I KNEW IT! Finished what felt like the end and thought, hmm, I got that totally wrong but I can see how - well played. Fast forward a bit more of unexpected content and WHAT AN ENDING! Talk about tying it all together at the 11th hour. Very well written. A great unique-ish plot. Enough maybe characters to leave you hanging. Definitely read this!

You Me Her - a domestic thriller. Rachel has relocated with her family next to the sea. With her past haunting her, she tries to overcome her fears for her family’s sake. Soon, Chloe makes an appearance and leaves Rachel with a strange feeling and soon after that her life starts to unravel.

As a whole, I enjoyed You Me Her. A good storyline which kept you guessing about who is telling the truth and makes you change your mind constantly! However, I did find the main character of Rachel infuriating - just open your eyes!

A good page turner (or audiobook!) that I’ll definitely be recommending!

My Opinion

Sue Watson has written another great psychological thriller. I listened to this as an audiobook and I struggled to do anything but listen. You, Me, Her has such a fast pace that will have you on the edge of your seat. From the beginning I had an idea in my head about how this was going to end - there were many twists, some of which I didn't see coming.

Psychological domestic drama that made me question every character’s sanity and trustworthiness. The book is read through Rachel’s POV. Her father died and her inheritance was used to purchase an amazing house at her husband’s insistence. It’s going to take Rachel time to get used to a new town, new house and (unfortunately for Rachel and her past trauma) a new private pool. She has a small support system, but I was suspicious of everyone. The book is mostly mildly suspenseful as things don’t add up. Twists and thrills only occur toward the end. Overall I liked You, Me, Her. Because I suspected every character throughout the book I wasn’t extremely surprised by the end, but again, that’s because I didn’t trust anyone, so no matter how the book ended it was going to be one of the million scenarios I thought up 😆

SO good! This is my second Sue Watson novel and I have thoroughly enjoyed both. The Lodge was my previous Watson book and I highly recommend it, as well as You, Me, Her. This thrilling novel does a great job of throwing the reader a few red herrings to keep one wondering what the truth really is. The author effectively keeps the story engaging, and decently fleshed-out, without bogging it down with overused tropes. The only disappointment is that I accurately guessed one of the twists about 2/3 of the way through the book. Overall, I was impressed with You, Me, Her and I plan on checking out earlier Sue Watson thrillers.

A great psychological thriller with a few unreliable characters, making you wonder who to trust and what is real (my favorite kind of story). It ends pretty abruptly after a big reveal which I liked, and the motives felt believable. Great read.

You (Tom), Me (Rachel), and Her (Chloe) is about a husband and wife who are trying to find normal in their new seaside home. Rachel and her son stay in their small apartment while Tom travels to oversee the construction on their home before moving in. This home was purchased with money from Rachels late father so she wanted to be sure they would be happy there. Rachel immediately had concerns and didn't feel comfortable but she doesn't say anything so she can get a better understanding of her husband Tom. She feels like he has lured her into this house purchase for wants and needs of his own instead of what is best for their family. Once meeting Chloe and befriending her, Rachel is sure it is not all in her head and something is very wrong with her marriage. Her most important priority is to keep her son safe but she feels this is impossible when Tom shows her what he did to what was going to be her beautiful garden. He remodeled it into a swimming pool. The bad thing about that was Rachel was deathly afraid of water/swimming. She immediately got angry but after a bit she came around and agreed to try the pool, and even allow their son to take swimming lessons in it. The feeling that she and possibly her son were in danger escalated over and over again after the feeling like someone was trespassing, things were stolen/moved from her home, and then a fire on her property. Rachel knew she had to figure out what was going on and who was making her life miserable before it was too late.

This is one of the best thrillers I have read to date!! A first read from this author, and I have already ordered other titles. The story kept me on the edge the who time because I wanted to know who it was, and thankfully I never figured it out and was completely shocked at the ending. Fantastic read!

You, Me, Her was an excellent edge of your seat read and the characters were excellently presented by the author. The story is about a couple and their child moving into a new home and community and the way the wife is has lit is done so well it gave me chills. I honestly felt bad in the end for the scapegoat because she didn’t stand a chance when dealing with the bad guys in this story. You will begin to question the people around you after reading this book because even the most innocent people have secrets that can change your life.
Great book and definitely worth reading if you’re a fan of domestic thrillers.

I really enjoyed this book, which I listened to the audio version of.
I kind of knew what was happening during the story, and found myself shouting at Rachel, the main character, and willing her to get a grip!!
I saw the end coming, the twist, but it didn't stop me from enjoying it.
An easy read story, which kept me gripped.
The narrator was good, kept me interested and had the right time.

So thankful to Netgalley and the publisher for this ARC. This book was so scary! Like where you keep waiting for someone to leap out around a corner. Initially, I was annoyed with Rachel because she was so scared of water and really everything. She would make a big deal about something and then still go out for drinks with someone deemed “dangerous”. In the end, there was a dramatic conclusion and one final twist.

I can't wait for someone to turn this into a movie! I'd be first in line. This book is just that good. It's definitely one of Sue Watson's best yet! I listened to the audiobook version in one sitting. I couldn't turn it off, I needed to know what happened next. The narrator was fantastic and really brought the story to life!

Gotta love a marital drama suspense that features a last line twist that makes you gasp out loud. Three people. One marriage. One murder. For a short thriller, I was constantly intrigued. Throughout the novel, I found myself questioning if Rachel and Tom’s marriage will be destroyed by lies…if what Rachel is told actually happens? The narrator executed the audio very well, her emotions were spot on-I felt like I was in the main character’s head.

Thrilling.. this story drew me in and was hard to put down.
I just knew Tom was up to no good!! The twist got me and if I were Rachel I’d have trust issues for a very long time. Reminds me to question everything and trust my gut.

I cannot say enough how much this book thrilled me from start to finish. The twist and turns left me on the edge of me seat the entire time, and THE ENDING is even the biggest plot twist that I didn’t see coming!

When they said unputdownable, they were not lying!!! It was so hard to hit pause when I had to go to work in the morning. This book had me hooked within the first 5 minutes. The audio narration adds to the shocking twists. Every time I thought I knew what was going to happen next, a surprising twists was revealed that kept me guessing until the very end.

There was so much that was good about this audio book. One, the narrator was fantastic. She had the right voice for the text- it was fun to listen to. Also, there were great twists and turns. Everybody really was a suspect.

On the other hand, there were definitely times when it was just too long. Rachel was generally unlikeable, and the many many instances with Chloe got a bit long.

It was definitely a pleasure to read, and I will pick up another by the author.

Despite the synopsis being a bit of a spoiler, this book was full of surprises. This story is fast-paced and entertaining. The main character is quite likable, though I wanted to shake her at times for being blind and naive to every unfortunate situation she encountered.

I definitely recommend this book if you’re looking for a fun, easy, fast-paced read.
