Brilliant brilliant book. I loved the family the festiveness and the snow! This has great strong character’s, fun, festive feels and more. Sadie was fresh out of an unhappy marriage and Pete her ex had left her high and dry and ran off with a younger model. She’s sad and put on by her harridan of a mother. Her family adore her and club together to send her to juniper meadows to have the Christmas she deserves and to have some fun and relaxation.
She meets Dylan and his family who also are on eggshells as he returns to juniper meadows after many years away. They meet and sparks fly. This was just so lovely. I can’t wait to read more in the series. Thank you NetGalley for this arc in exchange for an honest review.

When Sadie Bingham’s life takes an unexpected turn, her children treat her to a well-earned break at Juniper Meadows, the gorgeous Cotswolds estate owned by the Travers family.
The festive season is in full swing, and Sadie throws herself into the packed Twelve Days of Christmas programme, relishing the opportunity to make new friends and new memories.
Single father Dylan Travers hasn’t been to his childhood home of Juniper Meadows for decades. Estranged from his cantankerous father Monty, he has made a happy life for himself in the States. But now with teenage children keen to know more about their roots, Dylan has brought them back to the Cotswolds to meet his family.
As Sadie and Dylan both navigate a Christmas very different from the ones they had expected it's soon clear that, geography apart, they have a great deal in common. And as Dylan confronts his past and Sadie contemplates her future, perhaps the miracle of this Christmas will be the happily-ever-after they both deserve.
My Opinion
Welcome back to Juniper Meadows! Whilst Snow is Falling is the fourth book in the series, it can easily be read as a standalone. Sadie's children have booked her a holiday for Christmas following a life changing discovery. Sarah Bennett has written a charming and delightful novel that I managed to read in one afternoon. This is definitely a book you will want to add to your want to read list for the upcoming festive season.
Rating 4/5
Really enjoyed this book in the Travers family (juniper meadows) series. The family is always outrageously entertaining and I had some worries Sadie’s mom might mess up the flow but it was handled well. Loved the Christmas setting and catching up with old characters as well as meeting new ones. Looking forward to the next in the series.
BLOG TOUR REVIEW
Review for 'Snow Is Falling' by Sarah Bennett.
This book is the fourth book in Sarah's 'Juniper Meadows' series but each book in this series can be read as a standalone.
Yet another absolute stunner from the extremely talented Sarah!!! Well done Sarah another an absolutely gorgeous and perfect read!! This is the ideal fireside read where you could sit there and turn around and just imagine the beautiful Juniper Meadows coming to life around you!
Well, you may have noticed I have started reading festive books regular and very early considering it is only September but it doesn't matter if you are the type who doesn't want to hear the word Christmas until the day or whether you have already started thinking about getting the decorations down because regardless of how you feel about Christmas you will absolutely LOVE this adorable story!! As I have mentioned it is the fourth book in this series, and sadly the last. However, the good thing about reading book series out of order is that you get to go back to the first book in this series which is called 'Where We Belong' and get stuck into the series from the start!!! Be still my beating heart!! I have only read one other book by this incredible author which just so happened to be the third book in this series and is called 'Come Rain Or Shine' and I absolutely LOVED IT!! I must admit that I was a bit dubious on how Sarah was going to manage another storyline better or even just as good as that one but there was absolutely no need to fret as Sarah does it yet again and manages to smash it out of the park only this time festive style!!! I absolutely LOVE, LOVE LOVED this absolutely gorgeous book and I can not only look forward to more books to read when they come out but can go back to the first book 'Where We Belong' while I am waiting for new ones to come out!!! Sarah's absolutely stunning evocative writing skills ensures the readers are absolutely sucked into the stunning storyline with the atmosphere, festivity and characters coming to life all around them. In this beautiful and bitter sweet addition and end to this gorgeous series we follow the story of Dylan Travers and Sadie Bingham. Sadie is looking forward to her holiday with her husband Paul but when she contacts the travel agents they booked the trip through she discovers her name has been replaced by another's. Sadie's life has changed but her grown up children surprise her with a trip to the beautiful Juniper Meadows. Dylan has walked his ex wife down the aisle and after giving his teenage children a choice of holiday the choose Juniper Meadows. Dylan has not been back to his childhood home of Juniper Meadows for decades and his family haven't even met his children. When they arrive his children tell him it is time to