Emmy Shaw was left heartbroken and struggling financially after being abandoned at the altar.

After running into…. A lot of bad luck…. She reluctantly joins a dating-adventure reality tv show in hopes of winning a life-changing cash prize.

Suddenly, she finds herself stranded in the jungle with nothing but a bathing suit and a backpack. At first, she has doubts about her decision, but everything starts to fall into place when she meets fascinating fellow contestants. It dawns on her that there might be more to gain from this experience than just money.

I absolutely loved this book! Reading it while sick with a cold was the perfect escape. It's a funny, cute, and entertaining story that’s easy to read but hard to put down.

This was totally relatable and such a great summer read. I found myself laughing out loud multiple times and honestly wondering if Emmy was meant to be my best friend.

This was such a fun book. It is perfect for summer. The FMC, Emmy, is down on her luck. She was left at the altar, her food truck is a hot mess of a vehicle, and she got evicted. With nothing to lose and too much to drink, she fills out an application for a reality show. I really liked the other castmates, the adventures and challenges they had in the show. How they started to develop true friendships. I was hooked. Not only was I invested in the relationships, I was into the show. I wanted to know who won and how.

Super cute romantic comedy that has you rooting for the female main character Emmy. As someone who is super klutzy myself I can relate to some of the things she goes through. Sometimes it takes going through some super tough times to be able to understand yourself and your needs better. It is for sure a different twist with most of the story happening while the characters are on a reality TV show. I would love to know what happens to the whole gang next. That would be my only minor critique.
Thank you NetGallery and Julianna Keyes for the opportunity to read this book!

Big Wild Love Adventure was such a fun read. It was quick and easy, and I definitely recommend it as your next beach read. Emmy is a baker fallen on hard times due to a harsh and negative review of her food truck business. She applies to a reality tv dating show on a dare, hoping to redeem herself and her business, and really isn't concerned with finding love. No spoilers here, but the challenges were fun to read. The book stays pretty clean. No smut or indecent scenes... just a fun and sweet romance novel. Author does a nice job of wrapping up everyone's storyline, and I was very pleased with ending.

I might be biased here because I’m a big love island fan, but I found this book to be so, so charming. It took me a while to get into it and be invested in the characters (it’s sort of a big cast to get a handle on and care about), but once I got 100 or so pages in, I was into it.

Great setting, fun concept, and a light summer read. Four stars!

Emmy is a young, burnt-out pastry baker and food truck owner. At the urging of her assistant, she goes on an extreme reality show to win money for her business. The show gives her a chance to take a break from the unhappy dumpster fire her life has become, and she surprises herself by having fun while she's there. It was hard to guess right off the bat who the love interest is but it becomes clear as the story goes on. And Emmy gets her HEA after some predictable shenanigans. I enjoyed this one, the supporting characters were believably written with enough depth to make them memorable. And the author's comedic voice was a treat, I had literal LOL moments. (Which I really needed, thanks Ms. Keyes!) This is a fun read, perfect for the summer or anytime you find yourself in need of something light and refreshing. This is a new-to-me author and I'd definitely read her again.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing an eARC of this book, this is my honest and objective review.

this was a very entertaining rom com. I didn't want to put it down. Lots of characters to keep track of but it is a reality show so this should be expected. The romance was almost an after thought here. It was more on Emmy's journey to move on from her dumpster fire of a life at the moment. I would recommend if you enjoy reality TV shows.

Cute story. I loved the chemistry between Wes and Emmy. Especially when they were finally able to do some challenges together. I loved the added humor like her crude clothes and I also loved the character growth like Tad. I do wish we got a little more at the end because I wanted to know more about their rekindling. Overall I enjoyed this book a lot.

I absolutely adored this book! It was the perfect kick off to summer; a goofy, fun, swoon-worthy escape that had me cheering and rooting for all of the characters, especially Emmy!

The reality tv pretense was so much fun - it combined my guilty tv pleasure with my guilty chick-lit pleasure in a way that was fresh and intriguing. But it was great that the book broke some of the reality tv stereotypes and gave substance to the characters, paving a way for a possibility of a lasting love story.

