Very helpful guide to provide book reviews that are attention getters. Good read for someone like me who's just starting reviewing books in exchange for ARC.s.

It is a reference book. I did not finish. It is a reference book. I did not finish. It is a reference book. I did not finish. It is a reference book. I did not finish. It is a reference book. I did not finish.

Great tool kit for anyone new to Net Galley! Lots of helpful hints and tricks, such a helpful resource.

This book was very helpful when writing my very first NetGalley review. It is an invaluable resource that I'm sure I'll refer to many times in the future.

Great guide for tips on setting up NetGalley and how to write reviews! I wish I had known about this resource sooner. I love the graphics and the layout is extremely easy to follow!

NetGalley’s Book Advocate Toolkit is a very useful tool, especially for those who are just starting out in the world of reviews and Netgalley. After reading the toolkit, I was able to make substantial changes to my profile to make it more appealing and informative. I was also able to get a greater understanding of how Netgalley works and ways to improve my experience as a book reviewer.

Just the guide I needed! While I may disagree with some of its advice (in the age of the Internet, there is no reason to waste review space summarizing a book), it has been invaluable as I develop my reviewer skills. Anyone who is interested in getting their book reviews notices, on NetGalley or anywhere, should check it out.

The guide is very detailed! I love the layout and the explanations are clear and concise, with links to articles that go into more detail on the blog. It's a great resource for anyone who's already using Netgalley (like me) and wants to complete their profile or discover aspects they didn't know about, as well as for people who want to have all the information on how it works before taking the plunge. I used the tips to rewrite my bio.

Amazing guide for how to build your NetGalley profile and do other various things like navigate the website, find books that interest you, know what kind of feedback publishers are looking for and what information they're looking for from a reviewer's profile. There's some great tips and tricks that I will definitely use in the future when I am working on perfecting my NetGalley profile (a constant work in progress) and writing better and more thorough reviews. I always want to get better in order to provide the best feedback I can, so other readers spend their time wisely and I get the enormous privilege of enjoying new releases in the process. I really appreciate NetGalley, the publishers, and the authors for sharing their works of art with us here. I also appreciate NetGalley and We Are Bookish for providing this handy guide. Thank you!

Thank you NetGalley for providing this complimentary copy of NetGalley's Book Advocate Toolkit. Following the advice in this book, I made a couple of changes to my profile and my reviewing process.

The cover drew me in! I love how all the content is laid out in a concise and friendly way. This allows Book Advocates to be able to succeed in NetGalley. As soon as I read the sample bio, I had to create my own.
My favorite part of this Toolkit is the Review Example which is beautifully laid out in a way that gives me the details of a good review. Thank you We Are Bookish for this amazing Toolkit for Book Advocates.

Start here! This is so helpful if you have no idea where to staff. I’m new to NetGalley and found this very insightful.

Really pretty designs for the pages making it so attractive to read. Simple to understand and goes through everything you may need to know before you start requesting your books / audiobooks.

This toolkit contains everything you need to get started on NetGalley with member types, how to navigate the site, requesting books, writing effective reviews plus resources, tips & tricks. I wasn’t expecting much since there was another guide that I had read that didn’t really provide me with any useful information. However, I actually learned a lot with this guide and wish I had read it earlier. I found the part about writing reviews the best, it broke down the elements of a good review very well in a way that was very simple and actionable. There were also tips for if you didn’t finish a book, etc. A very helpful tool to use NetGalley better!

Helpful, colorful. Very useful for the advid reader to maintain records. My only recommendation would be to have the ability to link it to this site and pull in the books being read and reviewed by me. It would eliminate the cut and paste.

This toolkit is by far super helpful in order to be the best possible book advocate. I am definitely saving this for future reference as it know I will be using this throughout my book reviewing career.!

Super helpful guide and insight into NetGalley and ARC reading in general. Saved for future reference, will probably read a lot as a newbie to this world!

A quick and easy introduction to guide to NetGalley. Especially useful is the sample review, which can give reviewers a feel for what publishers would like to see.

This title is a wonderful primer to becoming a book advocate. It covers both the basics of leveraging the NetGalley application as well as detailing how to write a review that is beneficial for publishers to receive. I also appreciated the attention to when to mark a DNF book as will not provide feedback versus providing a written review but calling out the portion of the book that was read. Addressing these very real scenarios help me to feel prepared to begin requesting and reviewing books through NetGalley.

A helpful and informative guide to Netgalley. I’m just meeting the character limit as this is not a formal review.
