In his book, Anthony Pompliano shares his advice on How to Live an Extraordinary Life through a series of short letters to his two children. Through the pages, the readers can find interesting perspectives on various topics to inspire them to take control of their lives and achieve remarkable outcomes.

One of the book's strengths is its focus on taking action. Pompliano doesn't just offer cloudy ideas but lays out specific steps for improving key aspects of life, from mental resilience and personal development to financial independence, entrepreneurship, and building meaningful connections. However, some topics felt underdeveloped and could have benefitted from more personal anecdotes or stronger examples. For example, the author mentions Bitcoin in multiple instances where I think other examples would have been more suited, especially given his vast experience with entrepreneurship. Additionally, the letter style of the book is not necessarily my favourite format, but this is up to each reader's taste.

Overall, I enjoyed the book and found some of the viewpoints and principles of living a purpose-driven life interesting. It is a quick read that serves as a good introduction for people new to personal development books.

I hadn't read this author before. I hadn't even heard of him, but that title? The scariest thought I have is getting to the end of this thing we call life and having more regrets than wins. I liked that he wrote this to his children as a way to convey to them all he had already been through and what they could learn from him in written form. I truly felt like I was getting intel that would actually serve me in meeting the goal of living a life worth trying for and waking up to. I'm grateful for the title.

The bottom line is that this was not for me.
I will include what I found useful and leave my negative remarks for myself. There were a couple of sound but common sense advice.
I apologise but I have little positive things to say about this book.
I hope the right audiences and this book meets though.

How to Live an Extraordinary Life by Anthony Pompliano is an excellent book. The author wrote 65 letters to his children, Sophia and Leo filled with advice for their future. This isn't one of those books where someone is dying and wants to leave behind their wisdom. This is just a sweet dad that wanted to write down all that he has learned so far in life to share with his kids who are still quite young, definitely not old enough to appreciate all this wisdom.

Most of it is just plain common sense, but so many people don't use that. It is nice to have a reminder. For example, he explains how he is glad he didn't meet their mom when he was younger because he wasn't ready for a committed relationship. Other relationships led him down the right path and made him more compassionate.

One tip I really liked that everyone could learn from is to not waste anyone's time. I can't stand those kind of people- you know, the ones you bump into at the grocery store, and they hold you hostage for a half an hour. My husband has a cousin that does that at wakes, holding up the line until it is out the door.

I highly recommend this book for everyone. It is filled with wonderful advice. I wish every parent would do write a book like this for their kids.
