Another lovely story from SW. I would have liked a little more spice in the romance but I decided to ignore that omission and simply enjoy the travel, the culture and the emotional journey of the hero and heroine.
The summary of this book doesn’t do it justice. This romance is full of life, and of adventure, it flits across countries and gives Darcy and Arturo a ball of a time. The couple are both great. They are kind and lively with good and fascinating jobs. I got properly invested in them and their entourage, and the ending is absolutely the cutest ever.
Another classic Mills and boon romance story. Loved the way loss and grief was dealt with and the bucket list idea was great. No steamy scenes unfortunately for me but that would suit some.
Slow dance with the Italian is a steamy romance novel by Scarlet Wilson.
I really enjoyed this romance novel. It was easy to follow and had a great cast of characters. I binge read it in a day. As to be expected from a Mills and Boon novel it was full of spice 💋🌶️. A brilliant novel that I highly recommend. I can't wait to read more by the author.
❤️ Thank you to Mills and Boon, netgalley and the author for my arc ebook copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
Slow Dance With The Italian by Scarlet Wilson

In “Slow Dance With The Italian,” Darcy is thrust beyond her comfort zone when she receives a bucket list from her late sister, pushing her to attend a dance class where she meets the charismatic Arturo. Despite the weight of his own losses, there's an undeniable connection between them. When Darcy finds herself grappling with a lively puppy, Arturo steps in with assistance. While falling for the pup is effortless, can she summon the courage to open her guarded heart to Arturo too?
The first installment of Kate and Scarlet's duet, "Life-Changing List," is simply breathtaking. It's a poignant tale of love, loss, grief, and the journey to rediscover life's joys. Five years after the passing of her beloved sister Laura, Darcy embarks on a poignant mission, assigning her sisters Darcy and Felicity (Fizz) with a bucket list to honor Laura's memory.
Darcy's encounter with the charming and debonair Arturo at a dance class sets the stage for an unforgettable journey. Arturo, eager to master dance for his sister's wedding, forms a close bond with Darcy. Their adventures lead them to spend twenty-four magical hours in the enchanting city of Rome, where their burgeoning feelings for each other begin to bloom.
Witnessing their love story unfold against the backdrop of Edinburgh and Rome was a true delight. The vivid descriptions transported me, allowing me to relive the awe-inspiring sights of Rome, from the Trevi Fountain to the Colosseum, as if experiencing them for the first time.
I was deeply moved by the struggles Darcy and Arturo faced in acknowledging their growing affection, hindered by their respective backgrounds. Yet, their journey was beautifully depicted, resonating with authenticity and emotional depth.
This beautifully crafted narrative leaves an indelible mark, and I eagerly anticipate Fizz's story, certain it will be just as captivating as Darcy's.
Thank you so much to NetGalley, Mills & Boon, and the author, Scarlet Wilson, for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest and fair review.
