I read this with my my 5 year old and we absolutely loved this story, such a sweet message about siblings helping and caring for each other in a fun Halloween setting. The illustrations were beautiful and the message was too, I would absolutely recommend.
What happens when animals in the zoo and friendly neighbourhood hippo celebrate Halloween?
I was unaware of Fiona and her friends before, but even without following them on social media, I will be following them via books.
The situations in this book were adorable, imaginative, fun and teaching,
The art style is unique in many ways too.
Great for all festivities, all year round and all ages in my opinion.
My son and I loved this book. We live in Dayton Ohio, so we frequent the Cincinnati Zoo, always with a stop to see Bibi, Tucker, Fiona & Fritz. I love that Fiona's little brother was a main character in a story with such a good message.
Another story about Fiona, our favorite hippo. This time, it tells us about giving encouragement, friendship, and facing fears. Fears can make you cannot move and it is really terrifying for our kids. So, hopefully this book can help them be encouraged.
A sweet and lovely little Halloween book. We thoroughly enjoyed reading through this. My kids really loved it! Fiona helps little brother Fitz on a supposedly scary night and helps him see that the spooky sounds aren’t quite what he is making them out to be!

I always love a good, cute Halloween book! I didn't love this one any less, however I would tweak a few things.
The first thing I would do is give all of the animals proper names. I found it a little odd that only a few animals had actual names while others were just called the animal that they were. The other small change I would make is changing the title to either "Happy Halloween, Fritz!" or "Happy Halloween, Fiona & Fritz!" because most of the book didn't even focus on Fiona that much.
However, overall I thought that this book was great! Amazing mentorship from Fiona and care from both Fritz and Fiona for their new skunk friend. It was very heartwarming and it was perfect to make it a Halloween-themed book.
A cute book about Fiona and her brother Fitz trick or treating around the zoo. It shows Fiona being a good big sister and that example shows Fitz in turn how to be a good friend. A sweet Halloween book that hints at scary but explains the scaries away.
This book is adorable! It is the first Fiona book I have read with my girls (ages 5 and 6), but I will definitely be reading more.
The story is based on a real hippo from the Cincinnati zoo. Fiona’s brother, Fritz has some fears regarding Halloween. Luckily he has his big sister, Fiona, to help him overcome his fears. A must read for all Halloween lovers!
I LOVE FIONA AND FRITZ! I have been following them on Instagram for ages, and I was so excited to see they had made books based on these adorable hippos. Lovely and colorful illustrations and a fun story, you can't go wrong.
I love everything about this book from having Fritz join Fiona, to their little costumes, and all the other animals in the zoo. This book will just delight kids of all ages this fall, and I can't wait to get it into patrons hands. Thank you so much to Zonderkidz-Books and Netgalley for allowing me to read an advance copy of this book.
Another story about the real life hippopotamus, Fiona! This time Fiona and her brother Fritz are getting ready for Halloween.
Fritz is afraid and nervous. I think the things he faces will resonate with kids who experience the same things!
Fiona and her friends encourage him the whole night through. They end up with a lot of treats and a lesson that there was nothing to be afraid of after all.
This is a Children's Book that I read to my twin boys, and this is part of The Fiona the Hippo series. My boys really enjoy the Fiona the Hippo series, and this book was no different. I think this book was a really cute and fun children's book. The pictures are super cute. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.
Fiona the Hippo is the sweetest series of books. The illustrations in this book were absolutely adorable. I loved how Fiona helped her brother Fritz get over his fear of Halloween! This will be such a fun book to read in the Fall.
Cute art featuring a whole array of zoo animals all decked out for Halloween. I especially loved the tiger. ;)
This book is a sweet celebration of Halloween and family.

In ‘Happy Halloween, Fiona’ by Zondervan you follow along Fiona and her brother Fitz in this cute story about being scared on Halloween night. Is Fiona able to help her brother over comes his fears? You will have to read and find out. Richard Cowdrey did a beautiful job with the illustration. My preschooler enjoyed this story and I highly recommend reading this fun and sweet story with your kids.

Fiona, the famous zoo hippo, stars in this delightful picture book series. She is a sweet character who is always wise and loving to the other zoo animals. The stories are always well written and the illustrations so charming. Public libraries are sure to want this Halloween title in their collections.
I highly recommend people enjoy this book with their kids and also show their kids videos of Fiona. Like so many others, I've been following this charismatic sweetie since she was born. This is such a cute little Halloween story! Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this
The latest in the Fiona the hippo series for young readers is pure delight! Big sister Fiona introduces little brother Fritz to all the Halloween festivities at the zoo. Loved the fun tale and colorful illustrations!
