This one was my favorite of the series, but it comes very close to Ghosted. This one had more romance. It's a little instalovey but more complex.

I adored Max and Anna's dynamic. Doreen was something else. Definitely my favorite side character. Every time she said something, I was laughing. This was so well written and the magical elements are my favorite. I could not stop turnimg the pages! So glad I didn't have to wait till October to read this one. I will definitely read more of this author in the future.

This is my favorite Sarah Ready book so far. I really enjoyed reading this whimsical love story.

I first met Max‘s character in the book Fated and was hoping Sarah Ready would do a story about him. I actually agree that passion is not love. Passion/Lust is not long term. Without love, the feelings eventually fade.

I also loved Anna and her honesty to a fault personality. I love the fact that she wished it and then tried to take it back because she realized the feelings needed to be real. Anna and Max were adorable and I loved their story. I hope to see more of them.

I’d like to thank NetGalley for this advance reader copy in exchange for an honest review.

First of all, thankyou to netgalley for giving me an early copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I didn't realise this was a part of a series however it didn't bring down my enjoyment of this book. I will definitely be reading the rest of the series now that I have finished this book

When I barely understood what was going on in this book but I still enjoyed every minute of it.

This has by far been my favourite romance series of all time. Sarah Ready I will forever worship the ground you walk on for creating these masterpieces🙏

Wished, unfortunately, did not pass the standards that Ghosted set for me, but I had expected that. No one does it like Daniel Abry🤭🩷

Nonetheless, I loved this book, I loved the characters and I'm sad the series is done💔 hopefully I'll reread soon.

Thank you to Netgalley for the arc!

The books started off slow for me a little. Some part had me questioning the relationship. But once I got further into the books I truly enjoyed it. This is my first book by this author and I will say I’m going to continue to read more from her!

Wished is the fourth book in the Ghosted series. Although it wasn't my favorite book in the series, it still had the charming storytelling typical of Sarah Ready. The concept was very intriguing, involving granting wishes by wishing upon a necklace. The romance between Max and Annie was very sweet and felt authentic. The writing was great, but seeing the story from both Annie's and Max's perspectives would have been more interesting. While the story was creative, it didn't captivate me as much as the other books in the series.

Thank you to NetGalley and to Swift & Lewis Publishing LLC | for giving me a copy of the book.

WELL LA DEE FRIGGEN DA. Here I was thinking this was gonna be a cutesey little magical realism rom com that I could easily walk away from unscathed. What did I find? WHAM! I’ve been shot in square in the love pancreas. I cried I got so invested. Am I sensing accusations from the peanut gallery that I tend to have more feelings than the average human or bear, or am I being paranoid and defensive? Either way why don’t you just can it Judge Judy and just let me live.
Max and Anna’s story ended up being so sweet that I just yearned all over the place. The adventures they shared made me want to book an immediate European vacation abandoning my job and fiscal responsibility. I loved Anna and how she expressed herself in such an open and generous way. Max also made such an excellent MMC with his charm, earnestness and high quality rizz putting me at risk of swooning into oncoming traffic. Their romantic juices were everywhere, I loved their love, and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time rooting for them but believing that they could make it. The spice was also nice like three peppers 🌶️🌶️🌶️

PS thank you to NetGalley and Swift & Lewis Publishing for the opportunity to read this ARC!

Another week, another romance with magical realism! It's pretty much the perfect genre for a rainy summer day and this one was SO cute.

I'd say this is one of the more romantic romances I've read lately! A big part of the story takes place in Paris and the magical setting makes it very swoony without feeling forced. I also really enjoyed the part in Saint Tropez, and the characters are generally very likable and easy to root for.

The one thing I didn't love was the fact that the dialogues were too perfect. When all conversations are deep and meaningful it just doesn't feel real, and I lacked a bit of bantering and silliness. Some of the supporting characters were really funny, but the main characters were serious to an almost philosophical point.

All in all an entertaining, light and cute read!

Oh how I have wished for Max to find his HEA after getting to know him in Fated. I knew I would love reading his story and I LOVED IT! I loved this journey of his to open his heart to love and passion and Anna! I just knew he would be so deliriously happy if he found the right person! And he did, Anna is such a wonderful soul and they are wonderful together. I loved watching Anna and Max find their truest desires through magical wishes. This series is so fun, read them all! Thank you NetGalley for the ARC, I am reviewing this voluntarily

I really liked this book but found it weird in some parts. I would definitely recommend this book to all those who love romance with a twist.

We finally get Max's story in Wished after seeing him pine away for another woman in a previous book.

