Overall I did enjoy this book and had to know how it all wrapped up. That being said, I get super hung up on the details and this story had a few WHY DIDNT *this* HAPPEN moments. But if you can overlook those kinds of things then it’s worth reading.

The move into their dream house was a new beginning for Rachael and Tom. But who is this mysterious Chloe, and can she be trusted?
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book from start to finish, with the ending being a particular highlight.

You, Me, Her was my first audiobook that I have actually gotten into and I really enjoyed it!

Rachel and Tom are happily married and about to enjoy their new home with her inheritance money from her dad. They have a four year old little boy, Sam! It doesn’t take very long for things to start getting kind of wild.

I really enjoyed the narrator for this one! She does have an accent fitting to the story, but she ebbs and flows for different characters and usually I could tell who was who. I thought it was a good choice. You do hear each chapter you’re on, which I know not every audiobook does, and I enjoy that.

The entire time I was screaming at Rachel to stop trusting people! She just seems like a kind person who wants friendship and connection, and I felt for her. Rachel has some heavy trauma and that weighs on her through the whole story. She did annoy me at times because she seemed quite protective of her son, yet oblivious to what was going on and was definitely not asking the right questions.

Tom irked me the entire book, and I wanted to shake him.

The beginning felt like a lot of communicated backstory that drug on a bit, and some of the conversations seemed a little over explained, but it was pretty easy to move past. There was one quick intimate scene towards the end of the book, but it was very easy to skip through if you’re not into that. It was very brief.

I did guess the ending almost immediately because I’m an incredibly suspicious person, but it’s a good twist! It ends very abruptly, in my opinion, which I don’t usually love. It did fit well for this story, though.

Overall, I really enjoyed it and it kept me on my toes!!

Just wow! This book kept my attention from the very beginning. I never knew what was true or not throughout the entire book. As soon as I had it figured out - some other twist came out. This book had me guessing until the very last second and I was shattered by the ending...sooo good! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good thriller - it did not disappoint!

A gripping psychological drama about a married couple with a young son who spend an inheritance renovating their ideal home on the coast. Only the arrangement is more ideal for Tom than it is for Rachel, who has to start from scratch to build contacts for her career as a freelance journalist. With no social circle in her new home, Rachel befriends Chloe, a local who knows a bit too much about Tom and the house. This builds up to a gripping pressure cooker of a situation which threatens to tip Rachel over the edge. Tense and atmospheric with an incredible twist after everything appears to have been resolved at the end.

You, Me, Her by Sue Watson and narrated by Tamsin Kennard was so good but that ending pissed me off!! If you like books about secret, lies, betrayal, murder, and a fear of water then you will love this book.

Rachel is married to Tom and they have a little boy named Sam.  Rachel inherited some money after her father’s death. Her father did not like Tom at all so he left everything under her name so Tom couldn’t touch it. Tom decides to buy a house in Cornwall and begins renovations on it. Rachel has to approve all of Tom’s purchases and is irritated because he is pouring all of their money into this house, it renovations, then decides to get rid of the garden and install a pool. Due to a traumatic event in the past due she has a phobia of pools. Every time she brings that up or the fact that he is using all of the money he gaslights her. Tom has perfected the term gas lighting!! Rachel and Sam join Tom at their new house soon after strange things starts to happen and Rachel soon learns that her marriage may not he as perfect as she thought it was.

This audiobook was so good I couldn’t stop listening, I was hooked and finished it in one night. I wasn’t sure who I could trust and who I couldn’t. I figured out pretty early on who the other woman was but for most of the book wasn’t sure I could trust Chloe. Tom was well I have nothing nice to say about him. I loved watching Rachel go from being timid to I’ll figure this out myself since no one wants to believe me!! I enjoyed this book up until the end and then I HATED the ending. Over all a great read I recommend it. I think Tamsin Kennard did an awesome job as a narrator. I found ‘You, Me, Her’ by Sue Watson to be a fast paced and entertaining domestic thriller. I was able to do an immersion read (ebook + audiobook) which I thoroughly enjoyed.

I loved Tamsin Kennard as the narrator. Her voice and accent is so pleasant and she did a wonderful job voicing all of the characters. I don’t think I would have enjoyed the book on its own without the audio.

I did find myself getting frustrated with the female main character, Rachel, due to her continuous poor decision making and inability to see red flags. I would have liked to see her gain more strength and insight as a character as the story progressed.

I also found the story to get a bit repetitive at times and wish the ending would have had a more jaw dropping effect.

Despite my frustration with the FMC and my ability to correctly guess a few things beforehand, I remained entertained and couldn’t stop reading/listening.

This book would be great for thriller fans who are looking for a quick read and who can look past the predictably factor, while still be entertained by a thrilling story.

Such a thrilling listen, I was hooked as soon as I pressed play and knew I had to read until I found out the truth about their marriage.

Gripping. I listened to the audiobook in one sitting. You, Me, Her had just the right amount of creepy for me! I was super impressed with myself that I predicted the big twist fairly early on in the book, but I still absolutely loved the ending!

This book was one I didn't want to put down., one thing after another was happening. I had a feeling about the ending but still thought it was good.

