This is a wonderful story that is perfect for the summer. Callum is feeling fedup after a failed.exchange programme and, in a moment of rashness, decides not to board the eurostar home with the rest of the group and instead stays in Paris, hpping a cousin he barely.knows will put him up, Calum is looking for a bit of fun, but what he gets is far more than that.

Night-time chases through Paris, meeting a beautfiul woman and changing the course of his life, Calum certainly lives his dream in this heart-warming and funny novel.

It's a perfect, unputdownable summer read, even more so if you're heading to the Olympics in Paris.

I loved this. Exactly what I have come to expect from Meg Rosoff. I thought it was brilliant and didn't want it to end

When Callum reaches the end of his French exchange and realises it really hasn't gone as he expected... he accidentally on purpose misses the train home! Where now??? He walks across Paris in the sweltering heat and finds his cousin. Before he knows it he's caught up in a 48hour race against time involving theft, protests, seating heat and a big dollop of humour

Meg Rosoff has the brilliant ability to so acutely capture the teenage voice with delicacy, humour and respect. Another great page turner from Rosoff!
