I didn’t fully engage in the summer camp this year, but feel like it’s an exciting idea to ring in summer reading! I will try to engage in it more next year. Thank you for the opportunity!

What a fun concept! This kept user engaged during the summer.

Only suggestion is to possibly have a printed copy available for the less tech savvy, or those of us whose printer decided to print it's last page this summer!!

Fun summer event. Wasn’t able to compete all of the activities but enjoyed following along. Looking forward to future activities.

It was a fun activity I just wished it was easier to follow up with other participants and that I have had more time to do the whole package, other than that, I enjoyed the few things I did. It had nice and easy instructions, which are always welcome

I loved this fun little camp packet to get me reading more arcs! The Bingo was probably my favorite part of this little packet! I definitely think that NetGalley should do more of these throughout the year!

This was such a fun idea, but I was much busier during July than I anticipated. I wasn’t able to do much with it, so I don’t have any great feedback. I will definitely be looking out for it again next summer!!

This was my first time participating in Camp NetGalley and while I didn’t do everything I had a lot of fun with the Camp NetGalley Bingo and seeing everything that my fellow bookstagrammers were reading. Definitely a fun event that I would love to see take place next year!

Thank you NetGalley for the Camp NetGalley Welcome Packet. It was a fun way to read more books while trying to fill out bingo card and amazing stickers to decorate. Can’t wait for the next year’s camp.

Short compiled packet of information to have a successful self-guided summer reading session. I wish there was more interaction with the community members - this was more focused on the badges and the little games which I was a little confused by. I was hoping for more of a collective summer reading challenge. The time frame also was kind of short to participate. I think it needed to be taken offsite to a discord or a blogsite with rolling interaction with one another. It just didn't have enough focus for me, which is why I removed stars. However, what IS there, is very well done and I can see the effort put into it, it just wasn't what I thought it was going to be. If I had paid for it, I would've been disappointed.

The packet was fun but not exactly what I expected. I think I expected more of a refresher course to maximize both the experience and our value as reviewers. Instead, this book is more a true camp experience with games and badges. In that space, it is OK if not a tad short. What I personally think would make this review exercise fun would be an interactive session where we could ask questions to a panel. Another thing that would be super helpful would be a best of section where a small set of reviews would be shared with tips from each to make us better reviewers.

The review I submitted below is one I am proud of because it is all heart. It is from before I started doing reviews for Netgalley, BookSprout or BookSirens so the only motivation for me was sharing the amazing experience that was the book. It is called "Fear is a Choice" and it is the harrowing story of an athlete who fought for a second chance and now stars of Sunday. I would recommend this book to anyone who feels like they need a bit of inspiration. In fact, I have recommended this book to several people via word of mouth. The story has all the feels as we journey along with James. It is also a lot of fun for Steelers fan, PITT fans and NFL fans especially those like myself who watched James's story unfold live on Saturdays.

This seemed very fun but I didn't really end up participating much unfortunately. I saw bits and pieces on Instagram and did take part in the initial part introducing myself.

Super fun idea, really love the idea. Unfortunately didn't get to participate as much as I would have liked this year but now that I am aware of the event, I should be able to plan for it better next year and get more involved.

A fun little challenge, unfortunately I didn't get to finish the event... life has taken over a bit of late.

Will look forward to any others that may come up. I think a winter one would be great, keeping cosy whilst reading is my favourite hobby

This was an emjoyable challenge for the summer.. it's nice to challenge your reafing sometimes. I like to find new fenres and books i probably might have missed