start dating again. Will Sadie get the second chance she deserves? Will Dylan be able to move on? How will his family react to his return?? Well, grab your copy of this absolutely gorgeous page turner today and find out for yourselves. I can promise that you will not regret it!! With a storyline ram packed with romance, friendship, Christmas, heartache, love, family, drama and absolutely everything plus much more than you can ever ask for in a festive page turner what are you waiting for? As soon as I got stuck back in to this book it felt like I returning to one of m y favourite holiday destinations again and I loved meeting old friends that I had made in 'Come rain Or Shine' as well as making many new ones. I was just absolutely devastated that it is the last book in this series and I had tears in my eyes saying Goodbye to characters who have started to feel like family so quickly!! the good thing is that I can go back and read the first two books in this series and reunite with some of them again for a short time so that is exactly what I am planning to do as soon as I have finished typing this up! Sarah ensures the reader sees and hears everything going on as well as falling in love with the characters and the beautiful surroundings. I absolutely venturing back into the stunning and love filled Juniper Meadows, meeting the amazing characters including all the amazing animals and getting completely lost in this stunning storyline! I am a huge animal lover and run my own cat rescue called Golden Oldies Cat Rescue and Hospice (you can find me on social media if interested) so any books that contain animals is always a huge bonus for me and this is absolutely rammed with amazing animals from dogs to sheep and much more!! I became so invested in this book that it actually felt like going on a holiday and I absolutely dreaded coming to the end again where I had to unpack my suitcase and get back to reality. It was an absolutely compelling and addictive heart lifting read that kept me turning the pages until late at night. I loved discovering the pasts and histories of the characters and I was absolutely swept away in the story line. The characters and locations came to life around me in this stunning series that I have very quickly fallen in love with. It has everything you could ask for to lose yourself for several hours. I just could not put it down so make sure you clear your schedules!!!! This book and this series would make a beautiful movie!! This book is an absolutely gorgeous, stunning and addictive addition and finale in this absolutely stunning series!!
Do not turn a single page of this book until you have cleared your schedules and when you do get ready to go on a stunning holiday you will not want to leave!!
Although this is the fourth book in this stunning series I had absolutely no problems reading it without reading the first two books. Any details or events that have previously happened are mentioned in just the right amount of detail to let a new reader know what has happened and yet not too much to bore a previous reader.
I very quickly became completely invested in the new characters, along with the storyline, who were all absolutely fantastic with their own individual personalities and quirks. They all started feeling like friends so quickly and I cannot wait to meet some of them along with new characters in the previous books in this stunning series!! I also loved meeting the previous characters from 'Come Rain And Shine' again and it genuinely felt like meeting up with old friends again. When I cane to the end I felt like I was leaving amazing people and friends and feel sad about that! Each of the characters have rich personalities and they will all stay with me for a long time. I absolutely love the fact that Sarah starts the book with a list of all the characters which includes some information on them. This is a fantastic idea and I haven't seen it much and wish more authors would do it. It is very helpful to be able to go back to remind yourself who certain characters are especially when you pick up a book in a series so thank you for this thoughtful addition Sarah!!! This is one of those stunning books where I loved the majority of the characters so much I genuinely could write an essay on them but it would be better for you to meet them for yourself. The fact that Sarah clearly cares about her characters absolutely shines through the pages with the fact that they are so well developed, realistic and every character has a part. I just absolutely adored getting to meet them and I'm looking forward to meeting them all over again in the first and second books in this fantastic series. An absolutely fantastic, unique and memorable group of amazing characters that I wont forget anytime soon!!
Congratulations Sarah on another absolutely gorgeous success!!! I'm definitely looking forward to my next holiday to Juniper Meadows in the first two books in this stunning series!!! This is exactly why you are in my favourite author club and here is to your next success 🥂 !!!
Overall a perfect, stunning, page turning festive fireplace escapism, with a great gang of characters that will sweep you away to Juniper Meadow from the very first page to the end by the extremely talented Sarah Bennett!!

