Thank you to Net Galley and the publisher for my advanced readers copy of Kiss and Make Love by Luna Day.

A collection of short stories, this book is bound to get your heart racing. Some super sweet romance stories and a couple of intense hot ones as well.
If you like LGTBQ romance, there's some of that in there too.
It's a nice writing style that will flutter your heart, make you smile and blush.

Absolutely LOVE that it started out with a super short story because sometimes you just need that little push to go ahead and finish the entire book of stories in one sitting 😂

The stories were engaging and didn’t feel forced even though they were short. You could truly connect with the characters. Great for in between longer books when you need a palette cleanser.

Kiss and Make Love is a collection of ten short stories, that all varied in length and amount of spice.

The first one and the last one are connected, in a way, the rest can stand on their own.

The first one happens after a one-night stand, when she wants to leave, like many times before, but something makes her stay, and the last one is a similar situation, but many years after. This was my favorite part of the book. It didn't go where I thought it would and ended up being so romantic... How one little choice can change the entire course of your life...

Two stories I especially loved, were the one with speed dating-it was seriously the cutest, and the one with football players from the opposing teams, with incredible chemistry. It was sizzling!

Each story is very different, in genre, tropes, and spice. At times the writing could use a bit more work, especially in developing the romance. But regardless of that, I read the whole collection in one go, and I couldn't put it down. It's sexy and romantic and there are so many different flavors of it, that you are sure to find something you like. :)

I would first like to appreciate the beauty of the cover. It's absolutely stunning. All the stories kept me hooked. My most loved story was The Professor, which also happens to be the lengthiest one. My views on each short story are as follows:-
1) The Early Morning After - This was a refreshing beginning of the book. It's a sweet story of unnamed characters where a One Night Stand turns to something more.
2) The Professor - This story is the smuttiest story I have ever read. The age gap didn't disgust me. Brett is the Greek God. Spencer is the beautiful young lady who's openly bisexual. This particular segment made me feel a lot of emotions.
3) The Book Club - I wished that Molly and Theo's chemistry was written in much more detail. His shift from being shy to being a naughty mouth seemed too abrupt. The smut level was to the point.
4) The Exhibitionist - This again was the smuttiest one, and can make any reader curl their toes. Layla and James' love story involves the adrenaline rush of making love in public. Their story was hilarious as well.
5) The Fantasy - Honestly, this one caught me off guard. The ending was just superb. I want you all to read this one!
6) The Rivals - This was a sports and enemies to lovers romance (one of my favourite tropes). Moreover, I liked how inclusive this book was by incorporating LGBTQIA+ representation. Alex was the dominating hot guy and even I would melt when he would call Cooper as Coop. This one was a moderately good read for me.
7) The Road Trip - This was a brother's best friend and enemies to lovers romance. The setting of the story was emotional. However, knowing the severity of the situation, I wish they had a road trip to the airport. I really wanted to know the reaction of the brother! Please give me that.
8) The Speed Dates - This one was the sweetest of all! Long lost friends and LGBTQIA+ representation. There wasn't any smut. The ending was open ended, allowing readers to take in what they read.
9) The Same Train of Thought - This was a sweet read. At first I thought it was a dream. Loved the nameless characters, especially the female one. And the plot was just fantastic.
10) The Early Morning Return - This is in continuation with the first chapter of the book (The Early Morning After). I loved how this book ended with this particular chapter.
Overall, this book will make you sweat. The stories were of varying smut levels, and I loved reading them. If you're into reading Erotica, or romance with an abundance of touching, this collection of short stories is apt for you. This is my recommendation!

Great variety of works, with a good flowing prose. I was also pleasantly surprised by the emotional ties and arcs in these shorts stories too, it gave it more substance and grit, it felt even more satisfying for it. My fave was the The Book Club

Reading Kiss and Make Love made me realize how underrated and underutilized short stories are. I loved all the short stories in Day's work. I thought all of them were incredibly well-written and I genuinely enjoyed reading each story. There weren't any that I did not like or lost interest in. I decided to read these in the order it was published. All the stories were so different from each other, but all had great characters and it didn't matter the length of the story, the characters all felt pretty much fully formed. I loved that some stories were a little more spicy than others but I liked the variety between all of them. I would definitely read more from Luna Day. This was my first time reading her work, but it will not be my last.

