Hannah and Jasper have a charmed life, moving to a fancy gated community on the coast...until Hannah meets a neighbour who she recognises from her less than straightforward past.
Desperate to maintain her secret, protect her family and avoid the local gossips the body count builds and the plot thickens!
fantastic book, chilling ending!

This book most definitely comes under the category of suspense/thriller. I read through it so quickly because I just couldn’t put it down and HAD to know what happened. Well written characters and a well written story that will have you gasping and guessing until the very end. Makes me excited to read more books by this author. Thank you to NetGalley for letting me read this book in exchange for my honest opinion.

I finished this book so fast ! Once you pick it up, you will not want to stop reading.
The story goes back and forth between Hannahs new life and her old one. You get a little bit of everything with this book. You have stalking, murder, and so much suspense.
Hannah and her husband Jasper move into a new house with their daughter Pia. Hannah runs into her neighbor one day, who she recognizes from her past. And from there, the story just keeps getting better as Hannah grows paranoid that her past life is going to catch up to her. She must do whatever it takes to keep to keep her past life in the dark.

Thanks to the Publisher and Netgalley for an early review copy.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book which had me hooked from the beginning.
It was packed with twists which kept you turning the pages.
The story was so well written with different timelines between the past and how it linked with the present.
I highly recommend this book.

What a great concept for a story.
Hannah had hit rock bottom, she had lost everything dear to her, suddenly the depths of the Thames looked very inviting then along came Jasper, kind dependable Jasper, the same Jasper who would give Hannah the will to carry on.
Hannah and Jasper were married, they had a six year old daughter, Pia, who they both adored and they had moved into a beautiful beach side home in and exclusive gated community, everything in the garden was rosy.........until it wasn't. Hannah caught sight of their next door neighbour and her legs turned to jelly, visions of her past came tumbling back, she knew instinctively that he had recognised her but would he turn her world upside down by revealing her secret, a secret that even her beloved Jasper knew nothing about, a secret that could shatter the dynamics of their blissful marriage and put their lives in danger. Throw is a controlling, nosy, leader of the residents association a strange "friend and a murder and you have a story that I, for one, couldn't put down. This story is written from Hannah's POV and over two timelines, worlds apart.
I really love a good thriller and this one didn't disappoint.
Thank you to Storm Publishing and Net Gallery for this ARC, my review is totally voluntary.

If you want PLOT TWISTS (and yes in capital letters) read this one. The flow of the stoey just makes you want to turn the page after page after page. Definitely recommendable!!

Prepare yourself for a long night of reading once you start this book. I just had to know what secrets Hannah was hiding.
Hannah and Jasper have moved into a luxury gated community with their daughter, Pia. It should be safe in every way. On their first day in their new home, Hannah recognizes a neighbor, who is a blast from her past. Hannah is hiding a deep secret from her husband that could potentially destroy everything she holds dear. She is frightened and frustrated. You will slowly learn a little about her past, but the author keeps you on the edge of your seat for a great deal of time as you finally learn why her past is so haunting. The secrets are slowly bubbling to the surface, and then the implied threats begin, which to someone who knows nothing about her past would mean nothing. But they mean everything to Hannah.
You do not fully appreciate the strength and stamina of Hannah until you know her full story. I had complete admiration for her after I learned the trauma from her past. There are a lot of coincidences in this story, but I feel that is the beauty of a fictional book, which allows me to use my imagination fully and enjoy a good story that will play with my mind.
Sometimes a gate and locked door will do nothing to keep the ghosts of the past away, which Hannah quickly learns. I feel this one deserves a solid five stars as it peaked my interest from the first few pages.
Thank you to Storm Publishing and NetGalley for this ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I enjoyed the majority of this book but for me the last quarter of the book dragged a little. Thanks to Storm Publishing and NetGalley for the chance to ARC this book.

