Fun prompts for the summer and summer reading. I liked the templates that could be used on social media. I would have liked to have had bingo boards that were in certain genres because I would not read some of the options on the bingo board that is currently in this packet.
This is really cute!
I'm proud of my review for Earls Trip by Jenny Holiday. I really enjoyed that book and it was so charming it made me feel like kicking my little feeties.
Summer is all about talking and sharing books! Reading out of doors or sprawled inside with a fan roving over you to beat the heat. Kids in the library turning books around on the shelves and leaving them a disaster zone, but creating more breathing room for the junior fiction than you've seen in months. I love it! And having something for us adult readers and promoters of book culture sweetens the summer just so much. Let's be real, I'd love to have an actual camp getaway filled exclusively with reading and endless conversations about books.

I think this is my best review yet. This is also such a cool idea and a great way to get more interaction for pages. I hope that this is something that will be done more often.
This month-long activity is fun and perfect for those bookworms who are looking for fun and exciting prompts to spice up their reading experience and keep them engaged. I think the camping theme is appropriate for the summer season. The infographics were creative, eye-catching, and very informative and easy to follow. I really appreciate the book calendar as it gives a clear summary of activities that’ll be happening for this month.
A suggestion that I can give for next year would be a workshop for both new and veteran reviewers on NetGalley to enhance their skills as well as to level up the quality they can provide for future book reviews.
This was fun but it shouldn’t count towards my reviews. This was an activity, not an actual book. It is unfair to have this count towards my percentage.
Camp NetGalley is such a fun concept, I wish it was a little more interactive, perhaps email alerts? If you ware not as active in social media you would not see the different "events". Looking forward to seeing all the challenges and next year's.
This was a fun little challenge with lots of different things to do. I really enjoyed having a go at them and learning along the way.
lol this is silly but fun. I would love some more interactive stuff like this from netgalley! The instructions aren't quite clear in how to submit the review for the talent show - is it just a normal review with a link to the review? Or is it something else? Not quite sure, but its low stakes so I'm not too concerned.
This was a super fun way to connect more to NetGalley over the summer! My favorite part is the bingo board—who else still misses summer reading as a kid?
What a fun activity to keep the community engaged. Late to the party but hope I have time to catch up!
I am just obtained a laptop and one of the first things I did was open net galley, not only can I now review much better but I am navigate net galley easier. However when it comes to the the camp, its hard to understand and how to navigate.Maybe I came into this a little to late but it would be great to see things not ending in the beginning of August but in Fall when kids are dragging their feet back to school and the crisp air is all around us. Gives time for more exploring. I hope next year I am able to navigate and particapate more.
What a fun summer reading camp idea! Thanks NetGalley!
NetGalley has become one of my favorite book sites to haunt.
This Book camp gets a 5* rating from me!
I think Camp NetGalley is a fun concept. I do wish there was a little more to do with events. I liked the week 3 event as it felt more interactive than the other weeks did.
So far this has been a fun distraction from the hustle of summer and summer reading programs. I have not quite figured out all the ins and outs of the games or badges it has been fun anyways Please please do this again next year.
Looking forward to fun activities! I'm late to the party, but I'm happy to catch up before the end of the month. Thank you for providing fun summer reading!

Such a fun idea and who doesn't love stickers and a special badge??
I do think the instructions on downloading and participating could be a little clearer, however.
