Oreo, the therapy dog, steals the show in this medical romance. It's definitely a medical romance with lots of medical details and events, and it showcases the work of therapy dogs in a medical ethos well. The couple has believable internal conflicts, and the resolution of these is realistic. It's romantic, relatable, and engaged me enough to read in one sitting.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher.
Mills and Boon are a fun afternoon read. I love the quick read and this one didn’t disappoint. Gild meets boy, girl and boy bonk, girl and boy skirt around, girl and boy fall in love. Perfect for a rainy afternoon or.a beach read. Thank you NetGalley for this arc in exchange for an honest review.
Loved this book. Believable characters, and a sweet, well written romance. Read in one sitting.
Thank you to NetGalley and to the publishers for allowing me to read this book in exchange for an honest review.
This was such a soft and cute romance. The therapy doc -Oreo - was in every chapter and put joy into the book despite the hard stories and events covered. The medical examples were all interesting, varied and pulled on the heart strings and made me invest in the book. Perhaps a bit too much medical jargon that seemed unnecessary, and a gorgeous emotional romance that grew.
Oh, this is the kind of romance I want to read. Adult, intelligent, emotional and ultimately satisfying. And the story both the hero and the heroine have deep wounds but the way in which they come together and finally deal with all of their problems is just so realistic And so beautifully executed. I think my only criticism would be that they medical/surgical excerpts or are the two detailed and too long. Heartily recommended.