This turned out to be a perfect read for our travelling day back from the EU. The 9+ hour flight back across the Atlantic just flew by while I immersed myself in Hannah's story. Talk about secrets! Hannah has some whoppers. For some reason, her partner Jasper has allowed her to maintain her silence for years.
Now that the two have moved into a seaside home with daughter Pia, that secret past is being threatened by a neighbor who knew Hannah when she had another name. Sue Fortin will slowly feed us details from the past as it looks like history might repeat itself.
This could have been a 5-star read, but I am baffled by the cover photo and blurb. If you are getting ready to pick this one up, totally disregard both. They do not complement the narrative at all. Sometimes I round up for covers. In this case I am going the other way.
Thank you to Storm Publishing and NetGalley for a complimentary ARC in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoyed my first read from Sue Fortin and will be back for more.
Celebrating my 800th review on NetGalley! 🥳

I really enjoyed this book! I enjoyed the dual timelines from Hannah and the past. I enjoyed seeing the relationship between Jasper and Hannah, and also their daughter Pia, and the stark contrast between the past where you see her marriage crumbling around her, although she does not see it yet. One thing that was really unique about this book was that no matter what timeline I was in I was always looking forward to what was going to happen. I didn't enjoy one storyline more than the other but equally enjoyed them both which is so rare!
Both the present day and the past kept me entertained and guessing what was going to happen. For the plot twists, I found one of them a little obvious, BUT the way that it spiraled from there I did not see coming! This book left me guessing, and intrigued by Hannah's story, both past and present.
I think the only thing that I didn't understand is how everyone ended up in the same area. Especially Bryan and Hannah, I feel like there had to be some way that Bryan knew she would be there. But I don't think that pulled from my enjoyment of the book.
This is a book I would recommend to anyone that likes a good psychological thriller, that like a dual timeline, and that want to be left guessing.

Jasper and Hannah have just moved with their daughter Pia, when the neighbours meet them, Hannah knows the ex cop and is terrified he shares her past life. One person, but two different identities.
This is a page turner, read it in one sitting. It’s a fast paced thriller that has great characters and a great location. I liked how the chapters shared the two indentities and how they came together. A really great 4.5 star read.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for a copy.

A jaw dropping thriller that I couldn’t put down. When Hannah and Jasper move to a new home in a close knit development it seems like it will be the perfect home and community. That’s until Hannah’s former life catches up to her and people from her past are now present in her new life. There are so many twists and turns that will keep you reading and wondering until the very end.
Thank you Storm Publishing and NetGalley for my ARC.

This was such a thrilling read overall, it had me hooked especially as the danger started, this is when it got more exciting for me.

Your Little Lies by Sue Fortin is a highly recommended novel of domestic psychological suspense.
Hannah, Jasper, and their seven-year-old daughter Pia moved to the exclusive gated neighborhood of Silverbanks. Their new home has direct access to the beach and is part of a community and all of the activities it provides. After she meets an outgoing neighbor on the beach, Annabelle, she is sure she has made a friend in the area. Hannah had some trauma in her background that she refuses to talk about with anyone, including Jasper, but her past comes back when at a neighborhood barbecue she realizes that their next door neighbor, Bryan, was a part of her secret past. He later privately acknowledges their past connection, when she was known as Laurel, but he assures her that he will not reveal her secret. Soon it becomes clear that someone else knows her secret and is going to make her pay for it.
After readers learn early on that Hannah used to be called Laurel, the chapters alternate between the point-of-view of Hannah in the present and Laurel from ten years ago. The present day story moves faster than that of the past which is providing background information. This information serves to develop Hannah as a complex character and does eventually lead up to a huge reveal that will make her present day concerns understandable. You don't learn about her neighbors connection to her until much later in the novel but at that point there are more prevalent concerns.
The writing is good and pace is even as several disquieting events occur. All the action unfolds through Hannah's point-of-view and things left unspoken serve to increase the suspense and tension. You'll be questioning what is going on until a more serious event happens, followed by an increase of information being disclosed closer to the end. Admittedly, you have to set disbelief aside several times and parts are a bit too predictable, but it is still a satisfying story. Thanks to Storm Publishing for providing me with an advance reader's copy via NetGalley. My review is voluntary and expresses my honest opinion.
The review will be published on Barnes & Noble and Amazon.

