's team for providing this Advanced Reader Copy.

I listened to the Audio version of this book and really enjoyed it. The story kept me captivated and had a good twist at the end. I did feel like there could have been one last chapter though to wrap it up.

I just finished listening to You, Me, Her by Sue Watson, narrated by Tamsin Kennard, and I am thrilled! The story grabs me right from the start and never lets go. Rachel and Tom’s move to the countryside seems perfect, but secrets and suspicions quickly turn it into a gripping psychological thriller.
Sue Watson’s writing keeps me on edge, and I love the twists and turns. I start doubting Rachel's perspective—is she really picking up on something, or is she unreliable? The final twist surprises me completely.
Tamsin Kennard’s narration is fantastic. She brings the characters to life, adding the perfect emotional touch. Her voice makes the story even more engaging.
Though I predict the ending, it doesn’t lessen my enjoyment. The suspense and fast pace keep me hooked. This book is intense and entertaining. Very grateful to the publisher for my ALC, opinions are my own .

Thank you Netgalley, Sue Watson and Bookouture for the audio Arc of You, Me, her.
Narrated by Tamsin Kennard

You, Me, Her is a good psychological domestic thriller with some great twists and turns. This is the first of Sue Watsons books, Ive read/listened to although I have seen her name on recommendations. You, Me, Her follows Rachel and Tom and an idyllic move into a wonderful house in the countryside of Cornwall. Tom has a fully established job, travels a lot and a doting Father and Husband. Rachel a doting wife and Mum but has had a traumatic experience and is a long term sufferer of PTSD and severe anxiety. On the day they move, Chloe, the estate agent that sorted the move with Tom, lets herself into their new home. Why has she still got a set of keys? Who is it that her son keeps seeing at the dead of night?

I really like Sue Watson's writing style. She manages to keep the plot going and build the characters in a well paced narrative. As the story unfolds and you follow the twists and turns, I start having doubts of whether Rachel is an unreliable narrator or is she truly picking up on that something is a miss with this Chloe character. It winds up throughout the book and the final twist flings it back at you a final pay off that you didn't see coming.

This book has been narrated by Tamsin Kennard. I have heard her voice before and always enjoy listening to her voice. It carries weight and places the right emotions /emphasis on the words she reads. She's a pleasure to listen to.

This book was so well done!

It is difficult to know what to expect with a domestic thriller. Often I think I know what I am going to get right from the beginning. And, to be honest, I thought this book was going to be another one of those books when I started it!

I am so glad I kept reading and found out that I was wrong! It was well done, it kept me wondering what was really happening, who is telling the truth, and who can be trusted.

I always enjoy when I am pleasantly surprised by a book, and this is definitely one of those! Do yourself a favor and check this out.

This is my second book by Sue Watson, and I love her writing style! This book was intense, and the suspense building throughout was executed very well. This was a fast paced, entertaining read. The characters were not likable. I even found myself yelling at the main character Rachel for her naiveté She was so gifted at that! As annoyed as she made me, I was rooting for her. I was able to predict the end, but that did not take away from how good the plot was delivered or how engaging the story was. I plan to read more by Sue Watson!

Tamsin Kennard is a narrator I truly enjoy, and she did a phenomenal job with the audiobook!

This thriller did not disappoint! A seemingly ideal marriage, a tragic past, an idyllic Cornwall, England, setting...
Initially in the story it is clear that something underlying is not quite right...and before long it seems like it will be easy enough to figure out who you should and shouldn't like, as well as the antagonist. There were definitely some surprise twists...and just when you think it's over, a bombshell ending! Perfectly entertaining and a must-read summer domestic thriller.
I've listened to a few books so far by this narrator and she does a great job with multiple characters.
Watson has apparently written a string of books along this genre, and I can't wait to dig in!
Thanks to #NetGalley and Bookouture for this ARC.

"Nothing bad is going to happen."

"I don't trust her and you shouldn't either."

The first quote is Rachel's mantra to get her through her anxiety. The second is advice she should have listened to so the first line would be true. Almost every synopsis for You Me Her, by prolific psychological thriller author Sue Watson, is a spoiler. However, the last sentence at the end is the real jaw dropping twist.

The You is Tom, Rachel's husband. He's handsome, charming and travels a lot for work but always comes home to Rachel. The Me is Rachel. Loving mom to 4 year old Sam, devoted wife to Tom and has severe anxiety and PTSD from a devastating trauma. The Her is Chloe, their estate agent, who oversees their move from a small Manchester home to a beautiful Cornwall house after Rachel's dad leaves her a significant inheritance, and quickly insinuates herself into their lives. She even starts wearing Rachel's clothes.

Chloe also appears vengeful, just ask Rachel when child services show up to investigate how she is caring for Sam.

