WOW WOW WOW I absolutely loved this book. Rona has definitely excelled with this one. The characters are brilliant and the twists you would never off guessed x I love all of Rona Halsall books but I have to say this has to be my new favourite one x brilliant book can't wait for the next one x

Anna is bereft at the death of her husband following surgery, she makes it her mission to attract and take revenge on the
surgeon she blames for her husbands death .
But as Anna and Theo cement their relationship odd things start to happen to Anna..
This is an up all night thriller, twists a plenty, great pace, loved it!

Full disclosure: I requested this book thinking it was by the same author of the other 'The Honeymoon' book I head read for a book club. However, it worked out in my favor as it turned into a quite decent and thrilling read. I am now looking forward to reading other books by Rona. New publishers but still an amazing Rona who never disappoints. This book starts off as a book of revenge following the death of her fiancé at the hands of a negligent surgeon. When Anna reinvents herself to attract Theo she sets out to destroy her life but as she starts having strange things happen to her she starts to fear she may be in too deep and can’t trust anyone. Is revenge a dish best served cold!

This author's books are always incredible thrilling reads and I sometimes wonder how it'ss possible to keep writing such gems. It's no doubt a gift because I really could not pull this off even if I tried a million times.

And yes, she delivers again. She treats her readers to another enthralling story. 

I felt for Anna and I totally understood how she felt. The frustration, the helplessness, the feeling like you are fighting against a giant and you can never win, because they close ranks and you are left in the cold.

She started with a plan, but will she achieve the result she set out for?

A very enjoyable read I could not put down before I had read the last word with a leading lady who fights, literally and figuratively, with everything she has in her and for what she believes in.  5 stars

Having read other books by this author I knew the fiance would be a delightful tale which it was I throughly enjoyed the characters and the premise and can highly recommend this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

He killed my husband. Now I’ve promised to be his wife. After my first husband died, I thought my heart was completely broken, and that I’d never feel happy again! Good book! I definitely enjoyed reading this one! This book has suspense, intrigue, murder, mystery, revenge, a fantastic who done it and some jaw dropping twists and turns! The storyline was very interesting and kept me glued to my kindle! I definitely recommend reading this book! Thank you Netgally and the publisher for sharing this book with me!

This whole entire book would not have happened if Theo would just have made his facebook page private. Has anyone else thought about that? Theo is a surgeon and responsible for Anna's husband, Ollie's death. I also find it hard to believe that the hospital or something would not have to compensate the family for leaving medical objects in one after surgery. Super unrealistic to me. Anna gets herself in shape to meet Theo at the gym. She plans to ruin his life, the way he did to hers. But the joke is on her! His kids are out to get her. Her place is broke into. Videos of her show up on the gym's website. She looks into why Theo's wife is actually dead and then her life really spirals out of control. I don't know. It started out good but then it got slow for me until the very end. can't say that I really cared for this one.

The Fiance by Rona Halsall is another binge-worthy and completely immersive tale from this not to be missed author.

Celebrating their anniversary, Anna and Ollie cannot be happier as they look forward to a very long future together. But a medical emergency will alter that happily ever after in the blink of an eye, leaving Anna to mourn and, quite darkly, plot revenge on the person responsible for her husband's untimely death. I will not say more for fear of spoilers, but let it suffice to say that you will not want to miss this one. 4.5 stars

This was one of those book where you need to make sure your free for a few hours cause once you start you won’t be able to put it down. It was such a unique storyline which I don’t think has been done very much. It was extremely well written with a main character you can’t help but love you can actually feel her anguish throughout. I loved the many twists and turns throughout and wow the ending was amazing. Overall a fantastic thriller from this author. Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this excellent book.

Very hard to put down thriller about a woman with very interesting taste in men and a propensity to marry tragedy and scandal!

Yet another great unique story from this talented author
‘The Fiancé’ is a story of revenge, revenge as a dish best served cold, revenge in a cold, calculating planned way, yet revenge the perpetrator ( and maybe the reader ) feels is justified…..it has taken careful planning and now is ready to be actioned
Of course though things never go quite as planned as it turns out to be way way more than a revenge plot when other people get involved and lives start to fracture
Great believable characters, a concrete set story that is believable and some good red herrings made this a tense, dark, exciting and well written read that kept me reading non stop as wanted to know exactly how it would end, and would revenge be successful or had it caused even more problems
