Camp NetGalley, what a fun idea ! Although I had difficulty navigating the activities, the intention was there and it was great. My suggestion for maybe next “camp” year or there after is possibly a group, maybe on FB or online that we as reviewers can get together and maybe have online games. Which could possibly include prizes such as books, Amazon gift cards, or other prizes. Authors can also participate which would be an awesome bonus.

I thought this was a really fun idea. I only wish the whole thing had been spread out across more than a month to make it easier to participate during a busy summer.

Came across this quite late in July so didn’t really have time to engage with what looks like a fun series of challenges. Will look out for this next year.

A great information pack! I learnt a lot to do with NetGalley, lots of fun, a lot of ideas and book recommendations come across as it spurred me on to do some research!

This was an informative pack and gave all the relevant info to help me get started with my first camp NetGalley.

This was a lot of fun. The activities were great, and made me feel like I was really at book camp. I've never attended any kind of camp when I was a kid, so it sort of made me feel like I was attending camp. Great idea. I hope you host this event next year.

Camp NetGalley is a really fun idea! I like the little worksheet and the chance to gather badges. It's a fun way to encourage reading and participation throughout the summertime.

This was a fun little challenge! I enjoyed the bingo sheet and thought it had some very nice choices on there. The friend picks what you read one was my favorite because my best friend and I have long made this a challenge, where we pick books for the other person to read and then we do that. This was fun and low stress and felt like doing a library summer reading program.

Such a fun challenge!! This is my first summer with NetGalley as I only joined a month or so ago and was happily surprised with this. I am hoping there are more "camp" like events for the fall, winter, and spring as well. It was fun getting to see all the other campers' posts on social media. It really did feel like a summer camp. Can't wait for the next one :)

I did leave a review for one of my favorites this year! The Chamber by Will Dean! It's so exciting and has a bit of everything for every reader. Thrills, adventure, mystery and emotional! Loved it so much!

Oh wow, The Chamber gives a whole new meaning to the locked room murder mystery and I whipped through it as fast as possible.

I’m going to keep this as brief as possible because going in blind is essential!

Brooke is a saturation diver and she, along with 5 others, alternately work on the bottom of the ocean repairing pipelines, etc.… while living in a small pod under a ship. It’s a hyperbaric chamber and they’ll spend a month there breathing in a helium mixture, wiping down everything constantly (because illness/disease in this situation is really bad), and having most of their basic needs met by the Betty’s on the other side of the porthole. It’s a claustrophobics nightmare!

There’s so much more, though, which is why I highly recommend this read. Not once was I bored with any of the details, it’s fascinating and well told by the main character.

This is a group of people that have worked together multiple times, they’re close and know that without trusting each other, they’ll be putting themselves at risk. So, close knit, definitely, except this trip has a new guy. Imagine if one of the people dies? And nobody knows why? Then another. Then another. That trust in each other starts to wear a bit thin. Problem is, they can’t leave the chamber until they’ve fully decompressed and as the day’s, hours, and minutes tick by, each of the survivors becomes more and more suspicious of their dive mates.

This is where I’ll leave off on the synopsis except to say that Will Dean wrote this book with every locked room thriller lover in mind. I had a new suspect every few pages and man, I wasn’t prepared for the twists.

Freaking loved this and I’m telling everyone about it! Highly recommend to any fan of the genre!

Tense, thrilling, and unforgettable!

This is a fun idea and a great concept! I didn't download it soon enough to take full advantage but maybe next year if you do it again. I did write a review but am not submitting the link because I didn't like the idea of it being used in a public roundup on social platforms.