Thank you Net Galley and Love Lit Press for the ARC.

Overall Rating: 3.5⭐
To read this book more pleasantly, you need to have a lower sense of morality😂
Details:
The Professor - 3.5⭐The first half is quite cute, yet the latter part seems somewhat unreal, a bit rose-tinted maybe, and the transition of the supporting character(Llewellyn) feels forced. Feels like Llewellyn was added just to prolong the story, without significantly advancing the plot.😔
The Exhibitionist - 2⭐Errr sry I'm not that into this kink... Felt really awkward when reading this.
The Fantasy - 3⭐Still a cute one.
The Rivals - 4.5⭐The most well-rounded story in the entire book, it does a good job of building sexual tension, advancing the plot, and developing the relationships. Anyways I go weak in the knees for enemies to lovers trope.(*shrugs)
The Road Trip - 2.5⭐It could be written better. I only see a condescending male protagonist and a stereotypical female lead.('sweet little thing'... Oh hell no.) Also, I think the FMC should also be a workaholic?? Why is she so unwilling to accept the male protagonist's work-first attitude? She holds multiple jobs herself and leads a busy life, doesn't she? Here is a bit contradictory.
The Speed Date - 4⭐Cute. Very short, but the blank space leaves an aftertaste.
The Same Train of Thought - 2⭐Like a daydream of a mediocre man... No thanks.
The Early Morning After & Return - 4⭐No plots, no sex scenes, but simply merging these two scenes into one story is fresh enough to me.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the arc in exchange for an honest review.🩷

As soon as I heard about the release of Kiss and Make Love by Luna Day, I couldn’t WAIT to read it. After first reading Three Hearts Hideaway, I had a good idea what to expect in the author’s writing: relatable characters, heart wrenching stories, Canadian representation 🇨🇦 and last but definitely not least - VERY well written spice 🌶️

Kiss and Make Love both met these expectations and surprised me. I knew it was a compilation of spicy romance short stories. What I didn’t expect was the variety of different stories - from ones that were short and sweet - to some longer ones - and everything in between. Each story was written in a different way with very unique and memorable characters, with varying levels of spice in each one. The Professor and the Road Trip were some highlights for me, but the one that gave me happy tears was The Early Morning Return — AHHH THE FEELS! 🥹🫠😍

What also gave me the feels was the author’s note to the reader giving us a background to her own story and how she got to writing Kiss and Make Love 💕 Her vulnerability has an empowering effect on her readers to prioritize their well-being and pursue their passions, since life is so much more than work.

Fun, sexy, and beautifully written. In a market over saturated with so many repetitive romance stories Luna’s originality and talent shine so brightly!

I had to DNF this book at 51%

This book was a bunch of short stories which I liked however it just fell flat and boring. To me it was more of a porn without too much of a story line. They meet they “mess around” and then the story ends abruptly. I thought I could continue but I just couldn’t get though it unfortunately because I really wanted to love this book like I liked the authors first book. I don’t think it’s fair to rate this book because I didn’t complete it entirely. Thank you to Luna Day and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this.

Steamy stories have a way of igniting the imagination, and "Kiss and Make Love" does just that: this collection of stories is more than series of smutty chapter, but a full experience beautifully written with the perfect balance of humour & spice.

What I especially loved was the thoughtful chapter list/ spice rating at the beginning—perfect for readers who like to know just how hot things will get before jumping in.

Each story stands out in its own right, but "The Fantasy" was my favourite- I only wish we could see more of Georgia and Marco in the future, I'd easily devour a full length novella about them!

The book's beautiful cover is almost much a work of art as the stories themselves.. it is an absolute visual delight—stunning colors and beautiful character design!

If youre looking for a palette cleanser or a fun and steamy escape, "Kiss and Make Love" is a must-read.

This book was great! I love romance books, and this one was no exception! The characters were wonderful and realistic, the plot was well written, and the setting was gorgeous. I cannot wait until this is published so everyone can read it!

Loved the writing of this book! It's so poetic!

This book features a series of short stories of varying lengths and spice levels that are not intertwined for the most part. They are soo good! THis book fixed my book slump (because it was so awesome)!

