This book is filled with heartache but also such beautiful moments. I flew though this book in one night, I loved being back with Holly and her family and friends.

Everything about this book has you wanting to snuggle up under a blanket with the fire on a loaded hot chocolate on the side.

Hannah is one of my favourite authors, I'm loving this series and the wildflower lock series so much.

An easy 5⭐️ read

Thank you Net Galley for the ARC! Overall this book was okay. There was some good themes of friendship and support, but it was hard to connect to the characters because things felt rushed. There was a lack of depth in this book that makes it easy to connect to characters. Third person perspective is not my favorite when it comes to how books are written and that may be partly the reason.

It was a quick but sad read. The story starts off with hope and the possibility of an engagement. It quickly turns sad with a death. The rest of the story deals with how people grieve in different ways. Well written, but definitely have kleenex nearby in case of tears.
I received an ARC copy from NetGalley and the publisher. All opinions are my own.

I enjoyed this story and this was my first book by this author.
This is an at times gut wrenching, at times heartwarming, at times heartbreaking story of love and loss and how to stay afloat and keep on going when you do not think it’s possible. It’s about family and friendships and how integral both are in life. Holly and her little girl Hope find that out when one day their lives are forever changed.
This was well done and really captures the different ways people grieve and also find a way to carry on.

Evan wants to take his live in girlfriend, Holly, on a relaxing weekend to the lake district in the UK. Holly's friend put the idea in her head he was going to propose. On this weekend, Evan proves to be a hero but at what expense. Unexpected events alter the lives of so many. Holly decides to cancel Christmas and go to America, where Evan lived, and his family is there. She and her daughter, Hope, left England and arrived in America. It is emotional, the journey through the grief they have to start to go through, Life still goes on, and we see their struggles, their mistakes, their, coming together, to help each other, and the everyday things they must face. Reflects of shock, grief and struggling to move forward. The settings in both UK and USA were beautiful, it was easy to read but I found it very sad. Much Thanks to Boldwood Books through NetGalley and the author.

What an emotional read! I was not expecting how this would develop but found that the sensitive issue of grief and how everyone reacts differently was well written. There were some parts where I found that some of the characters were a bit too intrusive but other parts where I found some of them extremely supportive. Evan surprises Holly with a romantic weekend away but while there events change the course of their lives for ever. This covers romance, friendship, family and grief. I would highly recommend reading the previous books in this series to gain an understanding of how everyone is connected but this can be read as a standalone. Thanks to Boldwood Books and Netgalley for the ARC

This book will break your heart over and over. I think I cried for the entire read.

Very well written story about love and loss, not a particularly fun festive read the romance is there but there’s no happy ending.

Holly is learning how to live through loss and spends time with her partners family as part of her grieving process.

You will need a lot of tissues and will then spend a lot of time hugging loved ones after!

Hannah Lynn is a brilliant writer. this book is an emotional rollercoaster that I lived through with all the characters, the main one being Holly who's life is changed forever in one afternoon.

Romance, grief and friendship are all in this wonderfully written book, I couldn't put it down.

A perfect read for a horrible day with a cup of tea and a comforting bar of chocolate!

Snowflakes Over the Second Chances Sweet Shop, by Hannah Lynn, is not at all what I expected.  This was a sad one.  It's still a good story, but just realize it is not a happy holiday romance! Thanks, NetGalley and the publisher, for providing me with the ARC ebook I read and reviewed. All opinions are my own.

A good but sad follow up in the sweet shop series. Holly loses a loved one and the book follows her through her grief. I would say that the title doesn’t say anything about what happens in the book, as it’s not Christmassy nor festive but just very sad. I have a feeling we will see more of Holly in the future, she has to get her happy ending with daughter Hope and I’m sure that may include Giles.

I received a free copy of, Snowflakes Over the Second Chances Sweet Sop, by Hannah Lynn, from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This is book seven of seven in The Holly Berry Sweet Shop series. Holly Berry and her daughter Hope, are starting over after the loss of her beloved partner, so she decides to spend the Christmas holidays in the US. I found this book to be good, but very sad.

Liked the story, but felt the end was too abrupt and I felt the “friends” seemed more like nosey neighbors…..a little far fetched to think one would just show up after crossing an ocean…even best friends would call or text first. Loved the interaction between Holly and Evan’s family;.main character was written very well!

I was not ready for this book, I wanted a happy ever after for them. It was so sad and I’m angry for them that this happened. I wanted louts of little babies and a gorgeous life for Holly and Hope. That being said it was well written and the friendships and the way the family was all woken in was great. Thank you NetGalley for this arc in exchange for an honest review.

Then tragedy strikes and her world is turned upside down. She goes to America to spend time with Evan’s family not realising she needs to be with her friends and family at this time but they don’t forget her.

Snowflakes Over the Second Chances Sweet Shop ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Don’t let this cover fool you. This is not the happy, light hearted tale it appears to be. This is a story of love and loss. When I tell you I absolutely SOBBED. I never cry. This book destroyed me. Automatic five stars.

I would recommend checking content warnings before reading if you are sensitive to any particular topics.

This book 2 in a series and I haven’t read book one yet.
I enjoyed reading it. Even decided to surprise his girlfriend Holly, and she didnt know it but he was going to propose to her.
When they arrived they walk down th e beach and there was child out on thin ice.Even went out to save him and didn’t make it.
Holley cancels Christmas and goes to America where Even lived, and his family was there.
This could be a standalone book because it start with the people that are there and tells their journey from there.
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC
