Set in an alternate history Steapmpunk London this fast paced novel features a young heroine who has to use her wits and skills to survive the brutal streets of London. Plucked from the streets and turned into a special agent for Her Majesty. The story is enjoyable while still serving as an unflattering look at industrial society in the early 20th century. Even in an alternate universe it's a pretty unpleasant place. A lot of fun and well written.
