One of my favourite authors, along with one of my favourite narrators.

I had high hopes for this book and it didn't disappoint.

The main character of Rachel was portrayed as a brainless, deluded doormat, however she was meant to be otherwise the book wouldn't have worked as well as it did - the narrator obviously did a great job portraying her as i wanted to scream at the character to open her eyes!!!

Even though i did guess the end twist quite early on - it still kept me hooked with twists and turns throughout the book.

After her father dies during the Covid shutdown, with only a nurse by his side, Rachel receives a large inheritance. She also becomes close with the nurse who comforted her father in his last moments.

With her husband, Tom, recently out of work, they decide to spend most of the money on a house in need of updating outside the city. In spite of Rachel's long-time fear of the water from a past trauma, she wants the family to be able to move near the sea. Tom stays on at the new house to see to the renovations while Rachel returns to their apartment with their son.

Though they've been sharing the various improvements over Facetime, when Rachel and her son arrive to move in, she's astounded to discover that instead of what was once a lush yard, Tom has added a pool. On the same evening, she meets their young attractive estate agent Chloe, who enters the home as if she's spent a lot of time there. What's going on in her new home?

This was a quick and fun read, though I wanted to reach out and shake Rachel more than once! The ending came with minimal surprise. The narration was excellent.

Having read some of the authors books I knew what I let myself into: plenty of twists and deceptions! but this one was a bit too much for me and I constantly felt angry about the characters actions. how could one be that trusting while on the other hand being a responsible person???
By the end I got so mad despite the final revelation!
The animated narration by Tamsin Kennard was very enjoyable

Boy I didn’t see that ending coming. So many twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat the whole time.

I was drawn to this one from the blurb, sadly, that also gave away the whole book. I usually struggle to figure out the ending of thrillers, but this one was kinda obvious. The narrator, however, does a terrific job. She kept me engaged even when I was annoyed with the book.

Must read! This thriller was really good and had me hooked. It had all the twist and turns that I was not expecting. I could not stop listening to this audiobook towards the end. If you love thrillers check this one out

A fast paced thriller with lots of twists and turns.

The narrator Tamsin Kennard made a perfectly good job by making this book even better. I loved her voice and found it easy and enjoyable to listen to the audio version on this book.

The book itself was great, and I found the plot very intriguing.
It made me question my, what I thought, impeccable ability to read people and find out who the bad guy is, and it took me a WHILE to figure it all out.
I can’t really say much without spoiling the entire book, BUT I genuinely recommend You Me Her to every fan of a fast paced psychological thriller.
For all Freida McFadden fans, hop on the train and read this great book by Sue Watson!

Rachel new life on the seaside isn't what she expected it to be. With the estate agent Chole causing trouble, claiming Rachel is in danger and Tom (Rachels husband) saying she is trouble and to stay away. Rachel doesn't know who to believe. When the doubts start to get stronger and strange stuff starts happening she doesn't know who to believe Chole her new sort of friend or her husband Tom. Read to find out who was murdered and who was the killer.

This was such a good audio book, the twist and turns kept you listening and guessing until the very end on who did what and why. If you enjoyed the housemaid you will enjoy this novel.

You, Me, Her is full of unreliable characters. What truth will you believe? That will change as your assumptions are challenged along the way. Rachel moves into her dream house with her loving husband, Tom, and is quite lonely. It is only natural that she succumbs to the charms of new eager friend, Chloe. As Tom’s behaviors push Rachel away, she starts to cling to Chloe, all the while wondering if she can trust either of them! I was able to predict the twist, but the writing was good and I enjoyed the ride! Thank you to Bookoutre and NetGalley for the advanced audio in exchange for my honest review. Rachel & Tom have purchased a big house in Cornwall. Tom has been there for a while overseeing the renovations, while Rachel has been in Manchester with their son, Sam. Finally it's time for them all to be together again, but some people in this town are not too thrilled that Rachel is around.

Whenever we're told the husband is handsome it's not hard to figure out what secrets and lies there might be. What a douche he was. She should've left him when he revealed his big surprise to her. I mean how unsupportive can you be of someones fear? Speaking of that fear ~ took ages to reveal the why after many breadcrumbs throughout.

Can't say I liked any of the characters, even 4 year old Sam got on my nerves a couple of times. I did have the twist figured out, but this author does write an engaging, fast paced story that'll keep you entertained and yelling at Rachel to open her eyes.

Narration notes:
Tamsin is a well seasoned narrator, so no complaints. She really gives each character their own voice.

