This was a very helpful resource that allowed me to explore more of NetGalley! There were free weekly activities that I participated in such as bingo and collecting journal stickers. This resource had me looking at past reviews and analyzing what I needed to revamp on each one to be proud of every review!
Fantastic! Everything that I've ever wanted from NetGalley is here in this package. Well-worth getting for any NetGalley member!
I loved the idea of the camp. I think it brings book lovers together and boosts desire and need for ARC reviews. I was so grateful to discover this in July, which is also when I started my bookstagram.
Well explained and excited to be considered. Did not know there was opportunities like this. Super fun!
Book provided for free by netgalley for the purposes of a fair and honest review.
Very appealing book. I enjoyed all of the activities, but never quite got around to doing most of them. I do love a good game of book bingo. The tokens were attractive, but it would have been nice to have a print off sheet that could be cut out. I ended up combining the merit badges in a word document and printing them off. Hopefully I will have more time to commit to this activity next summer. But it is a fun way to encourage reading and reviewing.
While there is still a few days left in the Camp NetGalley I will be out of the country until 08/15.
This was such a fun thing to participate in! I really enjoyed it and found it to be motivating, exciting and super cute
This is such a fun idea and a way to connect readers socially! I always loved summer camp as a kid so way to go NetGalley in helping me relive those wonderful days! Talk about some fun nostalgia!
I've already read several great books this summer with some favorites being Margo's Got Money Troubles and The Unraveling. I'm looking forward to many more as I tackle my upcoming pub dates for all my NetGalleys!
Happy reading everyone!
I really loved the bingo board and the welcome packet was very well put together.
One of the reviews I am most proud of is: https://www.netgalley.com/book/326210/review/1284923
This is a fun little booklet of summer reading activities! I really like that there's a bingo board that you can use to help plan what you're reading this month, and I'm super excited about being able to earn a special badge for my profile, too. Thanks, NetGalley!
NetGalley definitely has some jokes and is very entertaining. A great resource for many librarians. This Welcome Packet was well formatted and easy to get though.
I think this is a great idea and I'm looking forward to this!
Maybe we can do something interactive next time.
Love the camp theme and the NetGalley/bookish themed bingo. Such a fun way to engage readers and a great way learn more about the NetGalley community.
My feedback on Camp NetGalley Welcome Packet (aka Talent Show entry): I think the bingo card idea is a lot of fun! It would be cool if there was an interactive component to it, or templates to use for Instagram stories/posts.

Great job by NetGalley to highlight summer reading and to engage members with their “Camp NetGalley” download. Loved the book bingo!!
What a fun event! I am brand new to Net Galley so I thought this was a really fun way to get started and get engaged! I wish there was a way to connect with other reviewers or build more long-term relationships with publishers. That might be an option and I am just not aware of it yet though!
I have included two links below of reviews I am proud of!
Such a fun reading challenge with interesting topics, a bookish bingo and a cute “camp” you can participate in during the whole month of july 2024! I love it!
This is fun and a great way to motivate readers during the summer. I loved the challenges and seeing other readers participate on socials.
Did not review this one online as it is not a novel, but it is a great guide - fun vibes ! Great way for new users to get to know the site, and a cool activity for those who have been using the service for a while. Hope to see more of these - maybe a Christmas themed one ?
This is my first year participating in Camp NetGalley, and I have really enjoyed it! Having different activities each week has been a great way to share on Social Media, and see what others are reading during the summer.
While I loved all of the different themes for each week and the graphics provided by NetGalley, I did find some of the participation information to be a little confusing at times. I saw others with the same concerns, that were unsure of where or when to post. And, I'm not sure if the format for providing the information is the best possible choice. So, I would love to see maybe a more concise way to get the information out for next year's camp.
I am really looking forward to making Camp NetGalley an annual reading challenge, and I can't wait to see what's coming for next year!
Such a fun idea from NetGalley! Was a great way to feel connected to the larger reading community. Thanks for sharing the project this summer.
