Emma Robinson certainly knows how to write a story that will pull at the heartstrings. You think you guess the outcome and then WOW there's an unexpected twist. Heartbreaking in places but a brilliant book.
Many thanks to Netgalley for the opportunity to read this excellent ARC in return for an honest review

This is my 5th book by Emma Robinson and my favorite so far! I loved it from the second I picked it up till the very last page. A woman’s worst nightmare comes true when she finds out her daughter has been hurt. Other things emerge that will pull on your heartstrings. I loved it! There’s a great twist about mid-way through that made me say “what?” Thanks to NetGalley for this early release in exchange for my honest review.

This is a really good book. I haven’t given 5 stars for a while but this book is definitely deserving. It is a good story and the characters are very well written. The story is really about Freddie and Charlotte. But Joanna is Charolette’ Mother and she doesn’t like Freddie. I want to be Joanna’s friend. Maybe not best friend because there is Sally but a close friend. I just signed up for a couple of months of Unlimited so that I can read some more by this author. Very good book and I will be recommending it. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to read an advanced copy for my honest review.

Reading Between the Wines book review #87/130 for 2024:
Book Tour!!
Rating: 31/2 🍷🍷🍷
Book: All My Fault
Author: Emma Robinson
Available now!! Released on September 9, 2024!

Sipping thoughts: What a great story of relationships, love, growing up and socio-economic disparities. This story was so heart-breaking. And when you first start reading it, you feel like it is just going to be a women’s fiction, but it turns a little bit into a domestic suspense. This story is told in dual storylines. The characters all start off as unlikable but as the story unfolds so does the likability of most characters. If you are looking for slow burning domestic suspense this is the book for you.

Cheers and thank you to @Bookouture and @Netgalley for an advanced copy of @AllMyFault.

Joanne’s dealt with a load of harsh blows in a short amount of time. The kiss of her husband and now her daughter.
I felt a lot of empathy for Joanne and admired her temerity and gumption.
I withheld any sympathy for Freddie until I knew his whole story and ultimately I think his character had the most development in the entire story.
His mother on the other hand had a very unnatural attachment to her son and got what she deserved.
There a lot of sorrow In the story but the ending couldn’t have been any better!

Joanna and her daughter Charlotte haven't spoken to each other for a long time. Joanna doesn't approve of Charlotte's boyfriend Freddie who she believes is not a very good person. When Joanna receives a visit from two police officers, who tells her that Charlotte has fell down the stairs after an altercation and is at the hospital with life altering injuries, Joanna immediately rushes to the hospital. Joanna firmly believes that Freddie is responsible for whatever happened to Charlotte. Joanna finds out that Charlotte was pregnant. What is going to happen next?

The story is told Joanna's and Freddie's POV. Despite the fact that Joanna thinks Freddie is up to no good, reading through Freddie's POV told me otherwise--that he was loving and caring towards Charlotte. The story overall was emotional and heartbreaking to read and the writing really captures those emotions very well. There are some twists and turns along the way which actually made me second guess about what is going to happen in the end. The book mainly talks about relationships, friendships and family in general and of course some suspense. This book will make you cry a lot.

Overall this book worth a five star rating.

Many thanks to Netgalley and Bookouture for the ARC. The review is based on my honest opinion only. Thank you Bookouture for making me a part of this blog tour.

A little warning before you start reading this book - have plenty of tissues ready as you sure are going to need them . This domestic drama is an utterly fabulous read but it sure did make me cry at times . It takes a lot for a book to make me cry but this one broke me at times. As well as being an emotional read I found it also to be a really gripping one and when something unexpected occurred I was flabbergasted. This has a cast of wonderful characters and I loved the relationship between Joanna and her friend Sally . For anyone who is a fan of domestic drama filled with emotion then you need to read this one . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Jana hasn't spoken to her daughter charlotte in weeks after they argue about charlotte's boyfriend. then the police arrive to tell Jana charlotte has been hurt and is in the hospital. Bu did the boyfriend hurt her?

I was invested in this book from page 1. I needed to know who hurt Charlotte. Was it Freddie? Was it someone else? I hated that Charlotte and her mother weren’t speaking at the time of the accident. The regrets her mother had through the whole story. I love a good family drama and this had all the pieces. The found family, the childhood enemies, the childhood trauma and what it does to people as adults. Everything shapes the people we become.

Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture for my ARC of this book.

Oh boy, when I say this book is utterly heartbreaking, I mean it. Even after reading the synopsis, I think a small part of me still had some hope that Charlotte would wake up. I was hoping for a miracle. And when she didn’t, I cried. In fact, there were quite a few times that I cried while reading this book.

Joanna, Charlotte’s mom, was such a strong character. She lost her husband. And then she lost her daughter. She has to keep going because she has her granddaughter and she wants to win custody of her. Her finances are a mess, and her could lose her house, but she will stop at nothing to make sure that this baby has a loving home, and that there is justice for her daughter. I don’t know if I could ever be as strong as Joanna, but I absolutely hope so.

I loved the clever way that this book played out; I didn’t expect the way that it did (I can’t say anything because I don’t want to give anything away!). But I did love the ending. That was another part of the book that made me cry!

