I absolutely loved this book! I loved the characters, Franca and Raff, the all year round Christmas street they own shops on, the shops they own (handmade snow globes and nutcrackers) and I loved the fact they both rediscovered their passion for their craft and for Christmas.

Franca and Raff don't get off to a great start, they've worked on the same street for 18 months and they hate each other - though more precisely, Franca hates Raff, his shop, his snow globes and everything he stands for. She blames him and his family for matching her parents together many years ago when their relationship ended so badly when Franca was 9 (she is now 38!).

After inadvertently causing Franca to break her fingers on her right hand, he steps up to help her fulfil her nutcracker orders. Each nutcracker is made by hand to order according to the customer specifications but with her dominant hand being broken, she would be unable to fulfil the orders. The two start spending all day everyday together and it gives them both a chance to get to know one another and for Raff to finally find out why Franca hates him so much. In turn, Franca learns that Raff is actually a pretty good guy and that it's not his, or his family's, fault that her parents didn't work out.

While they're getting to know each other, they're also trying to save both their shops from being evicted. Something Franca was only too happy to see happen to Raff only a month before! But now that she's rediscovered her love for her craft, she can't think of anything worse than being evicted and now that she knows what a great person Raff is, she can't stand the thought of him being evicted either. Together they work to save their stores but it's not as easy as it might seem.

Franca is a strong, independent and capable woman, but she was so caught up in needing to blame someone for her parents marriage imploding that she seemed to be quite a bitter and twisted person at the beginning of the book. I'm glad she evolved over the story and let go of the hurt and hatred that she'd been holding onto.

I honestly wish this street was real! I love Christmas and I would love to have my own handcrafted nutcrackers and snow globes!

Another magical story and romance happening in the Ever After Street!!! This was is taking place around Christmas and therefore is even more magical than the other stories in this series of books written by the wonderful author Jaimie Admans! This story is very lovely, magical, the main characters are likeable (I could fall in love with the main male character!!!), and I loved the storyline! I give this book 4 stars out of 5!

Fairytales meet Christmas on Ever After Street which leads these fiery enemies to lovers through a sweet romance that you won't want to miss! Christmas Ever After is the cul-de-sac at splits off of Ever After Street and as you can imagine, all the shops on Christmas Ever After are Christmas themed, but what happens when the Nutcracker shop and the snow globe shop have declared war on each other? Yep, fireworks all around. Ok, maybe not fireworks exactly, but as they say there is a fine line between love and hate which our main characters prove once again! As always, wonderful characters complete with witty dialogue, tear inducing emotions and snorting out loud with laughter all wrapped around a fun plot. The plot is extremely well written and will have you wanting to curl up with a cup of cocoa or hot cinnamon tea while you read the day away! This is the perfect Christmas addition to the Ever After series. I do highly recommend that you read the series in order as you will gain hours of wonderful entertainment as well as getting to know all the characters so much better. Many characters from previous books make an appearance in this book so the backstories will help you connect even more with the book!

I loved this sweet Christmas story in what seems like a Christmas village I would want to go to. This story will make you want to decorate, make cookies and wish for snow. It had lovable characters and magical snow globes; I love snow globes so that being said naturally I would love it just from that. catch line.

For everyone on Ever After Street it is the most wonderful time of year, except for Franca Andrews and that is to keep her Nutcracker shop. This Christmas shops are pitted against each other and there is only one shop standing in her way. Dardenne Snow Globes have a magical reputation for bringing lover together, a myth that Raff Dardenne continues to exploit, which is making Franca crazy. But when disaster strikes, she is unable to make her Nutcrackers and the only person to help her is her nemesis himself Raff. When Franca sees another side to Raff, he is kind and caring and so handsome. Can they put their scheming aside and find some magic of their own?

Christmas Ever After is an absolutely delightful Christmas romance. It is the 4th book in the Ever After Street series, but the first I have read and I had no problems enjoying it or following the story. It is Christmas time and Franca Andrews is miserable. Her nutcracker business is not bustling and she has to do something or her shop will close. Dardenne Snow Globes is the business next door and she wants to show everyone that Raff Dardenne is a fraud and their snow globes are not magically bringing couples together. With all their bickering, the team responsible for leases of the buildings give them a challenge. Franca must increase her social media presence and Raff must match 5 couples before Christmas. The loser of the challenge will lose their lease. When disaster strikes and Franca's hand is injured, she needs serious help. It is Raff that steps up to help her. The more time they spend together, the more they realize that they were wrong about each other. Will they both be able to save their businesses? Will they fall in love as they help each other achieve their goals?

This is such a feel good story. It is full of Christmas cheer and festivities. Raff's family is awesome and loves Christmas and all their traditions. Franca is a loner, not speaking to her family, which has helped her to forget what she used to love about Christmas. The way Raff and Franca help each other find what they used to love about their work was wonderful. This is an enemies to friends to lovers story, which is very well written. The secondary characters play a huge part in this story and some of their antics are hilarious. If you enjoy a good Christmas romance, a story with great characters and lots of Christmas magic, then I recommend you pick up Christmas Ever After. I am definitely going to read the previous books in this series.

Jaimie Admans is pretty much the queen of slow-burn clean Christmas stories. There's always more to these stories than first believed. There's underlying mental anguish and the issue of expecting too much at Christmas time, and being sad in the lead up to this momentous day. As always, as in her previous books, these issues are thoroughly discussed and teased out, with a romantic element then tying these main characters together.
Adman's books are very unique and hard to forget.

