I love this whole thing so much. As a grownup who misses the feel of childhood summers, this is a lovely bit of nostalgia for those of us who love to read. I really appreciate the work We Are Bookish puts into the NetGalley experience. As for the rest of camp, I adore the bingo card (I’m feverishly trying to fill mine out!), and am excited about the upcoming scavenger hunt.

When I heard about NetGalley Camp I thought it sounded like a fun idea! I really like the bingo board that is included and definitely plan to use it. I do wish the packet came with more games/activities. I found the other templates on NetGalley’s Instagram but I wish they were included in the packet. Overall, the camp looks like it’ll be fun!

I am excited for a summer challenge and think this is a great way for me to hit my reading goals and explore some new books

I always enjoy a challenge! I get a little dopamine rush from completing tasks, so the bingo game seems like it's right up my alley.

I like the idea of tasks or goals to encourage reading through this site, but the bingo board doesn't encourage participation. I like the idea of the badge, but I wish there was another way to encourage engagement. If I think of anything concrete, I will update.

What a fun activity! I think the bingo board is so fun. I like the idea another reviewer had about possibly having 2 bingo boards - one specific to NetGalley and another just general bookish board. I think these interactive activities are a fun way for reviewers to get involved as well as a nice way for NetGalley to review some basics with users (like the updated toolbox, etc.)

I love the Bingo page, and I think more prompts like that would be fun. I also would have liked to see the announcement earlier so that I could plan for my social media posts. I'm excited to see how this goes!

I truly love the idea of Camp Netgalley. I love the bingo card and am looking forward to the prompts throughout the month. The only thing I believe would make this better is 2 bingo cards - one for prompts specific to netgalley and reviewing, and one for basic bookish prompts, like "a book with a queer main character" or "read a book completely outside", "read a graphic novel". I like having 2 separate things to work on! and maybe add some incentives to getting a bingo - maybe an automatic approval for a book of their choice (if possible) or work with a company to give coupon codes for their website to buy a book?

What a pleasant surprise! I haven't been able to log into NetGalley for a while, so it was great to come back and find a structured activity waiting for me. The camp format, with timed activity releases, keeps it from being overwhelming, and of course, who doesn't love a series of badges? I'm really looking forward to getting back into NetGalley with this fun, organized plan.

I love how NetGalley creates events we can participate in. I love the Bingo game and cannot wait for it to begin. I would like to see a challenge with genres or catagories for us to read and a reading goal to meet.
