This is such a cute idea! I love the talent show aspect! It would be cool if next time you add more creative options as well like maybe a bookish arts and crafts or photography! For those who like more creative outlets along with their books!

This is such a cute way to get people reading and reviewing for the summer! The bingo card has some great challenges for the summer and they've given me some ideas to challenge my coworkers with for summer reading. The stickers are also very cute. I appreciate that the packet also links to We Are Bookish as the website has a lot of resources for NetGalley reviewers.

So many summer challenges! I already finished the local library challenge and here comes NetGalley threatening me with more fun. I like the bingo board, because the challenges to fill spaces are fun. Thanks to NetGalley for basically having summer camp.

What a fun way to immerse yourself in summer reading and be an active member of the NetGalley community! I love playing book bingo because it helps me choose a book from my never-ending TBR.

Great idea for book lovers. Templates are great to share with friends to see what you are reading over the summer

Unfortunately, I wont be participating in this camp :( I'm going on a vacation and will not be active on my socials during this time - maybe next year!

Camp NetGalley looks like it will be a fun and interactive way for avid readers to find extra joy in reading books, reviewing them, and connecting with others. It's like summer camp, but tailored to those of us who enjoy a good book more than most activities! This Welcome Packet includes a weekly agenda of activities to participate in, a bingo board of bookish prompts, and information on how to earn an exclusive Camp NetGalley 2024 badge. I'm excited to participate in the talent show, too!

I really enjoy this opportunity, I love the opportunity here at NetGalley and being part of it's Community.

So excited to be a part of Camp NetGalley! Such a fun idea! I loved summer reading programs as a youth, so I am thrilled to be a part of this one for Camp NetGalley for adults!

This is such a fun idea for those of us who are motivated by collective reading challenges! I am new to NetGalley, and was a little hesitant, but I feel so welcomed into this community and am slowly making my way through my shelf. I love that this is open to both seasoned and new reviewers, making everyone feel included. I think that these kinds of events should happen all year long! For example, host one in the fall surrounding spooky books, or in the winter surrounding books you can read by the fire. I also would love to see more promotion around the event! It would be a great way to get the event and those in the future out there.
Below, I will be including a review centered around disability, ableism in literature and inclusion, and I hope, even though it's a negative review, that it can be read thoughtfully and be eligible for the Summer Camp.
Thank you to NetGalley and We Are Bookish for this fun Summer event!

The opportunity to submit a review you are proud of is a great idea! Most of us put a lot of work and effort into creating meaningful reviews, so this is amazing.
Who doesn't love bingo??

I enjoy the idea of Camp NetGalley. I downloaded it because I was interested in what it was and I wasn't getting a true understanding of Camp NetGalley from the description. Since then, I have followed NetGalley on Instagram and explored the packet, which has given me a much broader understanding of Camp NetGalley. As an educator, I would love to see specific tasks or options on the Bingo card that aligns to educators. I do love the idea that participants receive a badge for their participation so that publishers can see that individuals are willing to take more steps towards increasing their reach and influence within the book world.

I think this is an awesome concept and gives people ideas and templates for social media, should they chose to do it!

This is a great and fun idea way to spend your summer reading! I like when Netgalley offers these programs for readers

This is a cute tool for summer reading! I always appreciate when NetGalley releases little presents like these for their users. Thank you!

This is a very good material! I'm excited for Camp Netgalley and everything it will bring (even though I know I'm already a bit behind)

BINGO! Enjoyed that game. Camp NetGalley is a clever idea to draw people in. Thanks for making membership even more fun than it already is.

What a fun summer event. I love the graphics in this packet and the freebies!! Thank you so much for this summer fun.

Fun concept. Activities are heavily social media driven for exposure, which I understand, but not necessarily my cup of tea. While I’m on social media, I’m not a “content creator” to post all the camp activities nor have a desire to brag about stickers earned. The bingo board is fun, not sure I am on social media enough to participate in the scavenger hunt, and the talent show is ‘meh.’ If we could submit our participation screen shots directly to NetGalley as opposed to posting on our own pages, I’d be more inclined to submit.