I love this series and good to finally meet Dylan the missing member of the family. Lovely Christmassy story with the hotel making the most of the season and it will definitely get you in the mood. Sadie is a great character and certainly deserves the new chance of romance and a bit of fun in her life. Great book for curling up in front of the fire
would like to thank netgalley and the publisher for letting me read this whimsical christmas book
life for sadie bingham had turned hard when she found out her husband of many years was cheating on her with a younger girl.... but with the advent of christmas upon her as a treat her family had booked her a two week stay over christmas at juniper meadow....
and what a treat it turned out to be....
dylan travers was going home....after decades away from his family his children had asked to go and how could he deny them and it was time to bury the hatchet
juniper meadows wow it sounds whimsical and lovely and i want to stay there... this story has a lovely christmassy feel to it that just didnt getting boring and kept me reading right to the end...
A lovely warm hug of a book! Following her recent divorce, Sadie Bingham's family treat her to a festive break at Juniper Meadows. The ancestral home of the Travers family, the family now run it as a boutique hotel and spa. Returning home for the first time in 30 years is Dylan, youngest of the Travers siblings, with his teenage children. Both Sadie and Dylan are looking for a new start but a new relationship is not in the plan for either of them, particularly not when the other person lives thousands of miles away. As their friendship develops, can they put their differences aside? I read this over one weekend, a perfect read for a cosy weekend.
"Snow is Falling" by Sarah Bennett. What can I say other than I loved it and read in one day. Who doesn’t want to escape to an estate in the country.
When Sadie Bingham’s life takes an unexpected turn, her children treat her to a well-earned break at Juniper Meadows, the gorgeous Cotswolds estate owned by the Travers family.
The setting of Juniper Meadows sounded breathtaking especially at Christmas time, It had everything you could want in a story love, family, community and second chances.
I found the characters to be well developed, and multi-dimensional. There were multiple sub-plots of family dynamics Sadie’s as well as Dylan Travers that had you interested in the outcome. I must admit I choked up a bit at the end, and was glad this is a series and I'll get to meet the characters again because I wanted to know more and what would happen next. I can’t wait to go back and read the previous books and hope there’s a book five.
I will definitely read other books by this author.
I requested and received an advance reader copy of this book from Boldwood Books and Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Juniper Meadows has an influx of new people for the festive weeks. Dylan is returning home after many years, and Sadie is experiencing a me-orientated Christmas courtesy of her loving family after an unexpected break-up with her husband. The festive activities, complete with unscheduled snow, make this a lovely Christmas read. As this is the fourth book in the Juniper Meadows series, there is a continuation of the family dramas, past and present, with the returning home of a conciliatory Dylan and his teenage family. Sadie finds friendship and an unexpected romantic connection during her Christmas holiday, and it is a lovely, heartwarming read. I like the romance, the uplifting reconciliation among the Travers family, and the beautifully described festivities that are so easy to visualise. It's a lovely festive edition of a delightful series.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher.
This series just keeps getting better and better!
In this fourth book in series, it's Christmas time at Juniper Meadows and they are welcoming guests for their 'Twelve Days of Christmas' event. A few are only staying for the weekend while some, like Sadie Bingham, are staying for the full event. Following her divorce and all the angst that brought with it, her adult children have given her this stay as a gift and she is determined to make the most of it. Also staying for the duration is Dylan, erstwhile family member who has lived in the states for many years; his children want to meet their family and so all three of them are visiting and there are bridges to be mended. There's never a dull moment at Juniper Meadows!
I loved this series from the very beginning and with each book, we get to know more about the family. A truly enjoyable read with plenty going on. With a very enticing cover, I can see this one flying off the shelves this festive period. With a host of well-developed characters, this one brings in new blood and it all adds up to a sparkling yuletide read. I'm happy to recommend both this new addition (and the previous three) and give it all five stars!
My thanks to the publisher for my copy via NetGalley; this is - as always - my honest, original and unbiased review.
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this title.
Must admit, was a little strange reading a tale of a family Christmas in late summer, but that said, it was beautifully written, was encouraging to see how family dynamics come together and all enjoy Christmas together. A lovely, easy to read cosy tale
Thanks to the Publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and I couldn’t put it down.
