This is such a fun idea! Thanks Netgalley! I feel like we get to participate in summer reading like this kids do!
This was a fun activity. Very creative and fun to do. Definitely enjoying these. Interacting in insta has been interesting.

LOVED being able to participate in Camp Netgalley! Thank You! I hope NG does this again next year and offers other events like this throughout the year.
Thank you for this fun add to summer reading. I appreciate when NetGalley does things like this, but I am confused on how it effects our review percentage.
CampNetgalley is such a fun idea! I love the digital take on a traditional summer reading challenge, and the weekly activities like bingo and scavenger hunts are so much fun. I just wish there had been more advertising to drum up more knowledge and excitement about it before hand!
This is such a fun activity by NetGalley. I love the group work and a competition that inspires to become a harmonised community.
I feel that such collaborative challenges are enhancing our community in terms of reading, sharing and inspiring!
So happy to be a part of this!
So excited to join my first Camp NetGalley! So far, my favorite parts are the bingo games and reshareable Instagram story templates. I’m looking forward to more fun activities to come!
My favorite review so far is for the first ARC I ever received: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/6674131918
Thanks, NetGalley!
Thank you Net Galley for such a fun summer activity, CAMP NETGALLEY! This is such a fun twist on a summer reading challenge, with Journal activities, BINGO, social media templates and more. I left my talent show entry in the link below for the book Famine, which I just finished yesterday! #CampNetGalley #NetGalley.
How fun! Can’t wait to catch up for the #CampNetGalley tasks!

I've had a lot of fun participating with the NetGalley Summer Camp, but I would make these improvements:
1) I would make the journaling section easier to navigate. Unless you are using a tablet, it's really not feasible to use.
2) I would put all downloadable links in the downloadable PDF version of this welcome packet. It was difficult to figure out where the downloadable templates were.
3) I would make the event a little bit more like camp with more activities related to reading. For example, I'd create different merit badges for camp-related activities like bracelet making (make a bracelet for your favorite author/book), reading in a new area, trying a new drink at a coffee shop, etc. I think it would be a little bit more fun added to what is already being done.
Other than that, I had fun and would certainly participate again! My talent show review is located in the links section below.
Excited to join and see what this netgalley camp is all about! Seems like a fun project. A good motivator for reading these galleys and reviewing encouragement.
Fun! I really enjoyed this and look forward to participating in other Netgalley events. That being said, I think some of the instructions could have been clearer and I wish I had been able to find more of a community.
This looks like a fun concept to get people involved and sharing on social media. Summer always seems to be the busiest time for me and I have a harder time keeping up with my reading!
Here’s to a fun CampNetGalley.
I came to #CampNetGalley very late. This has reminded me about the importance of checking NetGalley more often and following NetGalley on Instagram and Facebook.
I love the colours, graphics, activities and badges. They have combined to make me feel like a kid again when summer library activities were a big part of my days. I also love that this extravaganza allows us to show off a favourite review we have written. I'm excited to read the top reviews of others and go through my own to find the perfect one to share. Most of all, I am delighted by the chance to connect with other readers/reviewers. #inspired #motivated
I didn't find out about this until halfway through the month because I'm so out of touch but what a fun way to get involved with NetGalley and have fun! I like the bingo and I'm looking forward to any events I can do with the remainder of the month!
This is a fun way to share your reading and stay motivated. I love the bingo idea and the PDF / social media have made it easy to follow along with. I recently read “Into the Fall” as an ARC and loved it! https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/6603761461
I recently dove into the Camp NetGalley Welcome Pack and found it to be an incredibly helpful resource for sorting out all the exciting details of this year's Camp NetGalley. Here's a breakdown of my thoughts:
What I Loved:
Clear Organization: The PDF is well-structured, making it easy to navigate through the different activities and events planned for camp.
Pre-Made Templates: I absolutely loved the pre-made templates for various platforms! They made it super easy to introduce myself as a camper and showcase which bunk I belong to.
Interactive Elements: It's great to see a focus on interaction, encouraging readers to connect with each other and share their love for books throughout the camp days.
Areas for Improvement:
Pre-Camp Information: One thing I found lacking was the information leading up to Camp NetGalley. I didn't hear about it until July, which made me feel a bit behind. Building up more hype with earlier and more frequent updates could really enhance the experience for future campers.
Overall Impression:
Despite the late notice, the Camp NetGalley Welcome Pack has made the camp experience fun and engaging. It's a fantastic way to bring readers together and celebrate our shared passion for books. I'm looking forward to all the activities and connecting with fellow campers!
I have included my review link to this review:
I'd like to see more information about Camp NetGalley leading up to the actual event and more detailed instructions! The graphics are really cute and it's nice to see something for engaging with the NetGalley platform. However, I don't think I really understood what I was getting into when I opened the Welcome Packet. I think if I had more information going into the event, I may have been more excited to participate but because I was confused regarding the event, I don't think I participated at the level I would have otherwise.
Below is my favorite ARC read of the year, "He's So Not My Valentine" by Savannah Scott. I read this via audiobook and the narration was done by Amanda Friday and Tyler Hyrchuk.
Love this idea & how it also incorporates into the book journal. The bingo board is also a fun way to get readers & reviewers to join in the fun.
