This was very helpful and fun book. I loved the colors and the bingo board! I love using the camp theme for summer.

I didn't participate nearly as much as I would have liked, grad school got in the way :') but I had a lot of fun!! This is a really cool event that I look forward to participating in next year!

this was a neat event, and though I fell behind on my reviews because of other life stuff, it's a very fun idea!

Ok this was such a cool online event. I know I came in at the end but it reminded me of regular camp. I would have done a book camp as much as possible in my younger years.

This was a fun and comprehensive guide to complete the “game/activity” related to the camp. I would like more of these.

Between job applications and a big move to a small town, I did not have enough free time to participate in Camp NetGalley the way I wanted to. That said, all of the activities that I scrolled through seemed like so much fun. Book bingo is an all-time favorite of mine and I love a sticker pack! I also enjoyed seeing NetGalley's This or That circulating on bookstagram. Next year there should be more templates. Getting tagged in a template is an easy way to spread the word about this Camp.

However, I wish the Welcome Packet could have been opened in a browser. I understand the NetGalley is all about downloads, but reading through the packet on my phone, which is how I read e-arcs, wasn't the best format.

This is a totally unique concept. Camp NetGalley is a great idea to encourage and motivate readers. I could not fully participate this year but hope to take part in future challenges.

Sadly, I found this event shortly before the deadline and can't participate anymore. But the idea of it sounds amazing! Hopefully I can participate next year!

This is such a clever idea. I was happy to see an updated version of the toolkit. I think that the talent show is a fun concept and I am interested to see what reviews NetGalley shares.

Camp NetGalley is a fantastic idea to encourage readers during the month of July. The events are all easy to partake in and sound very fun.
The one piece of advice I have is to maybe promote this better, as I didn't hear that Camp NetGalley existed until very late in the month.
A great concept which I'm sure many people loved!

As this is my first summer to participate in the fun, I thought it was easy to follow to along. Ideas for next year, not sure at the moment, as I do not know what has been completed in the past or have seen other examples to compare this years’ to it. Great job keeping the reading energy going throughout the summer!

This is my first year with Camp NetGalley and I had a blast with the Summer reading activities and prompts. The themes stickers are cute and I wished I had known and utilized NetGalley sooner! My favorite activities were the daily scavenger hunt and bingo! The instructions are simple and straightforward. What a great way to earn a virtual camping badge. Highly recommend readers take part.

I was featured more than once on their Instagram story and would definitely participate again next year!

Thank you to We Are Bookish for this fun summer activity! I loved the camp vibes, filled with fun challenges. I would love next year to see more badges, such as submit a review in July and get a "s'more reviews the better" badge, or send We are Bookish a picture of what book you would bring camping and get the "Happy Camper" badge. One of my favourite parts of camping is telling ghost stories, maybe we can have a virtual ghost story night with authors sharing their favourite ghost stories. Crafts are a blast, maybe have a camp Netgalley craft tutorial in the welcome packet. Lastly, the talent show can be users sharing their reviews for their favoruite books of the year. I really enjoyed this activity and would love to see something be offered in February or March to brighten cold winter days. Thank you again for all the hard work that went into this activity.

Reflecting on camp, I loved the scavenger hunt event week. Equally as valuable, was the sharing you did of our posts with your following. Not only was it fun to see others reads but also it was nice to find new book reviewers to follow and to get some new followers as well.

For next year, I would continue this as well as build on the bunk concept from the first few days. I did not really see how to engage with others that picked the same bunk as me. That would be another way to engage with reviewers with similar interests to find new reads and community friends.

Camp NetGalley was a fun and interactive way to promote reading and the NetGalley platform.

I appreciated knowing what was required of me upfront in order to participate but I would have liked to see more, smaller, rewards (like downloadable stickers) released based on participation goals instead of an upfront data dump.

I would also love to see some virtual workshops offered for things like aocla .media posts, review tips and maybe even some meet the author type webinars, just for Camp NetGalley participants (think: the activities we sign up for at camp). Maybe based off of the "bunk" we chose.

Overall this was a fun activity and I look forward to more in the future.

Camp NetGalley is a great initiative to bring book reviewers together and a way to find each other! I enjoyed following along on Instagram. I imagine many of the templates and prompts would have been easier to partake in if I worked off a computer. Most of my reading, and all my social is on my phone which made Bingo, Meet the Camper, Bunk activities, and stickers harder to take advantage of, or maybe it was my age? The Scavenger Hunt was my favorite part, besides all the reviewer tips! Hope to see ya at Camp NetGalley 2025!
