This book is quick, to the point, and helpful in giving advice and guidance on NetGalley and the tools within it, how it works, and provides links to additional information. I linked to lots of other stories from it and now have a better understanding, profile, and idea of what publishers are looking for in readers. I recommend this to anyone new to NetGalley as a “101” introductory course to NetGalley. Definitely useful. This copy was provided by We Are Bookish on NetGalley. Thanks to all. A free copy was provided for an honest review.

Since this is a toolkit I don’t believe I need to give feedback. Thanks for the information! Let me know if this is a mistake

This is a great overview of everything Netgalley. There’s so much great info here you’re likely to find a helpful tip even if you’ve been using Netgalley for a while.

A precise intrduction to NetGalley's platform.
The toolkit is easy to understand and the pages' composition and layout make it a joy to read. It is not to difficult and shows all the important areas in a very shot span of pages. The only thing I would have loved to see expanded is the section about the ratio - how it is calculated, etc.
Also, maybe some tips and tricks to those who are just starting out! But those are just minor thoughts, in general I enjoyed it a lot!

Loved having this linked directly in the welcome guide, it's full of great information and I'm sure I'll be referencing it repeatedly! I will mention that the font for the "sticky notes" in the pages is not very friendly, it gave me a bit of a pause that I had to take a moment to decipher some of the letters at first and took a star off of the review. Thank you for sharing!

📚✨ Just finished diving into this super handy guide on how to navigate NetGalley, and wow, is it a game changer! From picking the right publishers to selecting the books that truly speak to you, it's packed with tips that make the whole process so much easier. I even learned what that orange pencil icon means next to certain reviews—mind blown! And let’s be real, we all have those books we just can’t finish. This guide gives some thoughtful advice on how to handle those "did not finish" moments without feeling guilty. 🙌

Big shoutout to NetGalley and We Are Bookish for putting this together! 📖💖 I know I'll be referencing it whenever I'm in need of some bookish guidance. This is a nice guide for someone who is new to NG. I have been using NG for a few years now and I was already aware of these tips. It was nice to see an example book review though, as I am always unsure of how long my reviews should be.

This handy guide was extremely helpful in helping figure out how best to use NetGalley, pick publishers and books I want to review and how to create a very constructive book review. Finding out what the orange pencil means beside a review was very cool! Also when I have a book that I can’t finish, the most appropriate way to review a did not finish book. I will be referencing this guide often! Thank you NetGalley and We Are Bookish for the opportunity to read this guide!

This toolkit has a lot of helpful information for both new and seasoned users of NetGalley. Topics are organized into three sections:
1. NetGalley 101 (setting up your profile, types of books, how to request books, etc.)
2. Writing reviews (how to write, how to DNF, etc.)
3. Other tips and tricks

Very useful refresher of everything that is important when managing NetGalley profile. I wish it had more info on badges though.