This was a sweet christmas read. Didn’t know it was part of a series. Now I need to read the other books.

This was a very sweet, festive (even when it's not the festive time of year) story. I didn't realize it was part of a series at first, but that didn't matter as I was reading it. The story was still really enjoyable even without any prior knowledge of the characters or community.

The characters and community were great in this one. It's the kind of book that's sweet and simple and made me smile.

A freak accident at the start of the busiest season sees Franca get hurt which means she can’t work, help arrives with the person she least expects any help from Raff. Franca grudgingly accepts his offer and she gradually gets to see what a lovely kind caring person he really is and realises she has been wrong about him all along.

This was a sweet Christmas story with substance. Don’t be put off by this book being in a series. I didn’t realize it was in a series till I was mostly through it. You won’t feel like you’re missing anything.

Franca kind of has an unfair grudge against Raff. His family sells magical slow globes that are supposed to tell the holders when they are meant to be together. Franca’s parents met because of one and had a nasty divorce.
And now Franca and Raff have both had businesses on Ever After Street for a few years.
Franca has suggested, kind of accidentally, a competition with only one winner. Either Franca’s nutcracker shop stays or Raff’s family snow globe shop.

Then Franca accidentally hurts herself and Raff winds up helping her make her nutcrackers. He turns out to be a wonderfully kind man.

Now Franca regrets that only one of them can stay. Because Ever After Street is the perfect place for both of them. It’s a collections of shops that celebrate the holidays year round.

Will they both stay? Is it possible?

I thought this book was sweet and enjoyable. Likable lead characters, especially Raff. Nice and Christmassy and I liked how vulnerable the characters are with each other.

Book Review: Christmas Ever After

I recently read Christmas Ever After by Jaimie Admans, and it was an absolute delight! This charming festive romance swept me into the enchanting world of Ever After Street, where magic and love intertwine in the most heartwarming ways.

Franca Andrews, the protagonist, had me rooting for her from the start. Running a struggling nutcracker shop during the bustling holiday season, she faces the seemingly insurmountable challenge of competing against Raff Dardenne, the talented snow globe maker. The tension between them was palpable and so well-written, capturing the essence of rivalry and the potential for something more.

What I loved most was how Franca’s character developed throughout the story. Initially consumed by frustration, she slowly discovers Raff’s kind, humorous side, revealing layers to him that make him incredibly relatable. Their chemistry crackled as they navigated their professional rivalry, and it was a joy to watch them evolve from adversaries to allies.

The setting itself was as vibrant as the characters. Admans paints a picturesque picture of a Christmas wonderland, filled with twinkling lights and holiday cheer. I could almost smell the gingerbread and hear the laughter echoing through the streets. The small-town charm added a cozy backdrop that made the festive atmosphere all the more enchanting.

I had to dnf after the first couple of pages cause it made me uncomfortable and was gross. I get maybe it was supposed to be quirky and funny but it was not and if that is the writers humor I am not reading any further.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The authors writing style had me hooked throughout this book.

I didn't want it to end, a book I really couldn't put down.

Can there be anything more Christmassy than a story involving a nutcracker shop and a Snow Globe shop, I mean with the exception of setting the story in Santa’s village on the eve of the big day itself I’m thinking this maybe the most Christmas themed of reads I’ve read and it made me feel the full spirit of the season, even reading at the very end of August.

It’s always such a joy to read one of Jaime Adman’s books, I especially love her Ever After series as they are just so magical. In this book, Christmas Ever After we get to see some old faces (if you’ve read before) and also get to know some new ones. Whilst this is a book in a series and we see some previous characters, I definitely think it could be read as a stand-alone and not lose out on anything.

I absolutely love Christmas, its probably my favourite time of the year, just spending time with family and friends, this story reminded me so much why I love the season so much and made me more excited for the next couple of months. I love Ever After street and the thought and images iof walking through it, all decorated abd the cute shops, I just wanted Togo there myself even more !

I love the slow burn we have with Franca and Raff, and although it reads as enemies to lovers on the synopsis, they only stay enemies for a very short portion of the book (but no spoilers fro me) I loved their story, the family side of Christmas again highlights my joy of the season. This is simply a wonderful Christmas story that reminds me of all the best things about Christmas and it’s definitely going to be a seasonal reread now.

My Thoughts :
Christmas Ever After, is part of the Ever After Street series.
In this story we focus on Franca Andrews who owns a Nutcracker shop and Raff Dardenne, maker of snow globes and owns a shop.
Neither of them see eye to eye and really dont get on, years ago Franca’s parents were matched by one of the Dardenne family snow globes made by Raff’s grandfather and had a very unhappy marriage.
She thinks its all a con and complains to the council, who then in turn decide that one of the shops need to go in the new year as both shops do not work in the street.
But when Franca has an accident with her fingers, she can no longer make her Nutcrackers, Raff offers to help and soon the couple are forced together and the sparks fly in more ways than one.
As we continue with the story can they fall in love or were they always destined to hate each other!?.
Once again Jaimie Admans delivers us a festive treat. I really loved the blurb for this story and knew it was one I had to pick up and read, seeing as I am a fan of her previous work.
We are soon dropped right into all the festivities and made to feel all warm and fuzzy with the surroundings. It was great to revisit some past characters aswell.
Jaimie Admans, creates a community that we can relate to and I feel I am always routing for the characters in question and wanting to live on the street.
Great supporting cast as always and a few treats added in for good measure.
