This book was gripping and hard to put down. It didn't feel like everything else you see out there, it felt very fresh. I really enjoyed this book!

When Child Prodigy Oliver goes to feed Elspeth's cat, it's not there. He reports it to the Police and gives them the description and details of the car he sees leaving, but they ignore him. When Baby Ben goes missing they step up, but Oliver is sure the two things are connected. He decides to investigate himself.
There is a lot that Oliver hasn't told the Police, mainly because it's private and also that he knows they won't believe him.
A tale of some very strange characters, but very enjoyable.

I quite liked the three main characters - Lin, Morgan and Ollie - being eccentric and outspoken in their own personal ways. However, there were quite a bit of characters to take in. And I marveled at some of the other people in this story, their behavior... their lack of understanding and yet unexpected empathy, all of them turning out unexpected: the bossy Octavia not understanding the pain the nanny was going through, Libby in the end.
