There’s real emotional weight here, and some beautiful passages that linger. While the pacing slows in parts, the novel ultimately offers a thoughtful reflection on conflict, belonging, and human resilience.

Talented writing bringing you into the lives of Khaled and his wife amongst the climate in their lands. Heart rendering at times and powerful.
The author covers so much history about the happenings in the regions showing exceptional research and deep emotion for his characters