Emmy was a great protagonist- she’s a little bit flawed, but smart and strong and relatable. I love how she sees the good in everyone! The other host of characters were (at first) a little hard to keep track of, but I feel like that reflected the experience of reality tv shows when there are just so many people you have to get to know them a bit before they become memorable. In the end, they had become real people to me and I was surprised by some of them that I had misjudged early on.

I have already been recommending this one to my sisters, coworkers, and book nerd friends. It’s one of my new favorite summer romances.

If you are a fan of reality television competition shows such as survivor and/or the bachelor this book will be right up your alley. As someone who is a huge survivor fan this was an exciting book to find. Our FMC is having a a hard time in her life with her being left at the alter and her food truck business failing. She decides its time for a new adventure and goes on this reality show. This book overall is an easy fun beach read that has a couple of flaws such as Wes the MMC lacking maturity and depth and the story did not delve into how our characters would be in a relationship after the story was over.

The story follows Emmy, a talented baker left at the altar less than a year ago, struggling to keep her small business afloat. Her assistant suggests that money is the key to saving her business and proposes applying for the reality TV show "Big Wild Love Adventure," which could provide advertising and a cash prize. Despite her skepticism and with some liquid courage, Emmy applies and surprisingly gets accepted. The show offers her not only a chance to win money but also a shot at love. The story is full of entertaining twists and turns, and it includes meaningful character development, particularly Emmy's journey of self-discovery. The romance is a slow burn, with the focus more on Emmy's personal growth, making her a relatable and rootable heroine. Overall, the book is an exciting and satisfying summer read with a balance of fun and substance.

I have not read a proper RomCom that has made me laugh out loud and ignore the outside world in a long time.
Big Wild Love Adventure is for everyone who loves a good-bad dating, but not dating, tv shows. The way Emmy's story was outlined before going onto the show had me absolutely rooting for her. With some authors, the details are what kill the storyline. The details in this book absolutely make the story!!! Even you won't see some of the twists at the end of the show.
Just read the book. It's a very easy read with perfectly short chapters to give you the chance to take a break (even though you won't want to!!!!!).
Here's to hoping there is a merch site out there somewhere selling Emmy's BWLA outfits.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Everyone needs to run out and grab this, today!!!

This book was such a good time. I would compare it to a mix of Bridesmaids and Survivor. I loved the slow burn romance that kept me guessing for a good portion of the book. This has so many tropes I love. Fake Dating, Forced Proximity, Slow Burn, Friends to Lovers, Summer Romance, Love Triangle, and I’m sure more I’ve missed. It truly has it all and I loved every minute of my time reading this book. I will definitely be keeping my eye on this new to me author in the future.

A funny, light summertime read. Emmy and her unlucky life are super relatable and easy to follow. The show in the book is Love Island meets Too Hot To Handle, so if you’re a fan of that kind of reality show then I think you’ll love this

Big Wild Love Adventure, follows our FMC Emmy whose life is basically A Series of Unfortunate Events. She decided to get drunk one night and apply to a new dating reality show that is a mix between Love Island and Too Hot Too Handle. There she meets a very colorful cast of characters and a boy named Wes who catches her eye. Honestly, I really enjoyed this book. I haven't had this much fun with reading a book in a long time. There are so many things that I loved about this book. The side characters were great. The running jokes. (She's unemployed, my assistant packed my bag, the internal clock). The love story itself was also very cute and well done. Felt like it went at a solid pace and I found myself anticipating when Wes and Emmy would finally be together. The pay off was worth the wait. I hope this turns into a series. I would love to read more about all these characters again.

I absolutely adored this book! I fell in love with the characters, I was consumed by the story and I truly could not put it down. 5 big stars!

I didn't think I would love this book as much as I did because dating shows aren't really my thing but this book made me see them in a new light.

I loved Emmy so much, I was honestly feeling so bad for her in the beginning. We see a lot of new faces after she goes on the show, the characters themselves & the friendship/relationship dynamics that developed was amazing to see.

As a lover of drama, I enjoyed this too much. I was SO invested in all of it. The challenges & twists kept me on the edge of my seat. It was also so hilarious. What Emmy-Wes, also Paige-Alex did for each other when they had to do something kind for each other was so cute🥺

I loved the short chapters. The word 'promptly' was promptly overused though.

Thank you to the author, publisher & netgalley for the copy in exchange for an honest review.
