What a great idea! I can't wait to play Bingo. Fun way to incentivize summer reading and share with each other! I'm very excited to see what the scavenger hunt is! Looking forward to participating!
This packet was full of great information we’ll need for summer camp. I am looking forward to filling in my bingo card as well as what surprises the scavenger hunt awaits us.
What a great summer of fun we’re going to have.
Thank you Bookish and NetGalley for this.
It's interesting to consider the items on the bingo board; I never vote on book's covers to be honest! I haven't requested any summery books but maybe now is the time.
This should be fun! Thanks NetGalley for this "online summer camp extravaganza". I'm looking forward to the weekly activities. Meanwhile, here's my review for Camp NetGalley's Talent Show - https://www.netgalley.com/book/291196/review/802970
The review is for the book is "We Are The Crisis" by Cadwell Turnbull. It's the second in an expected trilogy and was a fun read. It's set in a world almost exactly like our own (an alternate reality in which monsters are real) and I blazed through it. Both this book and the first in the series ("No Gods, No Monsters) would make excellent summer reads for fans of alternate reality fantasy.
Summer Camp for reading! Love it! I've always wanted to do an adult book camp and now I have the opportunity! Should be a fun summer with all the reading that I want to do:)
This looks like a lot of fun! I especially love a good bingo board, so I'm looking forward to participating in that the first week of July. This is a great way to promote reading during the summer months!
I love it when NetGalley comes up with fun activities like this! As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to participate. It's a great way to keep track of your reading and the way it's sorted out by each week is helpful. That way you can keep track of where you are and what activities you can still do for the month. I love how the download has links directly through it so that if you happen to not be connected to Netgalley, you can still interact with the site.
We are Bookish came up with such an adorable design for the packet and really kept the camp theme going throughout. I can't wait to download the stickers, they weren't yet available last I checked, but they are one of my favorite parts, The Talent Show portion is genius - a camp staple that they managed to incorporate into Netgalley. I really hope they keep activities like this going, it's just another reason to support reading!
So excited to do the camp. It will be so much fun.

Excited for some fun activities themed around all things bookish! I'm super excited for the Bingo game. Thank you to all that made this possible!
I'm so excited to participate in this summer's Camp NetGalley, what a fun way to revisit your annual NetGalley reading goals midyear and participate in fun new challenges!
I think this is so much fun and gives netgalley users the incentive to read some amazing ARCs all while getting their profile and percentage up at the same time so it's helping everyone. There's not really much critique or criticism, the instructions on the camp netgalley are very straightforward and simple, it's step-by-step and you just do what it says. Thanks for the opportunity!
Fabulous. Something fun to participate in and keep up with your reading goals and add badges to your netgalley.

this is a great idea, i live the templates and the merit badges and the fact it covers a wide range of authors. The bingo idea is also amazing
A fun book of activities for the summer. Looking forward to doing them all and I’m always up for some sort of book bingo.
I absolutely adore the idea of CampNetgalley.
It's a great representation for how companies can stay in touch and engaged with their users. I love how interactive it feels, especially the bingo providing ways to carry out a bookish activity every-day!
For future camps it would be great to see social media representation in the forms of a story Q&A about the request process/signing up/authors etc. I think this would really encourage people to follow social media and engage outside of the site itself.
Even if in the future the bingo could be added as a template story to Instagram - I think that would encourage more reviewers to sign up and engage.
Future camps could also provide a review guide (I know one is linked on the site but this can be a great way to get people to interact with it), tips from publishers for getting approved and even a highlight section with top selling books you've hosted/prize winning authors etc. And even most requested statistics for the year before? This way you can include indie authors also.
I love this! Camp NetGalley is going to be such a fun way to spend the summer. Growing up, I loved doing the summer reading challenges at the local library and really wish there were more summer reading programs for adults. I am looking forward to the activities and events, and cannot wait to tackle my shelf!
I think this is a fun and cute idea to boost readership on Netgalley. As someone who makes reading bingo cards and challenge prompts monthly for readers in my online community, I think the prompts have a good variety of specificity and vagueness that make it not too difficult to participate but can still offer a challenge. The Talent Show looks fun, too - and a good way to get more thoughtful reviews from readers. I'm looking forward to this month's reading!
This looks like a fun challenge that is totally doable. I'm looking forward to sharing and engaging.
This is my first time joining Camp NetGalley, and I couldn't be more excited to participate! Thank you to NetGalley and everyone there that made this summer reading event possible for us book enthusiasts. The welcome packet was very thoughtfully put together. I would love to see a feature next year where we can see what other campers are reading, so it feels more like a collaborative event. Also, it would be cool if there were some titles reserved for campers to have a better shot at getting approved to read and review.
I enjoy the concept in this book to connect readers over the summer! I think everyone could use a bit of nostalgia like summer camp vibes and this is a fun way to bring that back virtually. Thank you NetGalley and We Are Bookish for this opportunity