It was lovely to see how the family care for each other through the different generations and how they come together to help each other in order to keep the business going.
This story had a beautiful Christmas setting, with everything you’d want, snow, carol singers, Christmas trail, warm beverages, snowmen, as well as finding love again.
The characters were all lovely, family and the visitors that came to stay during the festivities.
I highly recommend this book.
A thoroughly enjoyable Christmassy story that absolutely draws you from the start. We follow Sadie and her journey into her new life following her separation from her husband. After always being the person that does for everyone else, her grown up children pay for Sadie to spend Christmas at Juniper Meadows a family run estate/spa. There's so much going on within this book, you need to curl up and get comfy with a hot chocolate and lose yourself within the pages for a while. Thank you netgalley, publishers and Sarah Bennett for an advanced copy of this book for my honest opinion.
I love this author, her characters are believable. And the story flows as it should, blossoming romance and fun and heartwarming all rolled into one. A must read this Christmas
A fun Christmas story about finding new love and healing family relationships.
If you are looking for a sweet, quaint Christmas read, this is the book you should pick up for your holiday reading.
I want to read the previous books in the series. I did not realize this was part of a series.
Thank you NetGalley, the publisher and author for the opportunity to read this book for my honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.
This is book 4 of the Juniper Meadows series but can easily be read as a standalone novel. We meet Sadie, newly single and treated to a Christmas break, as well as Dylan, who is returning to the estate with his children. How will their lives entwine and improve during the festive season?
The writing draws you in to life on the estate straight away, and it feels like such a lovely place to be, especially at Christmas!
Snow is Falling is the perfect Christmas book to curl up with.
Reading this was like being given a huge mug of hot chocolate topped with whipped cream, marshmallows, and chocolate sprinkles. A beautiful Christmas read. I loved being back at Juniper Meadows again and finally meeting Dylan and his wonderful kids. I’m sad that it’s the last one, but boy was it a good one.
Sadie and Dylan were meant to be. Sadie has such a great heart and is a beautiful person inside and out, but years of being over shadowed by her husband has really knocked her. Meeting Dylan whilst at the retreat was kismet. Her kids gave her the best Christmas gift after her divorce, the gift of self healing. Similarly Dylan’s kids gave him the same gift by wanting to meet his estranged family. I loved how kind, loving and thoughtful everyone was. With a family that large it’s easy to get forgotten, but no one ever is, there is so much love. Seeing that helped Sadie stand up to her own mother and help start the healing process.
Avery and Theo are amazing teenagers, they clearly live their dad a lot and aren’t as self involved as Dylan thinks and they notice his feelings for Sadie before him and quietly work in helping them be together.
I read this book easily and it flowed so well and I was turning the last page far too soon. Every book in this series can be read as a stand alone but when read all together they are so much better. The descriptions of all the Christmas activities were amazing and I really felt I was there. It was the perfect Christmas feel good read.
Although I enjoyed reading this book, I did think it was a bit predictable and unrealistic. It’s a nice snowy Christmas romance with some family frauds rolled in. This is the 4th in this series, I have read the first one, it not the others so did remember the characters from it. The estate sounds lovely and is at the centre of the story.
A nice Christmassy 4 star romance.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for a copy.
This is the 4th book of the series but I am sure you could read it as a "stand a lone", it follows Sadie and Dylan at a christmas retreat, I love this setting and the characters are very likable, this is a lovely story and I can't wait to catch up with future adventures at Juniper Meadows, in fact I would love to stay there myself.
I enjoyed this story. It's number 4 in the series, but it serves well as a standalone story. It's told from a dual perspective. Dylan Travers is returning to his childhood home Juniper Meadows for Christmas, after being away for more than 20 years. After Sadie's life has taken a turn, her kids surprise her with a Christmas vacation at Juniper Meadows.
I really enjoyed this Christmasy Rom-Com. There were a lot of fun characters including Dylan and his kids, as well as Sadie and her family. Plus, there's a fun resort on what sounds like a country estate in England. Dylan is reconnecting with his family and Sadie is learning to reinvent herself. Plus there is a budding romance to boot!
Thanks to @boldwoodbooks, @netgalley, and the author of this ARC
