The Book Advocate Toolkit is a really helpful tool for aspiring bookish content creators. It's also helpful for creators needing a little inspiration to keep going.

The revised NetGalley Book Advocate Toolkit is the perfect guide to help a new NetGalley member get started. It has all the information needed to help a member set up their profile, navigate the site and write reviews. Even if you have been using the NetGalley review site for a while, it is so packed with information, that it is bound to have at least a few tips that you have overlooked.

Really good tool kit to help with reviews and what to write when writing reviews. Really helped me navigate my reviews when reading arcs from authors and publishers

Thank you for sharing the guide. The guide was insightful and helped me understand my role as a reviewer.

Super helpful in getting set up and started with useful information for crafting relevant reviews. Would recommend for any new users that have recently signed up for NetGalley to acquire this immediately and start off reading this before jumping into requests.

I have been reviewing for NetGalley for a couple of months now. When I started, I was initially very confused and had a lot of trial and error moments when attempting to learn the process/interface of requesting, downloading, reading, and reviewing books prior to archive date. I was overly eager and went on a request spree and am now attempting to catch up to improve my feedback score. I really wish I would have known this toolkit book existed and read it sooner! It is so simple and easy to read with good examples and additional links provided for more guidance. I feel like I understand NetGalley so much better now and feel more motivated to continue . I would definitely recommend reading through this if you’re considering getting involved in NetGalley reviewing as well! Thank you to NetGalley and We Are Bookish for the free copy of this guide. All opinions are my own.

This was a very helpful mini book on how to navigate Net Galley to get the most from it. It gave me slot more insight as to what is expected and how to properly review books.

A quick read that is helpful for users new to Netgalley . For additional info, there are some helpful links which are also included for further viewing or reading. I will definitely use some of the tips.

This handbook is very helpful for spreading the word about books on NetGalley. it has already come in handy and I know it will continue to be an important resource as time goes on and I write more reviews.

The Book Advocate Toolkit is a wonderful resource for new NetGalley users. It clearly lays out the process of creating a profile, and requesting and reviewing ARCs. The book also explains the metrics that are used to assess performance on the site and gives tips for increasing the likelihood of receiving future ARCs. I particularly appreciated the review formatting and style tips, which I've incorporated into my own practice. I am sure that The Book Advocate Toolkit will remain a helpful guide for best practices as I build my presence on NetGalley. Thank you for sharing this resource!

Thanks for sharing this toolkit with lots of great advice for writing reviews. This toolkit is great for people who are new to reviewing and who have been doing it a while but need a refresher. Thanks for giving us such good tools to help us be successful review writers.

Great tool! I didn't get a chance to fully participate this year (didn't see it in time), but maybe next?!

I found the NetGalley Book Advocate Toolkit super helpful! It gives clear advice on writing book reviews, choosing the right platforms, and planning content. I especially liked the tips on content planning and review etiquette, which made organizing my reviews much easier. I think it's a great starting point if you’re new to book reviewing or looking to build your online presence.

This is such a great booklet! I found lots of tips that will be extremely helpful. Just wish that it was something that was more immediately tagged for members to find. I only found out when I accidentally typed NetGalley into the goodreads search bar instead of opening a new tab and typing it (it was one of those days). It would be very helpful to new members if they were told right away to search for the handbooks.

I’m very pleased and thankful with how useful this was!! I’ve learned a lot and I loved the tips about how to deal with readers guilt.

NetGalley’s Book Advocate Toolkit is a handy guide that helps you learn how to navigate everything on the website. It will be a good quick reference tool for when users forget where to find something or how to access a tool.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! This toolkit helped me tremendously and I will continue to refer back to it. The biggest and most immediate help was telling me how to subscribe to the weekly checklist, that is going to be such a big help!!

As always, Netgalley does not disappoint when it comes to providing the best resources for its readers and reviewers! Thank you for putting together this amazing resource that helps you tailor your profile, helps you with writing reviews in different formats and to different audiences, and for helping you to improve your feedback ratio and read more of what you enjoy!

This Toolkit offers valuable insight on the workings of NetGalley. This site in general is user-friendly, but this toolkit breaks down the components of the site, and provides important information for this site. When I first started NetGalley, I had so many questions! This answered all of them, and provided external links for more information on topics. I even learned there's a dark mode?? Definitely turning that option on! I highly recommend this Toolkit for any new or pre-existing NetGalley reviewers of all membership types.

This is a great and short book about navigating this site, It was very colourful and easy to read. I learned so much about the website and the orange pencil!
