As someone who’s relatively new to NetGalley, I have no context on whether or not things have significantly different from earlier versions of this document. I thought it was a very solid list of tips and recommendations for navigating the site on the whole and how to format a review. Nothing revolutionary or that majorly changed my usage patterns, but I’m sure it would have been very helpful before I got started originally.

A great resource made even better! You guys are listening and providing valuable content for us to engage with as reviewers!! Honestly, I’m really impressed with the level of care you give to making this experience better and better.

Just read the updated toolkit and it's as great as ever. I now have a plan for attacking my backlist as well as improving my feedback ratio. Great job NetGalley!

I really like the updated Book Advocate Toolkit. There are so many tips and tricks contained within, in order to give reviewers the best possible chance at being approved for book requests. NetGalley’s Book Advocate Toolkit has been extremely helpfull. I used the tips within to update my profile page. I have been using NetGalley since 2016, so you could say I should know it all. However, I was still able to learn a few things by reading this. So if you are new to NetGalley or you are an old pro, you can still find some useful tips within this resource. Definitely pick it up if you are a NetGalley Member.

I have been reviewing Netgalley since 2013, and this kit mentioned a few things I should be doing to keep my account relevant to publishers who may look at it before approving me for a book I have requested. I love how easy it was to click on links to get more in-depth information on interesting topics. I highly recommend this to reviewers new to NetGalley and reviewers who have been here for a few years or more.
