I received this book to give an honest review.
I have been waiting for this new arc in the series! Viper and Ella are a wonderful couple. I love how there is such balance in their relationship. It’s not a constant push pull for dominance or control.
Viper is the leader of the black saints (fitting name), and is great about being in charge, while knowing when and how to delegate. He’s dealing with a curse from his fall, but handles it with a hard earned ease, by being with Ella.
Ella is one of my favorite kind of female characters. Confident, without being in your face about it. She doesn’t need to constantly push for control, and handles change with ease.
Definitely a book you want to read! Can’t wait to see what’s next!

I Absolutely Loved Viper and Ella so much and another amazing book written By Suzanne wright. It did not disappoint I love the dark in you novel series so much!!! You will Absolutely love Viper and Ella their story is Amazing and Beautiful!!!

I have loved everything Suzanne Wright has written. She always has the check list of everything I want in a book. One of the best paranormal authors. Always has strong female characters and incredible banter between the characters.

I absolutely adore The Dark In You Series and this book was no exception.
I have been intrigued by Ella and Viper since they were introduced in previous books.
Suzanne did not let me down with them.
The story is absolutely amazing.
I literally could not put it down at all !
If I could rate this more than 5 stars, I would!

Viper is a fallen Angel, now leader of a motorcycle pack of other fallen angels. He is pure alpha, if he hates it’s strong and vengeful, if he loves he’s all in, strong and protective.
Everleigh was his soulmate but killed by celestial archangels to punish Viper for falling in love , now reincarnated as Ella but not remembering her previous existence she has very strong deep feelings whenever she sees Viper, he makes it obvious about how he feels about her but not telling her their shared history. Their bond is as strong as ever but forces are trying to separate them again.
An absolutely cracking story with scenes of love and dull on battles being so descriptive you feel you’re in the middle of all the action.
Great to reconnect with some old characters especially the scene stealing ‘Lou’ who remains hilariously bonkers.
A brilliant addition to the Dark in You series.
My thanks to net galley and publisher for the opportunity to review this book honestly.

This is book ten in The Dark in You series. While this book can be read on its own, I'd recommend reading the series in order so you have a general understanding of a lot of the side characters and the world.
This book focuses on Viper and Ella. We have seen Ella pop up in previous books but she is very much a peripheral character. We've just recently learned about Viper and his group of motorcycle riding fallen angels but there isn't much known about them.
I will say I never felt very invested in the story. I enjoyed it and the characters and learning about new demons and aspects of the world that Wright has created but I was never particularly worried or stressed with how things would work out. There are several large reveals in the book but the reader learns about them early on and by they time they are brought to light for all the characters it didn't seem to be a big deal. My feeling may have to do with the use of past lives as I didn't really feel much of a connection between Viper and Ella. He was essentially her stalker and when she learned about that, she was fine with it cause he knew her in a past life and was looking out for her best interests.
Excuse me, what? That's not okay!
That said I didn't dislike Viper. I felt that most of the book was from his perspective so the reader can understand all his thoughts and reasonings but even with that, I wasn't that invested. There wasn't much build up or drama between the couple which is nice but didn't seem realistic within the bounds of this story and all the large revelations. All the drama had to do with outside influences and the couple just kept bouncing along like nothing was dramatic or interesting with how their relationship began.
Overall I didn't really jive with this story but I do generally love Wrights books and I will keep reading everything she publishes.

I finished this in one sitting it was so intriguing and I love this new world that Suzanne Wright built so intricately. The chemistry between the Ella and Viper is palpable, adding depth to the story. Also, I loved the glimpses into their past lives I wish we got a flashback on how they originally got together.

I loved this book, I have been waiting for Viper's and Ella's story for a while and it did not disappoint. It has the humor that I have come to expect in Suzanne's books and I finished the book within a day.

Another Suzanne Wright master piece. The perfect combination of snark and steam that only Suzanne can produce the latest installment of this series is as amazing as I hoped.
I loved the back story and it wasn’t even remotely what I thought it would be in the best possible way.

Thank you to Netgalley and the Little, Brown Book group for providing me with an arc of this book.
I have loved Suzanne's books since the first burn book, I've read all of her books in the series plus the favour series and devils cradle, I'm now going back to read all her other series as well. Her writing is just sooo good and has enough detail without it feeling too descriptive.
I had no idea what to expect from Viper and Ella as we've only had snippets of them both in the previous book, and tbh when Ella was first introduced I thought she would be Levi's love interest. However, when we met Viper in Rainis book I knew he was going to be a great character and I just fell in love with him.
Their story is so different to the previous ones we've seen and I loved it. Viper was so different to the other males we've seen in her previous books but also had the best qualities of the men before being unapologetically protective and obsessed with his woman and let me tell you he's OBSESSED! At the same time he allowed Ella to be who she was and never made her feel weak or beneath him, he would literally do anything for her and I honestly just love him.
Ella was such a good female lead, she was strong, protective of those around her and funny, and I loved seeing how powerful she was and all her abilities. She was also very different to the previous females in the series but I think that's why it was so good, we got to see the different abilities people have in this world and that everyone has different strengths.
I don't want to say any spoilers but their story is intense and there's so much to unpack. Once Ella stops fighting her attraction for Viper their chemistry is off the charts, they were so hot and their dynamic is amazing, they work so well together and I just love them both. Really hope to see more of them in future books.
My favourite thing what Suzanne wright does is she makes the side characters so interesting and hot that you can't help but want to read their books, let me just say Luka better get a book and it better be the next one, I don't think I could wait too long for his book or I'll cry! I can already tell he'll be up there with Knox and Maddox for me.

