An update version of the Book Advocate Toolkit!
I loved the last one and constantly use it as a reference, its always amazing to have tips, facts and recommendations when doing reviews
I recommend for anyone struggling, just starting out or looking to improve their reviewing skills!

This was really helpful for me. I especially appreciated the section about filling in your profile. Those tips were great and helped me update my profile in a more helpful way.

I also liked the section on writing reviews and the section on managing your requests, I'm pretty good about not requesting more than I can read, but I can definitely see that being helpful to other folks.

Great resource, much appreciated. One note - it was HARD to find this on the website. I'm a librarian and when I went looking for it at the start of camp I couldn't locate it. I only eventually found it through an emailed newsletter link.

The Book Advocate Toolkit helped me understand how to write a better bio. After reading the guide, I updated my profile to include more relevant information and keep it short and simple. I loved that the toolkit included a link of Profile Dos and Don'ts. I found that extremely helpful. Thank you NetGalley.

I also Liked the Feedback Ratio page. I wasn't aware of this metric prior to reading the Toolkit. I appreciate the explanation and tips for improvement. Otherwise, I might have gone on a request spree!

This newly updated advocate kit takes what was already a successful resource and makes it better! The layout is more visually appealing and simple to follow. The updates information is helpful and I'm excited to see there will be a social.media guide coming soon!

Very helpful toolkit, with information I wish I'd had years ago when I was just starting out. Even as a seasoned reviewer, I found it full of helpful hints and reminders. Thanks for providing such a useful resource. I look forward to implementing some of the suggestions, especially when it comes to critical reviews, which are always the most challenging for me to write.

I am still getting through some of the sections as they become more relevant to me. This is a toolkit that I know I will be turning to time and time again as it answers every question anyone could have about the platform. To be honest, I think this document should appear immediately in the library upon account creation. The section on feedback ratio has helped me a great deal recently as I was struggling to get through the books I have been approved for.

Great guide - really loved the DNF chart I love that it gives a clear process to decide how to move forward with an ARC that isn’t for you - and the illustrations were great as usual. NetGalley seems to really put a lot of effort into these I find them all really worth the read - thanks !!

I have read an older version of this book before but I saw a lot of things that were added to this modified version. I think this modified edition is much more helpful than the older version because it still has everything you need to know about understanding NetGalley. I would recommend this book to anyone who is new to netgalley and needs to understand the website more.

If I had this guide when I first joined NG, it would have made my life a million times easier! As someone who is relatively new to the world of reviewing books, the included guides on how to write a clear, coherent review was especially helpful for me. The ever-evolving terrain of social media admittedly has a tendency to make me feel ancient at times, so I immensely appreciate all of the tips on how to navigate and effectively engage with such platforms. I'm now so excited for the journey ahead!

This is a great toolkit and gave me a lot of great ideas for reviews. When I am reviewing several books a month, sometimes it's hard to make each review unique. There are so many great ideas here. The toolkit is a big help for us book advocates, or any new reader/reviewer trying to make their voices heard. Thank you!

This is a great guide to clarify what you should write or not in your reviews and NetGalley biography, what's expected of you on this website, as well as some tips and links to articles that should help you too . I will use it a lot in the future for sure.