Your Little Lies kept me guessing until the very end! Although the two identities of the main character confused me at the beginning, I couldn’t stop reading once I picked this book up! I wish there would have been more of an explanation at the end of the book on the reasoning, but nonetheless this was a good read!

When Hannah, Jasper and their young daughter Pia move to their dream house in the idyllic exclusive Silverbanks community, life should be perfect…
One of Hannah’s new neighbours is a face from her past who’s appearance threatens to disrupt Hannah’s whole life and drag out secrets and lies from her past.
Told mainly from Hannah’s POV this thriller was well plotted and tense at times with the family under threat. I enjoy Sue Fortin’s novels and loved this one. It shows what happens when an ordinary family woman is thrown into an extraordinary situation and we get to see the lengths she will go to to protect her own.

BookTok/Tube has fully corrupted me because why was I rooting for the main character and Daniel???
The plot of this book is that Hannah moves into a rich community with her boyfriend/partner but her past comes back to haunt her. The book is written in both the current timeline where Hannah is dealing with the past and a past timeline where Hannah's history is slowly explained.
It's really hard to talk about this book without giving spoilers so this will be a shorter review. I found the slow exposition interesting and it kept me reading to try to find the past timeline chapters. The mystery/thriller aspect was pretty easy to guess but it was still super fast-paced and really fun to read.
Mini spoilers but why was the chemistry between Hannah and Daniel so much better than Hannah and her partner(s)??? I was so rooting for her and Daniel when I know that defeats the purpose of the entire book. Yes Jasper was a much better person overall but still
Fun, quick domestic thriller and an easy read for any thriller readers

*thank you SO MUCH to net galley, the author and the publisher for the ARC <3*
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 stars
OH. MY. GOD. I- I just, oh my god, this book is my new favourite. I just finished this book and I am MIND BLOWN! I LOVE this book soo much!
It is about a woman named Hannah Towers who lives with her partner and her 7-year old daughter. They have just bought a beachside house and shifted to Silverbanks, a place where only the rich live, one full safety. However, would shifting her house be enough for Hannah to forget her past she so desperately wants to escape? Or would her past hunt her down and make more appearances?
I literally couldn’t stop read this one! It has a super compelling hook that sucked me right into the story from the start. The writing is reallyy good and the emotions and thoughts are portrayed so well. At first I was a bit confused about who is Hannah and who is Lauren but that was just like another twist for me. Talking about twists and turns, THE LAST 70 % OF THIS BOOK. I genuinely don’t have words. The last 70% made me feel ALL sorts of emotions from sadness, anger, sympathy and at last genuine happiness for Hannah. (the ending was a little bit rushed (could have been better if a little more explanation was given in the end) but the rest of the book made up for it)
I would for sure recommend this to everyone. If you enjoy thrillers and mysteries this one is definitely for you!

I had a hard time getting through this one. I am not sure if it was the writing style or maybe there were just too many details for me to get lost in. I found myself flipping back and forth trying to piece together what was going on.

Jasper and Hannah, along with their small daughter Pia, moved to Silverbanks, a gated community with beautiful homes and a good safety record. Hannah was desperate for safety and thought she could find it in Silverbanks. Until, not long after their move, Hannah saw a face she recognised; a face from her dreadful, traumatic past. But he had been a good person, surely that wouldn't have changed?
Jasper had once saved Hannah's life; she loved him dearly and he, her. And Pia was surrounded by love. So Hannah knew that once again those memories needed to be shut away. Gradually though, small, unexplainable things started happening. And someone was murdered. Hannah was questioned but she wouldn't be arrested, surely? As the small incidents slowly turned into big ones, Hannah felt threatened, and Jasper couldn't understand what was happening. Would Hannah's life spiral out of control once again? Would she lose everything for the second time?
Your Little Lies is a psychological thriller with a bevy of twists and turns by Sue Fortin which I thoroughly enjoyed. Hannah was an incredibly strong woman, determined to keep her family safe. But the secrets and lies rippled through the pages and threatened to undo everything. Plenty of bad guys - but also, plenty of good! Highly recommended.