You, Me, Her was a fast paced, quick audio listen. I really wanted to like Rachel, the wife in the story, but I found myself annoyed at her naivety. the other main characters were also quite mediocre; however, I found the story compelling and fast enough to keep going. I also had one of the main twists figured out pretty early, but it was fun listening to see if I was correct and how the author got us there. Overall a good read but not one of my favorite Sue Watson books.

Tamsin Kennard, as always, did a wonderful job with the narration.

I found the story line to be good, but very predictable. The main character was so naïve and weak that I just couldn’t like her. I will not discount this author in the future because the plot had promise, it just didn’t hit for me.

Rachel’s father recently died, leaving her a house. It is perfect timing for her and her husband, Tom, they need a fresh start and to start over since a fatal accident that happened years ago. Rachel is just feeling comfortable after being so isolated while having a baby during Covid. She is giving up the only life that she has known, and her friends by moving to where she might feel safer.
Tom has been renovating the house before Rachel and their son move in, and he has a surprise for them. He has renovated a pool in their backyard but Rachel has a disabling fear of water ever since the incident. But meeting Chloe, an ex co-worker of Tom’s, she soon finds a new friend. Or is Chloe more than just a friend, is she even stable? Chloe soon reveals secrets Rachel might not want to hear.

For fans of The Perfect Marriage and Rock Paper Scissors this is a true fast paced, action packed thriller! I thoroughly enjoyed the joy ride of twists and turns that follow Rachel. This was my first Sue Watson book and I will definitely be adding all her books to my TBR. This is my second audio book narrated by Tamsin Kennard, and as before she sucked me into the story right away making me emotionally connect with the characters.

This book follows Rachel who is married to Tom. They have one son, Sam. Rachel recently came into a lot of money from her dad’s death and Tom has been living elsewhere fixing up their dream home. Rachel and their son are finally able to join Tom at the new house but weird events keep occurring. Rachel has a traumatic experience with pools—and Tom surprises her with a pool at their new house- what a great hubby 😑. Their son Sam keeps seeing weird things in his room and outside. There’s also Chloe who happens to always be near by with secrets of her own.

The book has major Freida McFadden vibes as well as None of This is True. I really enjoyed this story and found myself looking forward to finding out what was next. It had me guessing throughout the book who it could be and I think I changed my mind 100x. I was able to guess that something was up with one of the characters but I wasn’t sure what. It does leave you on WTH moment- which I personally love!

After reading the summary I expected more of a mystery on who the HER and ME were but the wife is the main character of this book. The ME character I thought would have been introduced sooner. The book I read was different than I expected but still good.

There were moments when I got mad at the amount of gaslighting done to Rachel through out this story. I felt for her but did find some of the stories she was convinced to believe to be a bit much.

Lastly, I had no clue going into this about Rachel’s biggest fear, water, pools and drowning. This could be a trigger for some, as it was for me so this may have effected my ability to fully enjoy this book as it was a main theme.

This is the first book I have read from this author and I appreciate the copy from #NetGalley. A story of a husband and wife trying to start over after tragedy and the death of her father. When the father dies, he leaves everything to his daughter but she must be the keeper of all assets. Although this angers the husband, he does all he can to redecorate their new home. Once they move in, strange things happen from the real estate agent and it starts looking like the husband has at least been flirting with the agent. Someone starts to do things the make wife think she is going crazy. Her tragedy turns out to be the drowning of her first child, so when her husband surprises her with a new pool, things start turning darker. Could he have multiple, lovers. Is she really crazy. Although I had kind of figured out who was really responsible, it was still shocking to hear it read to me. Great book, fast paced. Narrator was the perfect one for this story.

This did not quite shock me I would say... I have definitely read better ones to be honest. I found it quite predictable and would not consider it a page-turner...
Furthermore, I could not relate to the main character and felt that the way she and her husband behaved a bit unrealistic.
But the narrator's voice was amazing, I really appreciate that! 😊
I recommend it if you like Sue Watson and enjoy her writing style!

Overall, this title was a fun read. Slow in the beginning, suspenseful build, and a few twists at the end. The main character is clever and thoughtful, her instincts guide her judgement and continues to surprise you as you read. I'm not sure I would have been so level headed in her shoes. The perfect combo of The Hand That Rocks the Cradle and any Freida McFadden novel. Love the reference to the rabbit 💗 A solid 3.5 ⭐️. The only thing I would have loved to see more of was the crazy.

This was a genuinely tense and at times terrifying psychological thriller, and I was constantly trying to predict the outcome. The twists had my heart pounding and I was so invested almost from the get go! This was everything I want from a psychological domestic thriller, and I would absolutely recommend it to lovers of the genre. My only criticism is that I didn’t always love the portrayal of the child in the narrative, as I found him a bit flat and lifeless, more of a pawn than a character in his own right which I don’t tend to love, but that is a minor complaint in comparison to what a fun read this is overall!

An enjoyable roller-coaster thriller. I love Sue’s writing style. She always keeps me hooked right from the beginning.

A story about a married couple moved into a new house. When the wife made a new friend, their lives intertwined. Her husband reminded her this new friend was dangerous.

You Me Her was a great thriller and easy read. The narrator performed very well. I love the way she presented the little boy Sam, especially at the ending.
