There isn't enough summer camp fun for adults in this world, so I'm happy to see this and can't wait to look through it!

I think it’s a cute idea to have a reading summer camp! It brought some fun activities and ideas to my summer reading list.

This seems like a fun summer activity! Not sure yet if I'll be participating but excited for the chance to!

Birding with Benefits by Sarah T Dubb

I was originally drawn to this book because of the cover art, it is a fabulous cover! Then I was drawn to the story line. I wouldn’t consider myself a birder, but I do feed birds in my backyard, know some species, and have Carolina Chickadees currently nesting in my birdhouse that I like to spy on. I enjoy a good romance, especially one fraught with sexual tension. I really enjoyed the main character, Celeste, and really found myself relating to her since she’s my age and has a similarly aged child. I really liked John, too, all along thinking it might be nice to have myself a John. I enjoyed the birding portion of the book, as well as the romance. I had a hard time putting it down so I could sleep and do things like cook dinner and keep my kids alive. I can’t wait to see what other books Sarah Dubb has in store for us!

Something fun and different but not sure how much I'll be able to do as summer is super busy for me, but great concept!

what a FUN idea! as a kid who THRIVED on summer reading challenges and activities that connected me with other book-loving peers, this is right up my alley, and i love that netgalley is always thinking of ways to keep readers engaged and enjoying their reading lives.

Great idea and some fun this summer. Builds community and will expand out into other genres. Loving the bingo card!!!!

Netgalley is a really fun and great way to read books and practice review writing. I think one suggestion I would have is to separate the Read Now category with genres so it is easier for those who are only interested in romance, for example.
Link to a review that I am proud of is my first ever Netgalley review; I am proud of myself for starting this journey. I am excited to continue this journey to read and build a reading community.

My favourite thing about the event is feeling part of a community and doing fun things like the bingo!

Next year maybe some bookish word searches?

This is my first year on NetGally and I’m super excited to participate, And share my love of books!!

This is my first time attending and I am so excited. The activities each week look pretty easy to do and it is accessible for everyone. The stickers are really cute. For me to see something different would be a challenge team vs team. We have reading prompts we have to do to earn points. The winning team gets a 1st place badge and the 2nd team gets a 2nd place badge. Of course, include other prizes according to placement.

I especially appreciated learning more about We Are Bookish and subscribing to their content. An idea for next year's camp is to have a few live webinars that we could participate in that either offer tips for NetGalley or a publisher to give us additional insight into how to set up our profiles, request books successfully, or offer authors additional support.