I actually requested this ARC solely based off of the cover art and I'm so glad I did! I really enjoyed every single story in this collection and really liked how diverse the plots were. It was fun not knowing what kind of story you were gonna read next or even how long it would be. While the majority of the stories were MF, there was a MM and a FF story mixed in which I loved! My favorite story was The Road Trip! I could've read a whole book of those two characters! Loved the way the author made the ending tie in to the beginning!

Warning‼️This book will put you in the mood 😏❤️‍🔥

I was feeling the spicy romance books lately and decided to get my fill with this lovely little romarotica full of short stories

You know how sometimes you just wanna skip to the good part? Every story in this book was the good part lol! It scratched my brain so well! Some had deep moments with backstory which I enjoyed but most of them just got straight to it 🥵

Another thing I liked was that none of the stories included the 3rd act breakup (which I personally dislike most of the time), so everything was just full of happy relationships and good times 💫

Also love the inclusivity with different types of pairings and different POVs

The only thing I didn’t love was some of the wording (describing sex scenes are never the most serious haha)

But if you like short stories/novellas, fast burn open door romances, and sex positive writing/authors…then I would recommend giving this book a whirl!

This was such a fun, enjoyable read! Full of short and spicy reads.

I love a novella or short read but sometimes you can finish it feeling like something was missing, that wasn’t the case with any of these stories!

Don’t get me wrong though I would still eat up full length novels for any of these couples (the professor and the rivals being my faves)!

There’s something for everyone with this book, so many amazing tropes. It would be perfect to pick up and choose one story at random if you were in a slump or wanted something fun and spicy in between books, though I did read it start to finish in one sitting!

Can’t recommend this enough, or Luna’s debut Three Hearts Hideaway.

Kiss and Make Love is a fun anthology of short romances that offers 10 stories, each with unique characters and plots, exploring different loves and connections.
This was such a refreshing read and it's perfect for someone who wants to spend a day with cute, contemporary stories, or if you want short story between your heavier reads. It's an easy book to pick up, delve into for a quick read, and come back to when you need more. The longest story is about an hour, and the shortest is only a few minutes so no matter how much time you have, you can pick this one up.
All 10 short stories are engaging and fun and I look forward to picking them up anytime I need a lighter, quick read. My personal favorites were The Professor, The Exhibitionist, The Fantasy, and Road Trip. I loved these stories and the characters and the light tension in them. But all of the short stories were great reads that I enjoyed.
So if you're looking for a refreshing, spicy read, Kiss and Make Love is for you.

I got this book purely based on the cover by queen Brittany Keller.

This book is a collection of short-steamy romance stories, varying in length. They are well written, and despite their short length the characters are fleshed out. Day achieved exactly what she was aiming for when writing this collection, and I thought it was a great read in between heavier books. (The story 'The Professor' made me laugh. I need a comedic story about Llewellyn.)

Day's writing is evocative and sensuous, with a strong focus on character emotions. Her writing is both engaging and descriptive, capturing the intensity of the romantic and intimate moments between the characters. It's a compelling and enjoyable read that will keep you hooked until the last page.

Thankyou to Luna Day, the publisher, and Netgalley for an e-arc in exchange for an honest review

Kiss and Make Love by Luna Day is a collection of short steamy stories. This is delivered exactly what the description said it would. The cover is stunning, and what drew me into the book. Personally, I only truly enjoyed one story and that was The Professor. I enjoyed the plot in this a lot as well as all the tension building and waiting until the end the term. I would love for that short story to be expanded into its own book. Honestly I sped read most of the other short stories, none capturing my attention in the same way. My taste in reading may have been changing, as I need plot and spice spilt evenly, which could have impacted why I didn’t connect with the other stories.
Thank you Net Galley & Luna Day for this arc!!

4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
3/5 🌶️🌶️🌶️

I enjoyed these short stories! I appreciated the variety of stories and that there were some of all different lengths for you to choose how long of a story you wanted to read! Very unique! Most of these are spicy with a few that weren’t. The writing was funny at times and emotional at others! I was invested!

I’m not a huge novella person for the fact that I love a story to sink into. There were a few stories that felt full but many that I just wanted and needed more of! I would have love to see several of them elaborated on!

My favorites were The Professor and The Rivals!

I would recommend this to readers who enjoy fast burn and romantic novellas! Thank you to NetGalley for an advanced copy film to review.
