Absolutely loved this novel from Anna Freeman, even more so because it was set in the city in which I live. (I knew of all the locations, which made this book so much more fun and interesting for me). But even if it wasn't Bristol-based, this is a wonderfully-written, perfect historical novel that I couldn't put down. Despite mainly reading chick-lit, I had to give this one a try, and was so glad I did.
