In all honesty this was going to be a 3 star read for me as for the most part it was okay, the plot was good but not spectacular and the characters were a bit weird. But then, Teahan throws in the most surprising twist, I was completely blown away and it completely changed the direction of the plot and everything that happened after. It turns out that this has an incredibly dark plot and once this is laid bare it is electrifying and left me speechless. There is so much more to this than I first thought and it turned into a shocking read.
Once the major twist happened I also warmed to the characters more as I could see they played their roles exceptionally well. Stick with this book and you will be rewarded.

Knock Knock is Michelle Teahan’s second novel which follows Sarah, a suburban housewife who has it all; big house, wealthy husband, doting son. Her best friend Maisie lives across the street in their elite four house estate, and their new neighbours Marcus and Gina are getting lots of attention since they moved in. Marcus is handsome, Maisie is besotted, and Sarah isn’t unaware of his longing glances in her direction.

I really enjoyed this book! At the start, I found it difficult to follow whose chapter I was reading but as I got further into the book it made a lot more sense as to why this was. I really enjoyed watching the story unfold and, like @sultanabun , I too found myself highly amused by the antics that took place. This book could absolutely be read in one sitting, whenever I had time to sit down and read it I really loved how I got lost in the story. I loved trying to figure out what was going on, who was who, what people’s intentions were etc.

It was my first book by Michelle Teahan and I’m looking forward to reading Go Seek in the future. This book was so much fun to read. I loved how nobody was who they seemed, and the twists were good - I was genuinely smiling at the end of this when things were wrapped up because I hadn’t been expecting what came to be! There were so many things that I never saw coming and I was very impressed with Michelle’s ability to throw me completely off the scent. A great book, a great summer read, and I’m sure there are more great things to come from Michelle!

Brilliant.
Cowerworth is the picture perfect neighbourhood.
Its manicured lawns and low crime rates make it the ideal place to raise a family. But in a quiet suburb, someone is always watching. And all eyes are on the couple who have just moved in. Marcus and Gina are everything you could want in neighbours: polite and friendly. They seem to be the perfect fit. Except Marcus has a secret. And you're his next victim.
It was brilliant.

Tension Fuelled..
Is anything completely perfect? This neighbourhood certainly seems to be. We all know, however, that appearances can be deceptive and Cowerworth may well be a case in point. Watch your back. Well crafted, menacing suspense with a keenly observed cast of characters and an immersive, tension fuelled plot littered with twists.

Marcus and Gina move to a pretty chill town Cowerworth. Right off the bat, the couple meets their new neighbors Sarah, Keith and their son Dillion. There is an immediate attraction between Marcus and Sarah which leads to a dangerous game of cat and mouse. Everyone has secrets and specifically Marcus has some mind-blowing revelations. No spoilers here, you have to read to find out more!

This storyline is very clever and keeps you hooked! Just as the story goes on the twist and turns will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Quick and entertaining read.

Another great read by Michelle Teahan, I couldn’t put it down needing to find out which psychopath came out on top.

It was the title that got me....

"Knock, Knock"

Well tell me, who's there?

Wouldn't you like to know

This might have been one of the easiest most fluid reads I have read in a long time and I truly enjoyed it from start to finish.

A true thriller that will have you creeping up to the next chapter, shyly.

All expectations were exceeded and although this was my first time reading a book by Michelle Teahan, Im sure it will not be my last!

This is the first book I have read by the author was very excited to have been approved for this as she is a local author and I have heard really good things. I flew through this book as it was quick paced and intriguing & the second half of the book was unputdownable. I will say the twist was shocking and really enjoyed reading this novel & loved the genius plot and will definitely be checking out her other book. Thanks to the publisher, the author and netgalley for this arc.

Blew my mind! One of the best psychological thrillers I have ever read!

Marcus and Gina move into their new house in an affluent suburb, where the neighbours are all close, socialising together and popping in for coffee. Marcus is instantly attracted to their next door neighbour, Sarah, but he doesn’t get his thrills from the affair alone, Marcus is a twisted psychopath.

The first twist rendered me speechless with shock; never in a million years did I expect that and then the author kept throwing the most jaw-dropping curveballs all the way to the epilogue.

The plot is, quite simply, genius!

This has a lot of things going on in the story but it was really good you will want to pay attention to everything. Though I will say you probably will still not see the twists that come.

Absolutely brilliant book from an author I've not read before and now want to read her other book too.

Had me addicted from the very start and I didn't want to put it down but also didn't want it to end. Loved the writing style, was convinced I knew who was talking to the therapist, then thought it was someone else only to find out I was wrong on both and it was someone else entirely! Great book - really enjoyed how the story unfolded and was quite surprised by some of the twists and turns. Would highly recommend this book, read it, you won't be disappointed.

This book was a bit of a slow burner for me. It had an intriguing start but then I found the pace slowed somewhat until the middle third when it picked back up and became a gripping thriller that I couldn’t put down. I would rate it 3.5 stars. Thank you to NetGalley, Headline and the author for the chance to review.
