Many thanks to Netgalley and the author for this arc. I received this book in exchange for my honest review. My thoughts are entirely my own.

In this book Jane is a struggling actress who is about to be evicted from her apartment when she is contacted by her agent for a role that could change her life. Colten is a billionaire who needs a wife in order to expand his dating app Love Connection to the Middle East. Jane goes to an audition and she is the only one that Colten wants to have a fake relationship with. Jane and Colten meet and discuss a contract which Jane wants clear rules for what their relationship should be. Colten and Jane start to connect sharing things about themselves that nobody else knows and start to fall in love. Colten gets the contract right before the wedding and doesn’t tell Jane which makes her upset because it reminded her of her past. Jane leaves and Colten sends her an annulment and a contract dis-solvent and does an interview where he admits that the contract with the Middle East won’t be happening and that it was because he met Jane. Jane forgives them and they move to New York for her stint in Broadway.

I loved everything about this book! It wasn’t predictable, it had so many swoon worthy moments and their chemistry was 🔥

Both Jane and Colton have a depth to their characters that you don’t quite see a lot in romcoms and I loved that aspect.

Once, their masks came off the love between them grew and it was so sweet! Now, I’m going back to read the other books from this series 😂

Perfect for fans of:
💍marriage of convenience
💕grumpy/sunshine
💍billionaire heroes
💕forced proximity
💍complicated pasts
💕funny banter
💍closed door/fade to black

This was my second read by Marion De Re in this series , it’s a closed door, clean romance and great fun, it’s quick and a light enjoyable read, I love the dual POV and can’t wait for more

4.5 stars
This is the first book I've read from this author and I found it to be a quick fun read.

Colton is the billionaire CEO and founder of a romance dating app and when he finds his app expansion isn't going so well he finds that's he needs to hire a fake wife.
Jane is a struggling aspiring actress who gets the audition opportunity of her life. After Colton selects her as his new fake wife they begin living together in LA. As with any good grumpy sunshine and fake dating/marriage tropes the close proximity has them shedding their secrets and falling for each other.

This is a closed door, just confined to kisses romance for all those lovers of a tame romance. The chemistry of the characters is very strong though and they are really fun together.
Is it predictable, yes! Is it still a fun, make you happy read, yes!

Colton is a billionaire dating app creator who is trying to break into the Middle East Market but struggling due to his playboy ways
Jane is a struggling actress who got a taste of acting in a play and some commercials but ultimately gets laid off at her restaurant and is about to be evicted out of her apartment.
Colton’s colleague suggests a fake marriage to show potential investors that his values align with theirs and sends out a casting call stating “a pay out of a lifetime”
After seeing all these women “made up” Jane comes in wearing casual clothes and make-up and Colton is immediately entranced. After answering all required questions, Colton wants to offer Jane the job, but will she take it when she realizes it’s a 2 year commitment of faking dating and marriage? He suddenly hopes so…
Colton gives Jane a wing of his house and thinks that they can just live separate lives. Little does he know that after all their little small moments - he can’t picture a life without her.
They share stories of their past and realize they both came up in the Foster system - Luckily Colton found a woman who loved him deeply .. Jane, not so much.

In this Dual POV romance you experience the captivating banter and mutual pining.
In the conclusion of her “For the Love of Rom-Com Series” another standalone - the author keeps you engaged in alternating internal battles and a growing love story that neither of them expected. She keeps you on your toes when arguments arise and the characters create their own road blocks. As always Marion delivers another page turner that I did not want to put down.

This was a really cute, clean romcom about a struggling actor with some baggage who couldn't quite get her career to take off. In her desperation, she agrees to marry a billionaire who offers a marriage of convenience that saves her from financial ruin. As all good books do, they find their happily ever after in the end! It was an enjoyable read, and I'll definitely be reading more of her novels.

I'm going to start off by saying that I am a cat person and the fact that Colton is allergic but was taking steps to be able to tolerate being around Jane's cat is totally swoon worthy. The banter was there also making it even better!

This was a super cute story and an easy read. I was so lucky to have it as an Arc. I read it in 24 hours and loved it. The tropes are on point. Marriage of convenience, forced proximity and he falls first are just the greatest here. I’m a forever fan of Marion De Re. Can’t wait to read more of her books.