You, Me, Her is a fast read/listen that draws you in from the very first page. You have Rachel & Tom move from their tiny apartment to a house by the sea after she gets her Dad's inheritance. Rachel has past trauma that affects her and while she's trying to move past it, Tom takes it upon herself to help her get over it. There are so many twists in this book, trauma, lies, betrayal...it's hard to say too much without giving away spoilers. One aspect of it was totally predictable for me but I's still recommend this book. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC!

You Me Her is another absolutely unputdownable psychological thriller by one of my favourite authors of this genre. When a book captivates me right from the very beginning it makes my heart sing . And this book most certainly done that . As soon as I had finished the first few chapters I just knew I was in for a roller coaster of a ride ride with this read . Packed full of deception and lies . I was positive I knew what was going to happen and had the guilty person sussed out about half way through the book but wow was I off track . For me the sign of a really good book is one when I don’t want to lift my head from my kindle as I’m so engrossed and this book certainly was one of those reads . A well deserved 5⭐️ read for me .

I have only read a couple of Sue Watson’s books, but have enjoyed them all! The writing style is great - super face pace and just enough to make you think you have things figured out, but leaving a few options dangling to keep you guessing. Every time I thought I may have it figure out, something new happened that changed my perspective on it. I honestly wouldn’t have guessed the ending at all! Sooooo good!

Another fantastic physiological thriller from Sue Watson. I could have easily listened to this in one sitting but *ugh life* when I wasn’t listening I couldn’t get it out of my mind. Really fast paced, twist after twist and it really does have you second guessing some of the characters. I did guess the final twist but I would still recommended this book to absolutely everyone.

I enjoyed this book. I liked the backdrop and the characters. I loved the hate the baddies. I did call the twists early on but that's fine because I like being proven right. This was a thriller right up my street.

Looking forward to reading more by Watson.

I very much enjoyed this! The narrator was wonderful. I was hooked from the start. I found myself getting frustrated at the female protagonist because I wanted her to drop-kick her husband and because she should have listened to her spidey senses about Chloe. I wasn't sure who the bad guy was throughout much of it and think this will be a big hit for fans of psychological thrillers.

In this story of secrecy and suspicion, three individuals navigate a complex web of relationships. Our narrator, married to Tom, harbors doubts about his honesty and her own secrets. Meanwhile, Chloe, her friend, becomes a point of contention in the marriage, with suspicions arising about Tom's intentions. As tensions escalate, the truth becomes elusive, and the stakes rise as someone's deception, peril, and lethal intentions come to light.


This was a wild ride from start to finish and I think everyone would have benefited from a good therapist.

I listen to the audiobook You, Me, Her by Sue Watson narrated by Tamson Kennard a true narating professional. Miss Watson is one of those authors all I have to do is see she wrote the book and I am in. In this book we meet Rachel she is an older mother and has been living in Manchester while her husband Tom fixed up their new home in Cornwall wile her and their four-year-old son Sam is spending their first night in their new home Tom cannot wait to show her his biggest point of pride and that is the glimmering swimming pool in the backyard. Unfortunately for Rachel it isn’t the Boone Tom thought it would be due to a devastating incident that happened years before Rachel is fearful of water and is baffled as to why he would think this was a good thing. For the benefit of their son she lets it go and tries to settle into life and Cornwall soon after she meets Chloe someone she was already acquainted with through her husband Tom. Although Tom kept telling Rachel to steer clear of Clo he said she was trouble. At first Rachel is happy to have her as a friend and loves that Sam and close “daughter“ Emily get along so well and she misses her friend Rosa so hanging out with Chloe in the beginning is a fun way to pass the time. Soon however Rachel catches her and contradictions and flat out lies add that to all the strange things that have been happening and it just seems like too much for Rachel to handle. It doesn’t help when her son Sam is telling her things she also refuses to believe. Tom emplores Rachel to see closed for the delusional conspiracy theorist that she is when murder comes into the mix however the truth has no place to go but out. By the time everything is said and done gossiping locals and the swimming pool in her backyard will be the least of Rachel‘s problems. Once again I have written a terrible review just know this just proves whenever the book is a great one The review is going to be horrible ID KW this is an awesome book with a mic drop ending that I do honestly believe any thriller fan would definitely love this a great book to bring to the beach to read at night in your bed but just be warned wherever you start it that’s where you’ll be when you finish it as well… It is that freaking good! This story was well paced and even though I knew I still questioned myself at times because the author always gave a little then covered her tracks well.
Great suspense and kept me wanting to listen more.

WOW!!! The author has an incredible gift of writing psychological thrillers…I was just blown away by everything in this book and need to read more by this author. Needless to say I am an instant huge fan!
