This is a sweet novel for anybody looking for something cozy, light, and breezy with a touch of humor. The story follows Jodi, a podiatrist in Boca Raton, as she heads to the Berkshires to spend time with her granddaughter.

I'm not sure if this is the book for me personally, as it's outside the genre and styles I usually read, but I think many people will really enjoy it. Even though it might not be my usual pick, I still found myself charmed by the little world that the author built for her characters.

I enjoyed what was almost an all-female cast, with the exception of the main character's husband (who mostly appears over the phone). Overall, I found the characterization very strong, with the exception of the granddaughter Callie. I would have like to see a bit more uniqueness from her, but it was clear that she had a lot of love for her grandmother.

This would make a perfect stress-free read for anyone who wants to laugh while getting to know some eccentric ladies. The themes of Independence, family, tolerance, and following your dreams caused me to reflect on my own life. I received an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