This the second book I have read by this writer and I am an absolute fan. I liked the first book a lot but this one went much further for me. The chemistry between the characters and the tempo of the story made it impossible to put down.
.
It's one of those books that doesn't need to go into detail about what happens to feel like it's a good love story.
.
Jane Myers is jobless actress trying to survive on the rough side of Los Angeles and after five years in the city her last hope is an audition with exclusive invitation that a former theater teacher got her.
.
The questions seemed strange until she managed to see the person in charge and she was left speechless. But when they explained to her that the role was to get married to a famous app founder millionaire for two years, things got more suspicious.
.
Colton is grumpy, serious ,dry and incredibly sexy, he shouldn't have a problem getting a volunteer. For estrange and complicated it may also be her last chance to get a job and money to leave town.
.
But as they spend time together they both begin to notice that they are not so different and they both try to leave behind a difficult past.
.
I loved it, I loved Jane and the tough Colton, I loved seeing the characters from other books and meeting new characters. My only complaint could have been the third act of break up, it seemed to me that she was very harsh and he went to the last extreme, but I liked the ending and it left me with the taste of wanting to know what happens with Marcie, the beautiful expectation of the next book
.
Thanks to Marion de Ré for give me a copy of this beautiful book in exchange for my honest and voluntary opinion

This book was everything I needed at the moment and I was hooked right from the start!

I loved Jane and Colton and to see their characters grow and conquer their obstacles while secretly falling for each other was a really great experience.
I love a good marriage of convenience and this was a great one, I also really liked that the third act breakup wasn’t something silly and felt real and believable!

( also as a monopoly lover myself I loved the representation of a fellow monopoly lover😋 )

The only complaint I really have is that I wished it was a little bit longer as I felt the story was a little too fast paced but other than that this was perfect.

I really enjoyed reading from this new to me author and will definitely read more from her in the future!

This book was kindly given to me by netgalley and the author but all my feelings and opinions are my own

Adorable!!! Jane and Colton stole my heart! I love a well written Marriage of Convenience story and this one pulled me in right from the beginning. These two characters are so good and will you have rooting for their story to have a happy ending and that they'll find healing and join in their journey. They just made my heart happy!

There were some ups and downs, as is normal for relationships, but I loved how they worked together and fixed them. Especially when they don't really know each other and find themselves with a marriage contract. Colton is such a gentleman and truly has a heart of gold. I love how he cared for Jane and helped her know she could trust him and turn to him, right from the start.

It was a fun storyline that pulled me in just from reading the synopsis. And I wasn't disappointed at all! I loved it and can't wait to read more books by this author. This was the first book I've read by her. I'd seen several friends reading her books and was so intrigued by the storylines, the covers and my friends' reactions. Well, I'm definitely a fan now! If you're like me, you've seen her books but haven't tried them yet, do yourself a favor and try them!

I honestly had a permagrin while reading this one and just thinking about it now, I'm grinning! So adorable!!!

Content: There are a few bible swears. There is some kissing and the characters share a bed together but it fades to black with no details. I would consider it a clean read and would let my older teens read it.

I received a copy from the author via Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions in the review are my own.

Happy Reading!!!

Absolutely loved the book. The author, Marion De Ré has done an excellent job. The characters are well written. Grumpyxsunshine is one of my favorite tropes and this book does a pretty good job at it. I want to thank the author and NetGalley for giving me an ARC opportunity.

This book was perfect! It was just what I wanted. It is a closed door romance. But it is still so good and the banter is top tier.

This is a sweet, laugh out loud Rom Com that had me hooked straight away. I liked how easy this was to get into and kept me engaged throughout, I didn't want to put it down.

One of my favourite things about this book is how interesting the characters are. Colton and Jane grew on each other and fell in love which helped to navigate their fake relationship and marriage into a real love story.

Thankyou to NetGallery ARC and the publisher for allowing me to read and review my first book by Marion De Ré, it definitely will not be my last now!

This was a very fun marriage-of-convenience contemporary romance. All sexy scenes are fade-to-black but I still felt all the swoons from these two.

Colton needs a wife fast because his business is in trouble. I love that he decides to hire an actress for the role, and I love that the actress was psyched to get paid but also careful. I enjoyed the way this author brought their relationship together from a contractual obligation into real feelings and emotions.

“I don’t want my past to dictate my life. I deserve a shot at happiness, and that’s what I’m choosing.”

Marrying the Billionaire was one of the best “billionaire romances” that I have had the pleasure of reading. I loved the sacrificial love of both Colton and Jane, the sweet banter, and (most importantly) how they were able to meet in the middle and fight their pasts and selfish desires for their HEA.

This book definitely showed that sometimes the best things in life are the ones you never look for in the first place.

🌿 forced proximity
🌿 marriage of convenience
🌿 fake engagement
🌿 sweet, billionaire romance
🌿 hilarious banter
🌿 grumpy x sunshine

Marion De Ré is one of my favorite authors!

Both hide secrets, have built up walls due to their past, yet they need one another. I enjoyed how easily this narrative flowed, as well as Marion's writing style. I enjoyed the entire book! They had a great relationship right away and were the epitome of opposites attract.

Thank you NetGalley and Marion De Ré for the advanced ebook.
