I liked this book. A good lesson in life for even the littlest of children. Good pictures with a story that teaches a lesson without forcing it.
Princess Abby and the Frog by Cassie Fletcher is a cute modern take on the classic tale of The Princess and the Frog. In the story, Abby, a spoiled princess, learns the importance of empathy and kindness when a frog saves her prized possession. The author’s storytelling is engaging, and the message about the value of selflessness resonates beautifully. What I enjoyed most about this book was the way it teaches children important life lessons through an entertaining narrative, making it a joy to read for both kids and adults alike.

It takes the classic tale we all know and love and gives it a fresh, modern twist that'll leave you grinning from ear to ear. Abby's journey from spoiled princess to compassionate soul is so heartwarming, and the illustrations? Oh, they're just as magical as the story itself! If you want a book that'll make you laugh, tug at your heartstrings, and leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside, then this is the one for you! 🐸✨
This is a great story about helping others and building friendships. The illustrations are wonderful and complement the story.
A really lovely story about Princess Abby who starts out a little spoiled but learns to be kinder and more caring of others. I loved the illustrations and the book has a great message. Can't wait to read this with my niece
This is a cute take on the fairy tale! My little one enjoyed the story and loved looking at the pictures,
Such a cute book. My little girl is in love with princess's and being a princess so this book with its beautiful and powerful message was a huge hit for my daughter. We both enjoyed the story at bed time though she has now asked for a frog haha
Princess Abby and the Frog follows Abby who is a spoiled and selfish princess. One day she was playing with her ball when it went into the well, and she met a frog who wanted to help her get her ball back. At first, Abby does not want to help the frog in return, but she eventually agrees. Throughout the rest of the book, she learns what it means to be a good princess and helps the townspeople in the process. The illustrations are cute, and the book has a great message of being kind to others.
My daughter loves this Disney movie and so it was super cute to surprise her with this book for bedtime. The illustrations were absolutely precious for this book! The character was darling and the story was so fun.
This is lovely - a real modern day fairy tale complete with frog and princess. The frog gets the princess to think differently about food wastage and clothing and not being so spoilt. The book does this in a humorous way, with great pictures (especially of the cheeky frog) and a good use of bold font to help the adult reading alongside shout out the key words! The book bounces along and doesn’t preach but does wake a child up to the impact of what they do and how they behave.
