I like the way the story went back and forth between, Enoch and the present day. The idea of a person being a " vessel " I alos liked. The story and characters moved with a fast enough pace you do not want to put it down. There seemes to be a lot of just going along with what was happening. In the end, I liked the book and would give it a solid 7.
I, Enoch by Steve Stine is the first book in The Deep Earth Chronicles series and what a wonderful magical book this was, especially as I did not know what to expect as this book was a new gene and new author for me to get my teeth into. I am so glad I had a chance to read it. I loved it from the very first few pages. It was beautifully written and I loved all the characters.
Looking forward to read more from this author.
This book just took my breath away. Just beautiful!
The cover to this book was beautiful and an eye catcher especially the colours.
Big Thank you so much to literally PR and Steve Stine for my copy.
Intriguing story that puts a new spin on some Biblical stories, modern science theory, and far out ideas.
Enoch starts as a main character but about halfway through is relegated to the backseat. His story is interesting but ultimately he's left with nothing to do while other characters take over the story.
This novel has several topics that I enjoy but I can't say what without spoilers. It kept me reading to the end.