I HAVE BEEN WAITING!!!!
SO NOT SO PATIENTLY. Suzanne kills me with the one year waits between releases.
I have religiously followed this series since book one. I've followed her since Here Be Sexist Vampires. YEARS. At this point it's a marriage not a committed relationship. Quite frankly it's the least problematic relationship I've ever had.
So we finally have Viper and oh my it was not what I was expecting. I mean some things are of course. If you've read Suzanne then you know her style. Don't expect different. That would be stupid on your part. However Ella and Vipers story?..... It went places I did not anticipate.
Viper is everything and more... I would go as far as saying he may just be my favourite.. GASP!!!! Nothing could steal Knox and Maddox but Viper is a different breed ALLTOGETHER.
Viper is COMMITTED. My man proved himself time and time again being a loyal stan and keeping his shit together. He was protective without discrediting Ella's ability to protect herself. He stood for what he believed in and didn't try to justify himself. He was sneaky and cunning with a smidge of well placed arrogance. Man he had me swooning. Oh he was totally obsessed with Ella in all the best ways.
Ella was made for Viper. She's smart, independent and loyal. She is someone that doesn't require many people around her but has the respect of many. She's courageous, patient and willing to hear people out. I wouldn't say her personality is subdued but it is definitely not in your face either she is just on of them chill heroines who questions but knows when to/not to push. She reminded me of a quirky mix of Harper and Raini but uniquely herself. - yes I'm aware that's an oxymoron but it makes sense in my mind.
These two had me in a CHOKEHOLD. From the beginning you're thrust into the past finding some very interesting revelations and the shit continues to unfold from that point forth. Viper's stalking behaviours. ABSOLUTLEY. YES MA'AM. I WAS HERE FOR IT. The possessiveness. DELIGHTFUL. Ella trying to deny the undeniable in the beginning.. HERE FOR IT. YOU TRIED GURL. Not for long though because one intense sniff and all sorts of shenanigans are happening.
Their chemistry is DELICIOUS. The connection UNMATCHED. Their story... one that stands the test of time. THAT IS ALL.
Suzanne delved deep into the character arc here because lordyyyyyyy there was ALOT. I loved it. they were perfection. Then you factor in the side characters... the world development?!!!!! EXQUEEEEZE ME?! LORD ABOVE SAVE ME FROM OBSESSING OVER MORE SIDE CHRACTERS.
LUKA!!!!!! SIR!!!!! GIMMEEEEEEEEEE. RIGHT FUCKING NOW.
So the side character... Interesting bunch. I'm very interested to know more. Also they gave so much in the story. Plus a little MC action.... puleeeeese. I cannot.
This quite frankly was too much excitement for one book. But it was everything I needed. It's very Suzanne but with excitement of something new like we felt with Burn and then again with Maddox.
I laughed, swooned, sweated, ranted and raved. Now I am very devastated to have to wait a whole damn year for the next.
THAT IS ALL.
I will come back with links upon release.

As always, Suzanne grabs you and holds you until the story is finished! Viper and Ella's story is SO GOOD! He's looking for the reincarnation of his lost love that his angel "friends" took from him and she's just living her life and trying to deal with a stalker. His obsession with Ella is what dreams are made of 😍. The SCENES in this one are 🥵.
Also, I hope we get a book for her anchor because I LOVE a good mafia man. ❤️❤️
Thank you Suzanne!!!
#Viper #NetGalley

Viper has waited a long time to claim Ella. He has slowly been integrating himself into her life, but unfortunately, those who separated them decades ago are back to remove Ella from his life permanently.
As always a great read. New characters introduced that I hope we see stories for - Viper's brothers and most especially Luca Belinsky, Ella's anchor. Lou makes his usual wacky appearance.

Wright can do no wrong in my eyes. I loved the way their relationship developed as it was a lot of fun to watch it unfold on the page. I’m eagerly waiting for the next instalment already.

Viper blew me away!!! Suzanne swept me away with her tale of fallen angels and demons. Swoon!! Viper is the perfect fallen angel. He went after what he wanted no hesitation at all. I loved that this book had a pregnancy early on versus as in the epilogue it made their struggle all the more real to fight for what they have.
I can’t say enough good things about this story!!!

This book reaffirms why Suzanne Wright is such an amazing author. She possesses a remarkable talent for captivating her readers and maintaining their interest throughout the story. Viper and Ella easily rank among my favourite characters in this series, although I did find myself longing for the earlier volumes of this series.
Within the pages of this series, the author masterfully weaves together a diverse array of supernatural beings—demons, angels, and a plethora of others, some familiar and others entirely new.

Viper and Ella have to be my favorite characters since Knox and Harper in this series. Demons, angels, pretty much every supernatural creature you can think of and some you have never heard of all feature in some way in her book series. So if you’re looking for supernatural ✔️ spicy 🥵 ✔️ great character development ✔️ in ways you’ve never encountered before this book and author is for you.

4.25/5 stars! This was a little tasty snack of a story in the Dark in You world. I've been devouring this series as it combines PNR with a real-world setting. I'm also a sucker for demon storylines. This is the 10th book in the series with no signs of slowing down. I enjoyed our MMC and FMC, but did find myself longing for the early books at points. Not quite as delightful as the OGs, but still a delicious read.
I received an advance review copy for free through NetGalley, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I'm amazed by Ella and Viper's story! Finally!
Such a great story for Ella and Viper, I love Suzanne's take on celestial beings as well as demons.
Ella and Viper's story has been long awaited! Love Viper's possessiveness and Ella's way of adapting to anything new.
Their story and Viper's background had me glued to the pages.
Truly recommend if you like an amazing world building, with spicy romance and alpha male who's possessive and protective of their mate.
