The film selection was one of the strengths of this book for me. The variety of films covered in the essays was good.
Other audience members might be better suited to read this book. The author reviews a couple of concerts/shows as well.
Some of the essays incline towards humanities, film studies, social sciences, whereas most others are personal reviews by the author.
The essays vary in length. Due to the scope, I enjoyed some of the longer ones more because of the depth they could go into.