So grab your tissues, grab a cozy blanket, and this book. Prepare for your heart to break, and then for your heart to be uplifted in this beautiful tale of heartbreak and strength.

Thank you Bookouture for inviting me to be part of the Books on Tour for “All My Fault” by Emma Robinson. Tears fell from my eyes. It was emotionally and utterly unputdownable. As a mom, it made me realize how we only want what is best for our children.
Joanne’s daughter is attacked and rushed to the hospital. Joanne is convinced her boyfriend did it. This is a roller coaster of emotions. Get the tissues ready.
Many thanks to the author, Bookouture and NetGalley for a complimentary copy of the book. The opinions expressed in this review are entirely my own.

Oh wow! Emma’s books really should come with a warning or maybe just a box of tissues! Be ready to be pulled in, but also get your heart broken! This is sad, yet heart warming at the same time.
All of Emma’s books are moving, well written, fast paced.
They are sad, yet written in a way that leaves you wanting more, to know the fait of all the characters. It is engaging and the characters are well written.
You will find it hard to put this one down as you try and work out who is responsible for what has happened, but also, what will happen next.
As ever, a lovely, heart wrenching, heart warming read! No one else writes a book like this, like Emma does.
Definitely a must read, but have those tissues within reach!

Joanna hasn't spoken to her daughter for two weeks, not since they argued again over Charlotte's relationship with her boyfriend Freddie, Joanna is convinced he's not good enough for her daughter and has tried everything to make her see sense, and it's only because she cares, but now it could be too late as police arrive to tell her that Charlotte has had an accident and is in hospital in a coma, Joanna is convinced that Freddie is responsible and that it's all her fault, she should have been there for her and will do everything in her power, as a mother, to prove he's guilty and protect her unborn grandchild.

I said that Emma's previous book had squeezed my heart to within an inch of its life, well this one squeezed it, ripped it out, trampled on it and then tried to put it back together, I'm not just emotionally bruised after this one, but totally broken. All My Fault tells the story of a mother and her grown up child and the lengths she will go to, to protect her, not always getting it right and coming across as too pushy. I really felt for Joanna, she was floundering after losing her husband and now it looks like she was about to lose her only child, I'm not sure if I'd have done anything different in that situation and I hope I never have to live through something like this, it's every parents worst nightmare. Once again Robinson has totally excelled herself with this exquisitely written, beautiful story that is begging for a happy ending and one that brought me to tears countless times in the few hours it took me to read it. I highly recommend this one, but you'll need tissues, and lots of them!!

I'd like to thank Bookouture and Netgalley for the auto approval, I will post my review on Amazon and Goodreads.

The emotions in this book are so high that you will feel torn apart. I bawled my eyes out. The guilt is one emotion that is hard to forget making it a thought provoked plot.

All My Fault by Emma Robinson is a heart-wrenching contemporary novel that I read in just two sittings.
This is an emotional read that will completely tug at your heartstrings. It is a book about a truly terrible situation and every parent’s nightmare. It is a book about the hardest goodbye.
Emma Robinson writes with sensitivity and feeling. The reader becomes caught up in the action as we ‘walk’ through the book, totally immersed in the situation and able to empathise with the lead character.
A terrible accident sees a young woman fighting for her life and for that of her unborn baby. As events unfold, we see that all is not as it seems and a guilty party walks among us. A mother has a bedside vigil as she refuses to acknowledge the worst. A partner is arrested. His character belies what a mother believes. Emotions run high. Accusations fly. Somewhere under it all lies the truth. Will the truth ever come to light? Or will it stay buried forever?
There are many emotions associated with loss. Feelings of guilt threaten to overwhelm a character who is told, “you need to be kind to yourself.”
We witness a life that has been manipulated, a life that is willing to take the fall. There is a gentle soul who needs to take control as the innocent suffer at the hands of the strong.
A lifelong friendship goes the extra mile, offering support when needed.
And the entitled pop up. A bully from childhood emerges, seemingly a changed character but a leopard never changes its’ spots. It lies dormant until it pounces once more.
All My Fault is a read that cries out for tissues. There is loss, manipulation, guilt, fear – and above all, there is love. Love shines through the darkness. When the last page has been turned, love remains.
I received a free copy from the publishers. A favourable review was not required. All opinions are my own.

What a great story again by this author. It’s heartbreaking, confusing and at the end heartwarming. Whose story do you believe, the mother or the boyfriend? I couldn’t put it down, these characters are so well written, I really enjoyed reading this story.
Thanks NetGalley and the author for the chance to read it.

Thanks to the Publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.

This story which will keep you hooked and feel almost every emotion whist reading it was very well written, and will relate to many readers.

Not long after Joanna’s husband has passed, her daughter has a bad encounter, which makes it more difficult for Joanne to come to terms with.

She is convinced that the person who attacked her daughter Freddie. After which she finds out that her daughter is expecting, and she’s intent on ensuring that the person who attacked her daughter is held accountable and she is the person who is awarded custody of her grandchild.

I highly recommend this book.