Voice actress Tamsin Kennard hit the right nuances with the writer's carefully chosen words for each character; so that even though I knew what was going on, and kept yelling at Rachel to pay attention, I still wasn't sure if Chloe was full crazy, or if Rachel was totally paranoid or if Tom was completely innocent.

Then after every twist was revealed the last sentence was uttered and my eyes went wide, my brain exploded and this audiobook's title changed to, "You Me Her WTF!" You may think you know but you don't know it all.

I received a free copy of this audiobook from Bookouture Audio via #NetGalley for a fair and honest review. All opinions are my own.

This book was so gripping! I loved how twisted the plot of this book was. I kinda knew who the “other woman” was early on, but that did not tarnish my reading experience at all. I really enjoyed this wild ride.

You think you knew who was out to get Rachel, but the next incident would change your mind and question everything you thought you knew. Told through Rachel's point of view, even I thought she mad at times - but with all of the potential possibilities and threats, of course she didn't know what to believe. Rachel wanted to see the best of every person she loved and encountered, which turned out to be her biggest fault. Though she soon figured out who she thought she could believe, she shouldn't.

Tom's attitude screamed selfish and money hungry. Paired with Rachel's fathers direction to not allow Tom direct control over the money left to Rachel raised all of my hackles. But dearest Rachel just saw the man who showed up when she needed him most in her life, and was blinded by all the yellow and red flags.

As the crazy girl that no one believes but is actually trying to be her friend, Chloe couldn't understand the sudden harshness she experiences from Rachel. Was Chloe a little crazy? Yes. But did she come to her senses and try to help Rachel? Also yes. Chloe was a victim too in a way. She was manipulated to believe one narrative, yet her yearning to be a true friend won out.

The twists, turns and planted seeds of doubt will keep you hooked the entire way, until the very last minute of the book! Would highly recommend as a light phycological thriller!

Thank you to Sue Watson, Bookouture and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my review.

The narrator was good and the premise of the story was interesting although I did find the main character really annoying and didn’t warm to her, i guessed the twist very early on in the book and was hoping there would be more to it.

You, Me, Her by Sue Watson and narrated by Tamsin Kennard is a belter of a psychological thriller that left me gobsmacked by the hoofing great big twist! Dodging back and forth with twist after twist, manipulation, deceit, cliques and all of it plausible, a blinder of a listen!

Rachel is starting a new life in Cornwall. Having lost her father, his will has enabled her and her husband Tom to start over and Tom has found an idyllic property in Cornwall. Tom goes down first to get the house fixed up and ready to move in while Rachel sells the flat in Manchester and takes care of their 4 year old son Sam. However, when Rachel gets down to Cornwall, it is difficult to get settled in, not least for the isolation and cliquey parents at nursery (oh my life, you will despise Jennifer)

Rachel makes friends with Chloe, who she believes is the mother of Sams friend Emily. She is certainly known to Rachel's husband Tom from a previous job and also as the estate agent for the house they have just bought. Chloe is also incredibly flirtatious with Tom, to the point of concern

Add in Jasmine, Rachels bff and biggest ally. The nurse who cared for Rachel's father before he passed and a no-nonsense advocate who despises Rachels husband Tom (which is vehemently reciprocated by him)

The narration is outstanding and the twists and turns make a rollercoaster look like a straight line. The writing is intriguing, gripping and has twists you will not see coming. Strap in for a belter of a thriller, I loved it!

Thank you to Netgalley, Bookouture Audio, the author Sue Watson and narrator tamsin kennard for this awesome ALC. My review is left voluntarily and all opinions are my own

You, Me, Her was an easy fast paced story. I liked it but it also annoyed me lol. Let me explain.

Rachel is married to Tom and they have a young son, Sam. Rachel's father passed away and left her with an inheritance. Rachel's father did not trust Tom and said the inheritance could only be in Rachel's name. Of course, this bruises Tom's ego but he still manages to do a good job spending it on their new home. Rachel's father not trusting Tom - red flag number one. The guy builds an extravagant expensive pool and Rachel doesn't even know he spent her money on it. Red flag number two.

And then the red flags go on and on...I am thinking is Rachel really that naive and trusting? Tom is an absolute douche bag. Rachel meets a woman named Chloe and Tom tells her right away to stay away from her. Red flag. I can't even get into all of the red flags without spoiling the book.

Even though I was annoyed to no end, I was invested in this train wreck and I needed to know what was happening and how things were going to go down. It was an attention holding storyline with three unstable characters.

The twist at the end though destroyed me. What the actual....(beep)....picture me with my jaw dropped open mouthing the letters W. T. F.

Sue Watson is an amazing writer and this book was great. Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture Audio for the audiobook to listen and review. Tamsin Kennard was the narrator and did a phenomenal job.
