A helpful guide to how to best use netgalley. I wish I would've had this when I first joined the site, but it was nice to read over.

I picked up lots of useful tips and advice, and it reminded me to link my NetGalley account to my kindle.

The section on writing reviews will be invaluable and I'm sure I'll refer back to it often.

This guide was so helpful in knowing how to start on NetGalley and really excited me for the beginning of this journey! It helps that the presentation is so cute and well put together. I really liked the additional tips on what makes a good review, especially as someone who is just getting started in this space. It's useful to know both what makes a good review from the opinion of the reader, but also to the publisher themselves as well.

In today's digital age, there are a lot of opportunities to apply your interests in fun, new and different ways. Writing book reviews is one. This booklet is meant to help you navigate how to put your best foot forward on NetGalley.

At 30 pages, the booklet isn't an exhaustive guide and it's not exhausting to read. It focuses on offering concise, easy-to-follow advice on making the most of your NetGalley profile and presence. The author provides simple, step-by-step instructions and hot tips. The writing is clear, the tone is friendly, and it does well to avoid technical jargon, making it accessible for everyone.

It's worth a read. Just know that if you download it, you need to write a review for it. The other advice I would have like to have known is that it's a short read, so don't stress trying to figure out how to download it to your Kindle/e-Reader. I made several attempts to do so and finally tried just looking at the download.

I didn’t even know this little toolkit existed! This is super helpful especially going into the new year and requesting ARCS! Lots of great tips when starting out and creating your profile. I can’t recommend NetGalley enough—so so grateful for their platform!

I must have been too excited to notice this book when I first started using NetGalley about a month ago, but it was so helpful to have many of my questions on what to do if I don't necessarily find a book to my liking, why my request may be denied and how to improve my profile overall. It also gave me tips I didn't know I needed and would obviously recommend starting out with this book when starting your journey.

Learnt quite a few things about Netgalley that I didn't know before. The guide was very helpful. I updated my reviewer profile which I hadn't done in many years.

This was a short and sweet guide to introduce new users to NetGalley! It contained all of the information needed to begin the wondrous journey of reviewing ARCs, DRCs, and ALCs. As a graphic designer, the design looks outdated and could use a facelift, but overall, serves its purpose of being concise and informative.
