Thank you to Netgalley for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
An important read, I think we are too easy to dismiss many insects as 'creepy crawlies' without understanding the role they play in society. Recommended.

This is as good as a book about insects can be. It is informative and the main theme of the book is the value of insects for nature and humans. It has a positive perspective, arguing and demonstrating that insects and humans can live together, and challenges the common misconceptions about their being viewed as pests. I am an insect lover and I liked this book.

I felt a bit tricked by the cover page and title. I was expecting a book about the insects we find and about them with a lovely colour picture and information about that. Eg this is a ladybird, theres so ? Types , their habitat is ? And we can do this? To help. It's not that. It is very heavyly worded with a little drawing in parts. I did learn a few things but as the writing went on I had to stop reading as this isnt what book I thought I was getting. I wont review online as I didnt fully read it and its not a fair review. Im sure if someone has an in depth passion they will like it
