Going into this I didnt read the synopsis. So I had no idea what to expect.
I was quickly invested. I liked how each part focuses on just one suspect instead of mixing them all at once. Giving enough background to make you think any of them could have been guilty.
By the end I was a little disappointed by the reveal. Even the very last part which left it way too open in my opinion. While I have a theory on who it was I would have liked to know for sure.

Suspense and drama galore.
Many characters but well written as is the storyline.
I love Nicola Moriarty and this is another cracker of a read.
My thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for my early copy.

Nicola Moriarty’s previous thriller You Need To Know (2021) was memorable for getting very intense very suddenly. I’ve been waiting for her next book ever since.

Every Last Suspect is original and unusual. It opens with Harriet lying dying, trying to work out who killed her. We get chunks on each of the suspects.

It’s involved and intricate, there are plenty of characters to try and remember, though Nicola Moriarty does a great job at building the main characters and holding it all together. It’s a m*rder mystery with a lot more going on besides.

I found the plot a little indirect, and it’s harder to build up momentum with so many characters. It manages to stay on the right side of confusing, but you do need to pay attention.

Sort of a mixed recommendation, You Need To Know is still my favourite of her thrillers but Every Last Suspect definitely held my interest.

Thanks to Netgalley and Michael Joseph, Penguin Random House