Anna is such a doll. She wishes for life with Max and she gets. Except she's so guilty about Max reciprocating when everything is imaginary. Set aside your skepticism and just enjoy the ride while reading this book. As usual Sarah does lovely transitions between real and magical and the wrap ups are emotionally very charged and well written.

Do we get more in this series?

First and foremost, thank you NetGalley, the author and publisher for the opportunity to read this ARC, in exchange for an honest review.

I first fell in love with Sarah Ready’s writing when I read Josh and Gemma make a baby, and I loved that book. So when the chance came to read Wished, I didn’t even think twice about it. Wished is a whimsical love story, full of passion and sweet moments. I love these “supernatural” elements in romance novels, and Sarah did it justice with Anna and Max. To see them falling in love was beautiful, I truly liked this one.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC!

This book was absolutely charming! One of the highlights for me was the smooth, engaging writing style. The author struck a great balance between showing and telling, and some of the quotes really resonated with me. Normally, I'm not a fan of the insta-love trope, but this story didn’t really feel that way, even though it technically was. I loved that the female main character (FMC) was clearly in love with the male main character (MMC), but was content just being around him, even if she could never have his love. When she made that wish, a part of her was happy to be married to him, even if it was just to experience what that felt like.

I found the FMC’s character especially relatable, particularly in how she wished happiness for everyone but herself. Those moments brought tears to my eyes, and I really appreciated how the author highlighted that aspect of her personality. The way the trauma was portrayed was exceptional. I can’t even fully express how much I liked it.

That said, I did feel that the MMC handled things a bit too easily, but given that he was dealing with both the effects of the wish and his own feelings, it made sense. I also found the romance to be a bit overly sweet for my taste, but that’s more of a personal preference than a critique of the book itself. Some of the romantic quotes were a bit much for me, which is why I’m deducting a star. However, I want to emphasize that this isn’t necessarily a flaw—just something I didn’t particularly enjoy.

Overall, I’m really thankful for the chance to read this book, and I’m actually looking forward to exploring the rest of the series!

, this books was warm and inviting and pulled my focus of anything else once I started.

I love that this had a little bit of magic and was cantered around wishes coming true, most people wish for a love as sweet and fun as Max and Anna’s.

Received this ARC from @netgalley in exchange for my honest review. I wasn't sure what to expect as I found out after downloading it that it's the 4th book in the series. Without having read the first 3, I was fine and didn't feel like anything was missing.

The premise of the story is that Anna fell in love with Max at first sight... the only problem is that he has no idea she exists. He's the wealthy owner of a jewelry empire passed down in his family for generations, and she's his house cleaner. Anna makes a wish on a magic necklace and wakes up as Max's wife. Suddenly, she has everything she ever wanted, but it feels like it's a lie.

I loved the cute, earnest optimism of Anna. She was honestly an excellent character, and I enjoyed her perspective. Max was a wet blanket for lots of the book and the parts where he wasn't felt like a wet blanket trying not to be. Even at his best, I wasn't a fan. But Anna loves him so... whatever.

This book could be a light beach read, but there are several deeper elements of love and passion that are explored that give it a bit more depth. I enjoyed the "magical wish" element because it played out in a couple of different ways that weren't quite believable, but still felt like they fit the story.

"Wished" is part of the Ghosted series, but I read it as a standalone, which you can do just fine. At least, I didn't feel like I missed anything (though I may be wrong, as I haven't read the others).

I loved the banter, it's so good and somehow unexpected. If you're looking for some light and heartwarming reading, this is it. It's a whimsical romance- what more could you ask for?

In my opinion, "Wished" accomplishes what it sets out to do.

'"Why is it," he asks, "that suddenly I have a slew of memories telling me you always like it when I hold your wrists?" Jeez.'

Thank you to NetGalley and Swift and Lewis Publishing for this ARC.

Wished is the fourth book in Sarah Ready’s Ghosted Series. This time we get to read about Max’s story who we met in the previous book. To be honest I had been feeling a little sorry for his character in how he was treated in that story. So was glad when I saw the fourth book was about him, and I was hoping he would get the happy ending he deserved. This time around the super natural element of the book is based around a wish. As always the book is very well written, you can tell Sarah Ready always puts a lot of research into her story’s as they are so descriptive and spot on with the facts. Another amazing read which I couldn’t put down, such a great story line with lots of depth and emotion to it. Definitely recommend, five well deserved stars.

This book sounded right up my alley with the romance but unfortunately, I couldn’t connect with our main guy and that made me dnf this book. I can’t root for or engage with the romance
