A beautiful and emotional collection of poems that cover some very important and heavy topics. It felt deeply personal and made me feel seen
The Broken Few is a deeply emotional and personal collection of poetry. This book hit very close to home for me and I believe many other readers will also relate.
I'm not the target market for this book, so please don't take my review too seriously.
I rarely read poetry.
I have no anxiety or mental challenges.
As a result, I struggled to connect with this 149-page book.
I was hoping for some more insight into the solutions to mental health problems.
Instead, these poems felt like a cathartic rant.
I recommend sampling it before buying to confirm it's what you're looking for.

12 pages in, "My abandonment issues have become so extreme that I am even getting attached to my demons." I knew this book would be for me! The poetry in this book hit a lot of points in my life and also in my mind. Some of the poetry could be very HEAVY, but it's so worth it. Super quick pace and easy to read.

Thank you, Netgalley, and Cherish Edition for the ebook for my honest review.
I'm so glad I came across this title. Ijaz has created a stunning collection of poems that I read with intent. The words spoke to me and the topics were relatable. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.
I felt like I was reading someone's personal diary. In that sense I could not put it down. I read it in one sitting. I hoped for her to see her own self worth. I wanted to tell her she was important and her sharing what she is going through will help others not to feel alone. I wanted to tell her I'm proud of her words. She left a mark on me.
The author has many thoughts of self harm and suicide and this book should not be read for people that may find that triggering.
