This story gave me all the feels…. Happiness, sadness, hopefulness, and more. Beck and Torran are perfect. And perfect for each other. They both just have to push through past hurts to get there. Beck most definitely hasn’t had it easy but once he bought his old house back and helped repair it and have Tor back in his life you could tell that was exactly what he needed. Tor needed it too. She need to move past the past hurts caused by Beck, her father, the town. It was hard for her but once she did, she found her happiness! Piper Beck’s sister has a long way to go but I sure hope there is more to her story. And of course Tessa and Manny and the girls. I truly hope we have another story about them!
You will laugh and cry during this book. Some sad tears and happy ones!!

Amy True introduces readers to the small town of Ivy Falls in the first book of the series. Torran and Beck were childhood sweethearts; life events separated them at the age of 17. Ten years later they reunited back in Ivy Falls and the sparks began flying. But both Torran and Beck experienced loss and grief since they'd last been together. Is their love strong enough to move forward in life together?

The setting immediately reminded me of Gilmore Girls and in the author notes she shared the show was an inspiration! I always enjoy a dual point of view format and in this book both characters were so strong. The supporting characters were all so unique with their own stories, I can easily see how this will become a series. While heavy topics were discussed--trauma, addiction, and loss, the book overall was light and full of hope.

Thanks to NetGalley, I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

3/5
It's a nice read that showcases two people with a past and how they come together. I just felt some parts didn't feel genuine or authentic. It was a good story overall, but I'm not sure it's one I would reread.

In the picturesque town of Ivy Falls, Torran pours her heart into restoring historic homes, striving to preserve the town's unique character. Love is the last thing on her mind until her childhood love, Beck, reappears and snatches her dream house at auction. He shattered her heart once before—can she ever trust him again?

For Beck, Ivy Falls evokes painful memories and unresolved grief. His abrupt departure wounded Torran deeply, but there are secrets she doesn't know. Returning to Ivy Falls was never part of his plan, yet here he is, bidding on the home he left behind. Despite his lingering feelings for Torran, Ivy Falls symbolises his past, one he's struggled to escape. Can he confront his demons and carve out a new path with Torran by his side?

"Meet Me in Ivy Falls" is a stunning debut, skillfully written with a narrative that takes you on an emotional rollercoaster, breaking your heart before expertly piecing it back together. The romance between Terran and Beck is flawless, their chemistry leaping off the pages and charming you completely. Overall, this book is a delightful debut that leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy, captivating you with its sheer loveliness.

Thank you so much to NetGalley, Canelo, and the author, Amy True, for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest and fair review.
