Thank you for the opportunity to read this book! I have Chronic Pain and Inflammation so got quite a lot of things I needed to hear. Will recommend to friends, family and my CF network!
The thirteen chapters in this book are worth their weight in gold! This is the book I (or rather my body!) has been waiting for!
It would be hard to miss the buzz around gut health / the role of microbiome that has been having a moment in recent years, but this book utterly demystifies this, and all things health and fitness related!
It is so refreshing to read a book that makes such sense for those of us looking to beat the bulge without promoting calorie restriction or a gruelling fitness regime. To reap health and fat-burning benefits, this book (amongst other complimentary suggestions), challenges us to eat 30 different plant based food a week. Recipes are shared, as are meal plans and exercise plans (all of which seem manageable rather than gruelling). This book is the ultimate in handholding to better health. The balance of information/education to practical advice is 100% on point. I would 100% recommend this book to anybody and everybody - it is So readable and accessible - definitely a game changer in this genre!

I cannot speak for the advice about fat, inflammation and body image, but the recipes in this book are highly healthy and cool.
I requested this book because I am always thirsty for more knowledge and like to read in different genres, styles and topics to explore what it out there. This is a generally well-meaning and well-written book. And I particularly liked the advice incorporating exercise into this mix of life style changes, and that the focus was on health and wellbeing than the looks.
